Best bicycle shop in town. Darin, Mari, Chris, new Chris and Roscoe are the best in the business. One of the few shops in town open on Sunday's too.

First time visiting and I will surely be back. I love supporting local businesses that have amazing customer service. Went in for cycling shoes and got exactly what I needed. My cleats were installed, I was shown how to use the shoes and expertly fitted. They have a huge selection of bikes and very knowledgeable. I will surely be back.

So I really struggled with writing this review, because I really wanted to like this place, but alas, it just didn't work out. I found them via Yelp and because of the great reviews, decided to give them a try. I recently relocated to Charlotte, and I needed a tuneup on my mountain bike as well as my sprocket swapped out because the teeth were ground down in a couple of places. I have a pretty expensive E bike and they have a reputation as one of the original E bike shops in town so I thought this was the place to go. While customer service was pretty receptive, my overall service experience was less than desired. They kept the bike for a couple of days and called me back to let me know that I could pick it up because it was ready to ride. While I should've test drove the bike at the shop, trust of these guys had done that themselves so I took off. Immediately upon hitting the trail my chain started popping off.I unfortunately ended up with a new sprocket that did not fit my bike and kept popping the chain. When I took the bike back to see if they could figure out a new solution, they instead put my old sprocket back on the bike and promptly returned it to me without really explaining why they weren't able to fix it or what other solutions could be tried. I did appreciate the job they did on the rest of the bike but for the money I paid I ended up essentially spending about $350 on what amounted to an overpriced tuneup. My chain is still popping off so I'm still going to need to find another bike shop to get this problem fixed.

My third Ebike will be 65 next year. will be doing the gap trail over 250 miles in 3 days. Excellent service and sales.

Refused to service my e-bike. They only service their overpriced e-bikes. Take your business elsewhere!

Great shop with knowledgeable staff. A little pricey but I guess most bike shops are in this area.

Good shop, with good people running it! A little cramped and it's hidden, but quite the cozy gem when you find it!

I blame the odd…read moresignage (one shirted dummy, seated; words at the top of a window which are largely covered by an awning; text atop that awning with a different name on it!) as I definitely saw and identified the location to the left and the two boutiques to the right as I ride right past this main event. I literally thought this place was a vintage shop based on the branding I could see and the TIKI STATUE in the main window display. The location itself was neat and clean, and totally packed. I was impressed with all of the inventory they had. That said, I didn't know what some of it was and I couldn't tell what a lot of it cost. Clarity of labeling is important to keep things from feeling like clutter and to allow customers to help themselves. Also, I just didn't really feel the love which tells me that at this location customers do have to help themselves. I came by to see what the place was all about and what kind of services were offered but didn't really find that out. Did speak with someone who appeared to be working and it looked like there was a huge shop area in the back but I didn't really get a sense for what was going on, what was available, who would be helping me/my new baby girl (haven't named her, yet), etc. I'll definitely check them out again if/when I've got something specific going on, but this visit felt pretty average. If you're going to help me with my wheels, I want to feel like you love her, too. Even if she's been around the block a time or two!

If your considering buying bikes, take a minuet to read my experience…read more Talking about getting bikes for over 1 year now, my wife & I were driving by The Bike Gallery on Park Rd. and decided to stop in. We had no intent to buy anything as we were just starting the process and didn't even have a budget or even know what kind or brand of bike to get. Immediately greeted by the guy at the counter, I let him know we just wanted some information. He asked us a few questions and talked us through several options. As he began to narrow down our goals, he walked us outside to show us what he felt would be a good fit. Trying them out in the parking lot we were pleased. Of course I hadn't looked at the price tag, so I asked the question, and much to my surprise they were much less than I expected. This guy could have "up sold" me, but he didn't. This was the right bike for us. No pressure whatsoever, I don't even think he asked us if we wanted to purchase them, but we were so thrilled with the experience we ordered two bikes that day. We got a call that our bikes were ready and went to pick them up. When we arrived, we were met again by one of the owners and he immediately got our bikes. Remember, we are new to this so they could have sold us anything, but no pressure. I asked about helmets, he showed us a few options but suggested one, so we both of them, I also purchased a bike rake for my truck, and they put it together so I could use it bringing my bikes home. They didn't have to do that.... But they did. A family-owned business for 50 years, brand name bikes, surprisingly reasonable prices and great service, I won't think twice if I need anything and will make the drive across town just to do business with these guys. If you think you're going to get a bike cheaper somewhere else, trust me, you will get a cheap bike. If you're thinking about getting new bikes or even need service on the ones you have, cheat yourself, go see the team at The Bike Gallery. Joe & Megan, Mint Hill, NC
