This location is like the others that I have been to. Clean, airy, bright (plenty of windows letting sunlight in). I have shopped at this location several times, staff is friendly, nice selection of cookware, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, mixes, spices, etc. I have taken 2 cooking classes there. Including a class for Steak, Salad, Mousse. It was fun, and informative. Class was a little over 2 hours. We were taught by a renowned chef who walked us through every step in the process. See attached pictures, but in the end, we had a delicious meal prepared by all 4 of us at our station. We also got a discount to use that day on any items we purchased. In addition we were emailed the recipe and ingredient list, and a coupon on a future class. I recommend a class if you have time.

I'm glad I found out about the cooking classes when I just happened to be in the store. There was a schedule for that month posted on the back wall near the restrooms. I immediately wanted to take a baking class then ended up taking several classes like Knife Skills, Intro to Sushi, Delicious Dim Sum, Tamale Making just to name a few. When I was inside the store, the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The chefs were consistently amazing to learn from. They were great with walking the class through the steps and answering our questions at the same time. I loved their team approach...having us work in a group or in a pair depending on the capacity in the kitchen. An added bonus was taking the recipes home. I remember a few years back it was nice to sit down as a class, eat together and socialize; but nowadays, I noticed we've been taking our dishes home. I wonder if it recently went back to how it was originally. Anyway, I always had a fun time cooking, learning something new and meeting people. Thank you Sur La Table for contributing to my cooking journey :-)

Chef prepared a lovely Buffet style dinner for 20+ ladies for a friend's Bach and was willing to make it all work at an outdoor park venue! She mentioned she hadn't done an event quite like this before but was incredibly helpful and flexible in the preplanning & she came prepared with all the necessary equipment to help keep the food warm. Everything was delicious, and as many of the girls were vegetarian, her menu & cooking style offered several options to explore. We loved her Mediterranean dinner menu - the onion & feta tartlets, Moroccan tagine stuffed peppers and rose saffron Bundt cakes were especially delicious! Thank you to Chef Adina, can't wait to find another reason to work together !

Having her there made my life so easy... took all the stress of being in the kitchen away so I could also enjoy the evening. Best decision I ever made! Everyone was impressed with her flavorful food, answering their questions, and I loved that she helped clean up the kitchen for me! It was THE BEST PARTY BECAUSE OF CHEF RACHEL!! We still talk about it all the time and all our employees remember it as one of the best experiences they've ever had. They felt so important to have a private chef cook a meal for them. As a business owner, for the holidays, we wanted our work family to feel valued and enjoy a special occasion. Having Chef Rachel made it exactly that! It was memorable for us all. THANK YOU CHEF RACHEL! For any event you're planning, I'd recommend Chef Rachel because she is reliable, communicates well, is very professional, and also one of the most pleasant persons I've ever been able to meet. If it's a casual party or a nice event, you can count on Rachel to make your party the best!! She truly is wonderful! I'll definitely be calling her again!!

You walk in and the employee will give you a run down on the process. If you want to take your ceramic home the same day, you can use acrylic paint, if you don't mind waiting you can choose to glaze it and there is a $5 firing fee. We chose to do glaze and wait a 1-2 weeks and they texted us when it was ready. (Only took a week) In terms of inventory, they have cute Knick knack ceramics you can make or kitchenware like plates, bowls, coasters, etc. I also saw people painting canvases so you really do have a lot of options if you're looking for a fun craft day. Pro tip: do multiple layers if you're gonna do glaze. I'd recommend at least 3, but 4 or 5 if you have the time.

Art Cafe is located next to Target. If inside Target, you would have to go to the 2nd floor and…read morethen walk a tad to the left. It is across from Victoria's Secret within the mall. There are no bathrooms and you would need to walk over to use Target's. Mckenna was working the cafe when we came in. She's only one person but quite knowledgeable about the two paints offered - acrylic and glaze. Acrylic paint can be taken home same day. They apply a clear coat finishing spray and it will dry same day but may take a few hours. Anything with this paint would not be safe to eat/drink on if you get a plate/cup. Glaze will need 3 layers and would be an additional week to 2. When you paint it, it will look a bit chalkier but with the glaze, will turn shiny. There is a $5 firing fee. I believe this is okay to eat or drink after they glaze it. You could first choose which piece you want to paint, could be a cup/plate/dish or a figure. Pricing fluctuates depending on inventory. Ceramic pieces prices range from $15.99 to $50.00. They also offer canvas painting which prices range from $15.00 to $23.00. It's perfect to just paint and let your creative side come out. We enjoyed our time here painting. We also saw a few others come in either for date time or family time. One family was clever in that they had several kids, so they had each kid paint a teacup. If you don't finish or want to come back another time, you can always leave your piece with them and return to continue painting. You will need to pay though so they have your number on file to contact you (if you are getting it glazed) and also for you to resume your painting piece there. My girlfriend who was visiting, enjoyed our time here as we caught up talking and chatting while painting our shells. She had to do hers acrylic as she had to fly back to NY the next day. We ended up staying close to closing hours, so Mckenna helped do a quick spray - put it in a box for it to dry (due to the fumes) and let her take a picture of the spray to give it another layer when she went back. I did mine with glaze and got a text message it was ready a week and two days that it was ready for pick up. Very satisfied with our visit here and may come again.
