You write your name on the board as a single players and you're skipped over as foursomes come off court but won't break up to sign up with you. I waited 45 minutes for a game while 7 courts finished their games and went back on court again and again. The "ambassadors" are absolutely useless in ensuring rotation. Their motto is "come with 4 people if you want to play." Pickleball is supposed to embrace inclusivity and this is anything but.

The playground is nice with your typical swings and play area with monkey bars etc. They do have a Little Rock Climbing structure and some spinning items that make it fun for the kiddos. Excellent place that has a lot to offer or to just relax and sight see. The con is, the playground has a lot of fire ants that are crawling on some of the play areas and the benches. It would be nice if this was addressed as we've been here many of times and the problem still exist. Besides that, a wonderful place to spend the day!

The visitors generally do a very good job of behaving themselves, which I personally am thankful for because the park rangers do absolutely nothing. Several times I have seen people fishing in the lakes around the park (which is also a STATE PRESERVE WITH CLEARLY POSTED NO FISHING SIGNS), and every time the rangers have been completely unaware. They rarely venture outside of their station. As a result of this the quality of this park is slowly degrading. Aside from illegal fishing there is now graffiti and other signs of vandalism in multiple places throughout the park. Come here while you still can, before long it will be a much worse place because of lazy rangers.

A space of 12 feet for the diving boards, a lower and higher one. Obviously the higher diving board will create a harder impact going into the water. I got water in ears of mine twice off the diving boards. First time fizzled out, second time needed hydrogen peroxide when I got home. The ladder out of pool isn't so easy to climb. I did try both Water slides. The yellow tubed one was super fast. The blue one was open air and slower. You could feel the grooves where sections of slide were put together on your back when going down the slides. Also, you did not dispense into a pool at bottom of slide but stayed in your lane which made for an abrupt landing and not so easy to get up and out! :) kids under the height requirement could handle the blue slide! :)

You can (and in fact, you're encouraged to) bring your own snacks/drinks, but they also have a small concessions area. We packed a cooler of drinks (la croix and some harder bevvies for the adults in our group), sandwiches, and snacks, and headed to this park for the afternoon. There was a large kids pool that was at most 3 1/2 feet deep, with a bunch of squirting machines and a giant wheel that dumps water. My nephews and niece really enjoyed this one, and it was large enough that there was still room to swim around and have fun. There was also a nice ledge along the back side of the pool (away from the attractions) so you can comfortably sit! There was also a large pool (that was much colder!) with lap lanes, an area to hang/swim, and a high and low diving board. There was always a small line for the diving boards, the kids were having so much fun! On top of all that, there are 2 water slides and an infant pool. The pool areas are well-staffed with lifeguards who were on top of keeping an eye on everything, blowing the whistle to get the attention of people, making sure kids were walking not running, and keeping the area safe. There's also a good blend of chairs in the sun and picnic type tables in the shade. We had a blast here and it's a great place for a family fun day!

There's a nice little shaded and fenced in playground for the kids, newly surfaced basketball and tennis courts, a sand volleyball court and a small grassy area to kick the soccer ball around. The two pools (one lap pool) have plenty of space to accommodate many residents, and enough chairs for everyone to grab a tan. I enjoy hanging out in this peaceful spot of Briarwood quite often.

After all this time, now I'm in violation something... Okay. One of which stood out to me the most: "#3) Please note your home is not an approved Briarwood color"... Okay. Yet, the color of my house had never once been changed or altered within 17+ years nor was I ever notified that there was a new color list. If a letter, email or certified letter from USPS had been sent to me, I would have corrected what was wrong then. I had zero knowledge of this until there was interest in my house. I was fined $100/day for 33 days and even though I was in the process of having all violations taken care of before the new homeowners took over, I still had to pay $3,300 on top of all the money it was costing to correct these fines (a lot). If I was taking care of the violations before I went to sell the house and leave the neighborhood, then why would I have to pay for the fines too? Mind blown. Oh, and Sylvia M. is an absolute nightmare to communicate with and Bill Spinelli, President/Owner of Titan Homes, LLC is just a "crook". I quote "crook" because several people use that word when speaking of him and well, that's him... "a dishonest person, especially a sharper, swindler, or thief". I am so happy to be out of that hell hole.

It has a bunch of different little pavilions with their own grills that you can rent. It has a kayak rack where you can rent to keep your kayak stored there for safe storage. And it has its own boat dock for small boats and a boat dock for actual boats. There's a canal that has salt and non salt water combined. There's a big stage area where you can rent for dancing or shows. There's a decent amount of parking. There's a lot of walking areas which connects to another park as well. This park is absolutely stunning and 100% worth going to.
