The kids pool area. With splash area and leap pads.
Julie H.

Honestly, not worth the price to get in!! There are way too many options in SWFL area to pay that much for a waterpark! When I took my son and nephew, there were two slides that were not working. The bottom and grout of the kiddie pool looked dingy and dirty. The lazy river was very dirty!! The bathrooms were clean. There were plenary of lounge chairs. The older kids pool with the fountains and leap pads was very nice, my son enjoyed that one the most.

Kiddie frog jump and soaking guns pool!

I have to start this review by informing everyone that I am a 24 year old woman. And with that said... Woohoo, hooray, yippppeeee! It wasn't the most excellent water park I've ever been to of course; it's not extremely modern. But even so, I found it to be an excellent time. We went with our 13 year old cousin and he loved it too. Five water slides - one of those being an inter tube slide that spits you out right into the Lazy River. I thought that was pretty neat. It's the first time I have seen that type of design, but I'm probably just sheltered. The other slides were pretty fast and just an enjoyable ride all around. The slits in the slide's tubes did bother my lower back a little, but if you sit up a bit further it doesn't bother you as much. There is a kiddie pool, diving pool, two lane lap swim, family pool of four feet, and a little play area with big foam frogs. You're supposed to make it the whole way without falling off as you're being blasted with water guns. If I was still 8 years old I would have spent the entire day there lol. The lazy river had two different sections - one had tons of different waterfalls spitting on you and one of those buckets that fill with water and randomly soaks someone. That someone was me. It was fun. The other side was water spicket-less but very relaxing. There are lockers for a quarter which I think was a really good deal in comparison to most parks I've been to. That's usually where they suck money out of you. It was only $12 admission for adults and I thought that was a terrific deal. Add to that the coupon you can find online for 20% off and it's only $10+ instead. I would recommend this place for sure. I had such a great time and plus, climbing those stairs to the slides a ton of times is one GREAT workout :)

NICE water park!

This is a nice little recreational spot for the family on a hot summer day! I'd bring my family here often if I lived here. Very affordable, something for every age group, clean, and the food's great! I would have rated it 5 stars, but I didn't like not being able to eat my food under the umbrella I was sitting (you can't take the food from the concession area) and the concession has a LOT of flies in the area where the food is cooked/prepared. Other than THAT, everything was awesome!

How strict are they about bringing snacks and drinks for the kids?

Not strict at all. We went Sunday feb 15 which was opening day. The facility was in poor repair, and filthy. The hand dryers didn't work in some of the bathrooms. The lazy river had tubes that were under inflated and not nearly enough for the people… Read more

The look on my grandkids faces was priceless. So I will suffer with another virus for them. We did a 2 night stay by using a Groupon. Thank you Groupon. It made it affordable which is always a plus. The only reason I gave it a 4 is the overall affordability. It's a very pricey place. You pay for everything outside of what you pay for your room. Thank goodness it includes the waterpark passes. That was primarily why we were there. And we all enjoyed every minute. Outside of the water park we spent a lot of time in the Arcade. It was a lot of fun. A lot of tickets won and they walked away with some great prizes. Over all our stay was good. Room was nice and spacious. And comfortable. The activities on the lobby for the kids were great. Especially the story time. Watching our 2 year old grandson enjoy that was priceless.

We purchased the Wolf Pass so we could experience everything together, but my daughter ended up running into a friend from school and spent a lot of time playing with her. In hindsight, I probably could've just gotten the pass for her. The indoor water park stays nice and warm, so you don't have to worry about the weather at all. The wave pool, slides, and overall setup were perfect for kids. My daughter especially loved the slides and the ropes course which even included a small zip line. We also tried MagiQuest, which was a fun interactive game with wands and quests throughout the lodge. We didn't spend a ton of time on it, but it was still a cool experience. One thing I'll say for parents with only children considering a trip like this...do it. Your child will make friends. There are kids everywhere, and it's a very social, family-friendly environment. The only downside for me was the food. There are plenty of on-site options, but the quality was inconsistent. The breakfast buffet wasn't great the first day but was much better the second. Same with the food hall...chicken wings were amazing one day and not fresh the next. The restaurant food was also underwhelming (the mashed potatoes tasted instant, which was disappointing). Considering the prices, I expected more consistency and quality. That said, everything else was great. The lodge felt very safe, and I was especially impressed with the number of lifeguards actively watching the water park...they were attentive and clearly doing their job well! Great experience overall.

A space of 12 feet for the diving boards, a lower and higher one. Obviously the higher diving board will create a harder impact going into the water. I got water in ears of mine twice off the diving boards. First time fizzled out, second time needed hydrogen peroxide when I got home. The ladder out of pool isn't so easy to climb. I did try both Water slides. The yellow tubed one was super fast. The blue one was open air and slower. You could feel the grooves where sections of slide were put together on your back when going down the slides. Also, you did not dispense into a pool at bottom of slide but stayed in your lane which made for an abrupt landing and not so easy to get up and out! :) kids under the height requirement could handle the blue slide! :)

You can (and in fact, you're encouraged to) bring your own snacks/drinks, but they also have a small concessions area. We packed a cooler of drinks (la croix and some harder bevvies for the adults in our group), sandwiches, and snacks, and headed to this park for the afternoon. There was a large kids pool that was at most 3 1/2 feet deep, with a bunch of squirting machines and a giant wheel that dumps water. My nephews and niece really enjoyed this one, and it was large enough that there was still room to swim around and have fun. There was also a nice ledge along the back side of the pool (away from the attractions) so you can comfortably sit! There was also a large pool (that was much colder!) with lap lanes, an area to hang/swim, and a high and low diving board. There was always a small line for the diving boards, the kids were having so much fun! On top of all that, there are 2 water slides and an infant pool. The pool areas are well-staffed with lifeguards who were on top of keeping an eye on everything, blowing the whistle to get the attention of people, making sure kids were walking not running, and keeping the area safe. There's also a good blend of chairs in the sun and picnic type tables in the shade. We had a blast here and it's a great place for a family fun day!

From the moment you arrive, until you leave you get exactly what you hoped for from Four Seasons. Service the is beyond normal expectation, a staff that wants to make your day better, and a location that makes the days go by way to fast. This place has a local vibe that is unique. And really relaxing and peaceful. I look to Four Seasons to help me unwind from a busy schedule and day to day interruptions. I find that really exists at Naples. The sand is white, and the ocean is right at your feet. The sunset is unobstructed from the deck off our room, and from our bed. Really cool. There was cheering from the bar patrons when the suns last light fell behind the ocean. It was beautiful. The pastry chef makes the best cinnamon rolls at brunch. Staff is always within reach, and the manager was present throughout our stay. They have opened a nice coffee shop cafe on premise that is really convenient and the coffee is excellent. My Grandkids loved the Naples zoo, it's small but good. Has a fun boat ride. And the Revs auto museum Was awesome, including race ready cars from multiple decades. If you like high end race cars don't miss it. If you enjoy Four Seasons, you will love the Naples resort

South Seas is a resort, but has many buildings that are privately owned which is how we originally began staying here via Air BNB. As a family, a trip to Captiva has been something my parents started doing when they were dating, and now it is a family tradition that is 3 decades strong. We have been keeping an eye on the progress of the island after the devastation from hurricane Ian and we were THRILLED to see the resort reopen and the island making strides to welcome folks back. Our family of 7 booked a 3 bedroom beach villa which had ocean views with a quick walk to the beach. The villa featured a master bedroom, guest bedroom with a twin bed and two bunk beds, and a loft with a queen size bed. It also had three bathrooms. There are a ton of options when it comes to room sizes and villas, but we like ocean view for the ease of going to the beach. We were in the 2600 building which is right at the entrance. The kitchen was brand new, and looked out at the living room and screened in balcony. For a group this size it is a comfortable space, and the kitchen makes it easy for you to not have to eat out every meal. I will say one piece of feedback would be to have a sheet pan and chef's knife as part of the appliances, in the past with our Air BNB there were definitely more kitchen utensils included - however I know that they are just getting back on their feet so it was totally fine. Now onto the pro reason you should stay as a resort guest - the amenities. We got to enjoy the pool with access to their restaurant and bar, as well as the shell city burger food truck on the sand. Service at every venue was amazing and everyone was so friendly. If you are not a resort guest, you cannot enjoy these amenities as the charges are directly to the room and they don't take cash/card. They currently have Red Fish Grill which is a restaurant but also poolside bar, Shell City Burgers which is a food truck, and Harborside which is a fancy steakhouse. It goes without saying vacation is all about ease and relaxation - so opting to dine on property when we didn't feel like cooking was awesome. I also enjoyed the resort gym - the equipment is phenomenal. It is also very clean. Overall, you should note that as of right now they are still working to rebuild. You should expect some construction as South Seas 2.0 is being worked on, but it is all for the best for something truly special. In the works is new hotel rooms, a water park, and a beachfront restaurant. I am so happy to see Captiva Island rebuilding and open for folks to enjoy. It is such a special and beautiful place. Thank you to South Seas for continuing to make our family vacations so special.
