Sunset at the park during 4th of July Celebration. Beautiful place for the family to picnic and enjoy the surf.

Nice tranquil Gulf beach to spend the day. Located in the Coquina Sands neighborhood, there's ample parking and a pier with showers and AC bathrooms. They also sell concessions. The beach is nice white sand and very calm. Great for a beach day if you're in the Naples area and definitely stay for those beautiful gulf sunsets. Beach day success!

I've been here a few times both in the mornings and for sunsets, and while there are definitely people around and groups, I can still easily find a place in the sand to put my belongings that is a comfortable distance from others. Overall this was my oasis for relaxation for the brief month I was in Naples. The water is lovely, and I've encountered scores of sand dollars in the shallow water, witnessed birds diving for fish yards away, and even been touched by a dolphin at sunset. I haven't had issues with parking, and there are easily accessible foot-rinsing stations. Plenty of picnic tables available and even a volleyball court, but so far I haven't seen anyone use it.

This is probably my favorite beach to go to in the US. There are multiple places to wash the sand off, restrooms, and a little place to get a bit to eat. Make sure you stay for the sunset. It's always amazing. If you see Paul, tell him I said hello.

Very fun! Nice beach not very busy, great for walking. Nice little ice cream area. You do have to pay for parking, but not expensive at all.

I enjoyed my visit to Lowdermilk Park yesterday. We got there a little after five so we could settle in and watch the sunset - it was a fantastic place to do this. They have a large parking lot, and maybe because it was Thursday evening and a little after five, we were able to get a parking spot in the row closest to the beach. They have a large pavilion attached to a walk-up café where can get all kinds of food (from burgers salads to sweet treats). We were there just for the sunset, though, and made our way to the very soft-sanded and pretty beach. The beach was clean, and while they were plenty of people watching the sunset, it was not overly crowded. Somebody had built really intricate sandcastle, and that was cool to see. A group of beachgoers said they had been protecting it all day from the "ravages of marauding children" who they had seen destroying one the day before. OK, in reality there were no "marauding children", but a sandcastle had been kicked down the day before There are showers behind the pavilion where you can rinse off the sand, and also restrooms. Seems this pretty park has everything you need for a great day at the beach.

What a great find and easy to find. I searched for beaches and it took me right to this place. This little family friendly park. Is located in the middle of a residential area. It's nice and green and full of trees. The park is nice and well kept. It is really clean. This little has meter parking. The parking lot is a good size and it's near the beach. This park has two kids playground, two volleyball nets, a concession stand that serves food, bathrooms, showers and plenty of picking tables. The tables are all around, some in the shade other by concession stand. One side of the park you have the beach. The other side of the park you have a small lake. And more sitting areas around it. It is also a nice shady cool area. The other side of the park is the volleyball nets and the other side of the park is the entrance and exit. It's almost a imperfect square. The beach was beautiful and clean. It was pretty crowded. I noticed a rental stand. you can rent kayaks and umbrellas here. I had a great day . I am so glad I found this place.

Great day to be on the beach

Very interesting beach to say the least. I definitely liked the powdery sand and the parking was much less than going to Sanibel, which is the closet beach to us. This was our first time here and there was poop floating in the water around us! Yuck. There are two playgrounds and a concession stand. There are bathrooms and outside showers. The parking is $2.50 an hour.

My favorite beach of all time. They've a concession stand that I have yet to take advantage. You know they've kayaks and boats paddle boards etc they also have lots of parking spaces, theres a playground area for kids volleyball nets. You can walk up and down the beach there's a long stretch of beach. The ocean /Gulf is Usually calm but some like today has waves. What I really was hoping for was a boardwalk like they have on some beaches like N.J

Nice sandy beach. Good for looking at sunset and relaxed. However, there are too many people (at least on NYE when we were there).

One of the standout feature of the park is the creative playground that is a hit with kids. It has a pirate ship, castle turrets, and lots of places to climb and engage in imaginative play. My favorite part of the park is the beautifully landscaped walking path that winds around the lake. A sign at the entrance to the trail shows how you can increase the half mile walk around the lake to .9 miles by incorporating walking the perimeter of the fields in the back of the park. It is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous jog. The lake is also a great place to bird watch and fish. Mackle Park has something for everyone. It offers a blend of recreational facilities and natural beauty that makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I did try both Water slides. The yellow tubed one was super fast. The blue one was open air and slower. You could feel the grooves where sections of slide were put together on your back when going down the slides. Also, you did not dispense into a pool at bottom of slide but stayed in your lane which made for an abrupt landing and not so easy to get up and out! :) kids under the height requirement could handle the blue slide! :)

We packed a cooler of drinks (la croix and some harder bevvies for the adults in our group), sandwiches, and snacks, and headed to this park for the afternoon. There was a large kids pool that was at most 3 1/2 feet deep, with a bunch of squirting machines and a giant wheel that dumps water. My nephews and niece really enjoyed this one, and it was large enough that there was still room to swim around and have fun. There was also a nice ledge along the back side of the pool (away from the attractions) so you can comfortably sit! There was also a large pool (that was much colder!) with lap lanes, an area to hang/swim, and a high and low diving board. There was always a small line for the diving boards, the kids were having so much fun! On top of all that, there are 2 water slides and an infant pool. The pool areas are well-staffed with lifeguards who were on top of keeping an eye on everything, blowing the whistle to get the attention of people, making sure kids were walking not running, and keeping the area safe. There's also a good blend of chairs in the sun and picnic type tables in the shade. We had a blast here and it's a great place for a family fun day!
