The beach is a soft white fluffy sand. The only food choice nearby is the concession stand at the pavilion.

Despite the amount of people there, we were able to find sea shells, and because of the time of day, there weren't a ton of gulls. The beach stretches out for quite a bit in both directions from the pier, but we went to the right of it to get the best shots of the sunset. Parking here is metered with one of those pay machines where you put in your space number and how long you will be there. It is reasonably priced, and there were a lot of parking spaces. I believe you can park on the bordering streets if the lots are full. Honestly, I didn't even now we were going to visit here, but I'm glad we did!
