She cares about teaching and helping you grow. She understands everyone's skills and goals are different. You won't have the exact same plan as the person in the next room, but it means you're growing the way you should in order to succeed. After I was "done" with voice lessons (when I left for college), I took piano lessons. They also offer guitar, small group ensembles and recitals! I've worked with many staff members when I needed to switch my day/time and they are all incredible people. Jodi is very specific when hiring and won't settle for someone who isn't the right fit for the students. I would say voice lessons worked well for me. I sang at Carnegie Hall in 2018. Years of practice and building my skills led me to that stage. Thanks, Jodi!

When I called, she stayed on the phone with me until she was certain my payment has gone through. Thank you so much, Jennifer, for a wonderful experience!

Vaughan Music Studios likely has the most premiere mixing environment of any facility I've seen. I had the pleasure of touring the music lessons spaces, performance hall, and studio at Vaughan, with Cindy Vaughan, who owns and manages the ins and outs. Lookout for this place in the future- as it seems likely to become a staple in Columbus' music education and music scene as a whole.

Columbus is fortunate to be able to claim a resource such as this one.

Well, after getting there and looking at my statement I realized that I was not given an ultrasonic and instead a Chem clean. This completely ruined the way the horn looked and they didn't bother to remove the streaking. I also noticed that the fin was coming apart which I would have assumed would be a part of the general repair. Overall just really disappointed with what I got because it's going to be a lot of work to get the horn looking good. It plays well but it just wasn't what I had asked for

In all seriousness, Annalisa has helped me discover that all those people in my past who said: "You can't play music, maybe it would be better if you just mouthed the words... and so forth" WRONG! I can play the piano. I do have a sensibility about rhythm. And I can read music. We have a good mixture of theory and practice and she is experienced enough and has enough music that she can supplement my lesson book, providing me with just the right challenge and just the right practice. Tuition is right on par with other teachers in the area and given the level of experience and the depth of Annalisa's knowledge it is more than reasonable. To branch out and try to learn a few things with instruments that I have never played. One of those such instruments is the drums. And I am starting relatively from scratch, I've never played drums in my life. I already had found a vintage Ken 1602 wood/rubber practice drum pad that I remembered friends using in the past. It's great. Picked up some sticks online, but Columbus Precussion has a huge selection too if you need some. So, all I was looking for at this point was an instructional book to start me along the way of learning rudiments of rhythms, how to hold sticks properly, and some other basic skills. Things that I can work on on my own as a self-starter musician project. I found just what I needed and more at this great store. It is well-stocked with full drum kits, snares, and other specialty drums. They also have other handheld percussion instruments. Plenty of general drumming supplies, including the instructional books I needed. Once I told the friendly & knowledgeable staff what I was looking for, they were able to narrow down my choices to a couple that suited my needs. They specialize in drums and related supplies, appears to be staffed with actual drummer musicians, so they can really focus on just those needs. It was a great shopping experience.
