Two weeks ago, we purchased a very nice used studio piano from Graves. Our salesman was Michael…read moreSpain. He was friendlv, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. While we were waiting for some additional information on the instrument, we were greeted by other Graves associates. All were very friendly and engaging. When the piano was delivered late last week. we noticed that the pedals made a loud squeaking noise We called Michael and he scheduled piano technician Francis to visit us within two business davs. She, too, was very friendly and knowledgeable of her craft. Then toniqht, Michael Spain called us to inquire our overall satisfaction with the repair and the piano. What Wonderfu customer service Graves Piano provides, both before and after the sale. We woulc highly recommend considering Graves should you ever decide to purchase or service a piano.

My experience with Graves Piano was top-notch from beginning to end. I received a great price (well…read morebelow MSRP/SMP) on a brand new Estonia L210 grand piano with very little negotiation. Mike, the sales manager, is just about the most gracious and genuine person you can imagine. He made me feel like I was the only customer who mattered from start to finish. I received my piano (I live 4 hours away from the shop) within 10 days of the sale (would have been even sooner had it not been for an unexpected ice storm). The service after the sale was just as superb -- some minor issues with action regulation and the sostenuto pedal were handled immediately and without hesitation by Zach, the store owner. I highly recommend Graves Piano to anyone in the market for a new piano.

This is the second year we've sent my son to one of the summer camps at Math Plus. Last year he did…read morea half-day programming camp, and this year he went for a full-day Lego robotics camp. Both experiences were very positive - he came home full of excitement about what he'd done at camp and inspired to continue working on programming at home. (To be honest, he was already pretty excited about building Legos at home, but the robotics part has given him a new focus.) The teachers are clearly experienced at dealing with kids and are actually full-time teachers during the school year, which was a huge plus for me. I was concerned that the people running the camp might just be college kids on break, but this was clearly not the case.

It's okay for him to be excited about math and learning whereas at school he sometimes feels singled out for liking math. The homework is never too challenging and there is plenty of time to complete it before the next week. His class size is only 7 or 8, including him, and he receives plenty of one-on-one attention. As a parent, I appreciate that I don't have to continually sign him up for a new term. Once you sign up for a class, it's an ongoing schedule of classes, that continue through the summer. I'm looking forward to him having interactions with a classroom setting and mathematics classwork during the break. I think having this experience will allow him to stay sharp with his skills. It is pricey, but I believe well worth it. It's a skill that will much more needed throughout his life than knowing how to throw a baseball.
