Being an American born Asian I've faced these micro aggressions throughout my life, but the undertones here imply something else. How's that for my exotic Asian English?

The repair work was just stellar: it's like a new horn rather than a century old one. So went back for the other major repair I need done because I know it will be done right. Eventually. The lead times are excessive. I waited vastly too long the first time. Since long lead times and occasional delays are part of dealing with in-demand craftspeople, my expectations and preparation were such that this issue weights somewhat lightly on my judgement of the business.

Well, after getting there and looking at my statement I realized that I was not given an ultrasonic and instead a Chem clean. This completely ruined the way the horn looked and they didn't bother to remove the streaking. I also noticed that the fin was coming apart which I would have assumed would be a part of the general repair. Overall just really disappointed with what I got because it's going to be a lot of work to get the horn looking good. It plays well but it just wasn't what I had asked for

The showroom holds an unbelievably extensive selection of beautiful Yamaha instruments, which are the best around. Whether you are looking for a beginning model for a young student or an upgrade for an experienced pianist, there will be a model there that is just right. I went in not sure exactly what model I wanted and Kyle spent a great deal of time with me, carefully explaining the features of each---then left me alone to try them to my heart's content, which is completely the opposite of the experience I had at the other major piano showroom in Columbus. I was treated with as much courtesy and priority looking for a mid-priced digital as I saw them treat someone looking for a top of the line grand. You could tell each customer is important to them. I am beyond pleased with my purchase at Solich of a new Clavinova and know that I bought it from the best possible place. I'll be a customer for life!

Vaughan Music Studios likely has the most premiere mixing environment of any facility I've seen. I had the pleasure of touring the music lessons spaces, performance hall, and studio at Vaughan, with Cindy Vaughan, who owns and manages the ins and outs. Lookout for this place in the future- as it seems likely to become a staple in Columbus' music education and music scene as a whole.

Columbus is fortunate to be able to claim a resource such as this one.

The class routine is pretty consistent, but the type of music changes every several weeks. Currently, they're doing a world music series. Previously, it was jazz, for example. They sing a welcome song, learn solfège and rhythm patterns, and sing a song with egg shakers to practice rhythm. After they have an instrument of the day (drums, voice, guitar, bells, etc) followed by open instrument play/ exploration. Then, out come the scarves for dancing at various speeds or pretending to be different animals to the music. To wrap up, they sing a lullaby to little stuffies to calm down before singing the goodbye song. It's organized chaos, and it's awesome!

I started 30 min lessons weekly in Feb 2020. Thanks to COVID19 my lessons are now virtual through Zoom - and may remain that way for some time. Cost - I like that my rate is monthly ($138/month) and I have flexibility on their app to adjust my lesson as needed, to cancel or even book a makeup before/after my current sessions so I could take 1 hour total. For the time I get, I feel its a good price. Performance opportunity - back in June there was even a Zoom student recital, where I performed a song I was working on. It was all other adult students (and not children- but they have recitals for them as all) and included a variety of disciplines like Piano, Voice, and Guitar so made for a really nice concert. I hear more opportunities like this may arise and has been really fun to invite friends/family from afar into my voice concert because it's virtual and not in person. As an adult student, Regan Tackett has been incredible and I couldn't recommend her more. Not just for the motivation but for really working with me and pushing me vocally to grow. She has also offered great advice on other songs she thinks might fit my range. When I finally get my kids involved they will go to her as well. Can't recommend her more.

It's great. Picked up some sticks online, but Columbus Precussion has a huge selection too if you need some.
