I used to get Charleys a lot when it first opened up. However given the mall has been dying down with the stores choices lately, I hardly come here anymore. In my opinion, it's still pretty good. I like that their sandwiches are small, medium and large so if you get a small, it's like the perfect size if you are someone like me that never finishes fully a sandwich. The fries are pretty alright too. In my opinion I mean they're not out of this world, but they're not bad either. The lemonade I will say is really sweet and a little expensive you pay like almost 5 bucks for a small. Which with the prices of everything nowadays it's not super expensive but meh. Service was relatively fast. I I do like how their sandwich is specifically the veggies always taste fresh. There's some other spots that you can tell the vegetables have been sitting there for a while. There's a lot of seating obviously because it's the mall. If you want somewhere quite just get to go. Charley's currently has a deal where you can get a chicken sandwich and fries for $7.99 which I thought was pretty decent . read more

I wasn't entirely sure on what to get at first, but the owner and staff here were so kind and helpful. They offered a few different options that were the most popular, and I ended up going with the steak Philly cheesesteak. The food was pretty good and I was able to share it with my partner. I come to Charlie's subs every single time I'm at the mall as it reminds me of my home town, and I usually love the reminiscence of that, as well as the food. have not had an issue previously in the many times I've been here, but today was a different story. I have no choice but to assume it was because I was decked out in pride regalia having just come from pride. when ordering, I asked for my fries extra crispy, like usual, and they had an issue with it when I sent them back asking for them to be recooked. when it was time to pick up the order and asking if it was our order we were confronted with a different person who has the audacity to say, you placed your order you should know what it is. we did in fact know what we ordered, but did not want to take someone else's. Sadly, no tip, and i will probably never stop here again. that's a shame that a hometown favorite and memory disappears that quickly. Especially for it being a half assed franchised spot that has no reason to truly be a favorite in comparison to its many competitors. you have lost a decent amount of my money in what I would spend on food, as well as being a good tipper. This may not be a clone of the original Philly Cheesesteak, however if you're hungry, the ingredients are fresher than most fast food places, made to order, and the staff is friendly. Be sure to get the banana peppers and or jalapeños, they add the acid to the sandwich, otherwise it will be fairly bland as there is no particular seasoning that I can taste. The best thing in the menu are the "Gourmet Fries" with jalapeño peppers. And I'm a person who never likes fries with stuff on it because I'd rather have crispy fries. In this case the blend of ranch, bacon, cheese, and jalapeños is a magic combination. This is excellent. Better than the sandwich. The staff is friendly. All in all it's a decent meal. A bit over priced but I suppose fresh food made to order with friendly staff makes up for the cost in this case. read more

My brother and I went here this afternoon to get him something to eat. First of all the staff was rude to begin with, just because we were standing in the wrong spot to order, and second it was very loud, and hard to hear especially when we are back to wearing masks. I understand that it's clearly hard to hear especially in a fast food environment, but the way the manager spoke to my brother was not ok. My brother had trouble hearing the cashier, so the manager behind him yelled at my brother about what size he wanted for his meal, with a strict attitude, leaving my brother feeling uncomfortable and unsure if he even wanted to eat there anymore, Once we got his food he starting to eat it and the manager kept staring at us and it made him totally loose his appetite, and feel extremely uncomfortable. Another factor I noticed about the manager is wouldn't have his mask up all the way, and same with his employees. A lot of them had their masks covering their mouth and not their nose. If you're gonna work in fast food, please be respectful, wear your masks correctly, and speak at a tone that is not so intimidating, especially to children. read more

Too bad by the time I got my Chicken Philly, not only was it a hot visual mess, it was sloppy and soggy making the bun, which was already doughy, practically inedible. Seriously?!?! It looked nothing like the picture on their website and it was half stuck to the wrapper which meant I had to eat it with a fork. The only good thing about this restaurant was their lemonade, made with real fruit. A pleasant surprise. I know this is "Mall" food, but you could step up and realize that presentation is everything. All the top chefs will tell you that "you eat with your eyes". When the food looks bad, you lose the enthusiasm to eat it. Will I eat here again? This is my go to place when I'm in the mood for a buffalo chicken sandwich. I also love their ultimate fries (fries, cheese, ranch, bacon). This visit left a little to be desired. I ordered all the same stuff I normally would but it just wasn't the same. The flavors in the sandwich were a little bland. I almost feel like they needed to use more buffalo sauce. The fries were also a bit of a let down. What I love about the fries at Charlie's is how crispy they are but on this visit they were very soggy. This would have been a 0 if I could leave that rating. The issue here is that the signage clearly shows real sliced beef as an ingredient in their beef subs. You can see the texture of the meat grain in the picture, and the pricing reflects it as well. When the cook started to make the sandwich he threw two Steak Ums on the grill. I said, wait a minute! The sign doesn't show finely pressed ground beef (which is also what Arby's has) - it shows real sliced roast beef. What gives? The manager came out and said - yes this is what corporate sends us. I wrote corporate twice and never received a response. Therefore - this place gets a big fat 0. Had someone actually called me back or gave me a good reason why this was happening I might have given it a 1 or 2, but this is completely unacceptable. read more

I had to return an order where they cooked the vegetables in bacon grease. If you know anything about sanitary practices you know this is bad on many levels.
