And when I received my fries and burger thrown on a metalic tray, my expectations of flavor plummeted to the ground. I must say, however, the V-burger was better than expected. Filled with an Impossible patty, grilled mushrooms and arugula, it was actually good. In my perfect world, Burda would carry vegan cheese also, but I suppose that's too much to ask. Fries were blah, not crispy, not memorable. Just a burger companion, not a burger soulmate. Overall, I might repeat a visit if I'm desperate for hangover food.

Anyone with two working brain cells understands that commercial food photography is one part art…read moreand multiple parts sleight of hand. No one actually believes that a Big Mac, Whopper or an Arby's roast beef sandwich looks nearly as robust IRL as they do when primped and prepared by Madison Avenue illusionists competing for Super Bowl glory. So, the fact that a federal judge is allowing a class action lawsuit to proceed on behalf of some disgruntled customers who were disappointed by the curb appeal of their drive-thru feast at 3am -- seems like the very definition of a frivolous lawsuit run amok. Should buyers of Chanel fragrances seek damages because they look nothing like Natalie Portman or Timothêe Chalamet after bathing in a bottle. What a monumental waste of time, money and energy. Food photography is pure fiction carrying no expectation whatsoever that it represents reality. Maybe, I'm going to down a Whopper or two in protest. Five stars just because.

The cashier was very pleasant and patient with us figuring out what to order as it was our first time going to a Skinny Louie. However, when I tried ordering in person, they weren't able to accommodate my request, even though I've been able to order the same item online without any issues. For that reason, I personally find ordering online to be the more convenient and consistent option.

If you're looking for the best sub that money can buy spend the extra money and go to Jersey Mike's. My favorite sub at Jersey Mike's is the Italian.
