It was a pure mess. I'm a manager myself, and I work in the town center mall as well and after my last experience I told myself I'm not coming back there for awhile, but Keith deserves to be acknowledged. Every time I've been there his vibe is always so pleasant and chill. These kind people are the only reason why I'm giving this place 5 stars. The burger is wrapped in paper which quickly turns into a soggy mess. The tomato's were from a small form tomato made for a salad not a burger. And all stacked to one side. Poor construction. Even after trying to spread them out, Every bite pulls a whole slice off the burger which makes for a bigger mess. The meat itself wasn't bad I guess...greasy, and quantity was good, but it needs seasoning, because it has no flavor. The Shack Sauce they ration out to you is like a mayo with a little ketchup mixed in. Bland and Blah... I love crinkle cut fries but these had a weird artificial taste to me. Even after adding salt they had no taste. Ketchup wasn't enough to make me eat them either. All in all, I got a mediocre double cheese burger and fries for $15, that I would never get again. The staff was cool and the service was fast but Shake Shack is overrated and overpriced in my opinion.

The place is kind of hard, to put together thematically. I get the Miami color scheme but the layout was kind of weird with a bar on the side and a lot of kids drawings on the whole left side of the wall. Prices were "okay" a single party is $7 but if you add cheese and some onions it's $10 which is kind of a large up charge for two things. The cheese is vegan since this is a kosher burger joint. The food was okay, the burger lacked a lot of the depth that I expected from a smash burger. It was just a regular burger, kind of bland. The fried Onions were "okay" too, it felt like they didn't bring the oil to temperature before dropping it in so they were soggy and oily. The service I got was good though, the girl explained everything and was really nice. I did leave a tip even though I honestly don't think they should be asking for tips for a place where you have to clean up after yourself and all they did was bring it out. Which is Panera bread level of service.

The grilled dog really was quite long. He requested mustard and chopped onions on it. The crinkle cut fries were well done. He liked both more than enough to say he'd order this again. I got their small (7") cheesesteak sandwich. I didn't get it as a combo -- knowing I'd be stealing some fries from my husband's plate). Instead of onions, I got it with mushrooms and sweet green peppers. And I chose provolone for my cheese. The bread was packed with grilled steak. I really liked my cheesesteak! It was a tad greasy and absolutely delicious. The only thing I would do differently next time is not get the mushrooms (there are other toppings from which to choose) as they are not fresh, but canned. The sandwich was in a word outstanding served with a sude of the best potato salad, you will ever taste as well as complementary pickles, like the deli of old would do and even some delicious extra bread. I just loved it and I had to bring my wife back for a second visit. This visit was even better than the first. I got an over stuffed two meat sandwich of pastrami and corn beef. It was absolutely wonderful. Same excellent service. There is so much on the menu. I want to try that I will be stopping there pretty much every time I pass by. The free beautiful pickles and the great Cole Slaw are generous, however. My homemade, chicken matzo ball soup was REALLY good. It's not something I have often, and I'm no expert, but yum! You can order noodles instead of a matzo ball in your chicken soup if you prefer. We couldn't resist the dirty fries, french fries covered in grilled pastrami, fried onions, garlic mayo and Russian dressing. I mean, they were fantastic! This was a very pleasant surprise.
