After reading two of the prior negative reviews I thought to myself, these people must have gone to another imposter Schwab branch?! My wife and I have only had positive experiences when dealing with Mary Murphy and her staff. She has accommodated us with hours that would be convenient for us. She has helped us with simple and difficult transactions. Not only is she an excellent financial advisor she is also a kind person. It seems that the one thing the modern world is lacking is patience, people want everything easy and now. The financial world doesn't always work that way. Everyone can have a bad day or two especially when trying to get a new business branch started up as Mary did a few years ago. I have been this branch manager's client for close to ten years and moved with her when she changed companies. My decision was based on how well she protected my money during the 2008 crisis and subsequently grew it over the years and she continues to do so. She is compassionate, strategic and extremely talented, as well as professional and a better than average money manager. Mary Murphy is the best! Very knowledgeable and nowadays you just don't find people who are as willing to help as she is. I've never gotten the type of personal attention that I got with Mary at other brokerages. "Diane G" must have mistaken Mary's branch for another office somewhere else, because she has a very helpful staff and I know she refers clients like myself to the 800 number for help constantly. She must have missed lunch and been late for dinner when she went to see Mary, I don't know how she could have been so cranky in there. I love this branch! The staff is so friendly and helpful. I went to one of the money club events and learned more in one hour then I have in years with my previous advisor and it was for FREE. I made an appointment to move my money to Schwab and was running late due to traffic. They kept the office open until I got there and did not rush me to fill out the paperwork, AGAIN (I left the original paperwork at my office that they sent earlier).
