Brandon was very helpful in providing guidance on selling strategies and gave me a plan to prepare for this recent tax season. Over the year, we also worked on a comprehensive financial plan and even went through important aspects of a first home purchase. Brandon and Diversifi Capital are very easy to work with and provide you with customized content based on your financial planning needs. I highly recommend them!

I love their subscription pricing system as it allows for a monthly payment and relationship build over time, vs a huge lump sum payment that really makes you take a pause. It's pretty brilliant. The team is highly responsive and you can see they have high integrity. I just love this. Onboarding is a challenge if you have many accounts that need to be catalogued, but I have faith they'll improve the process & tools. They offer financial education via video tutorials if that's your thing, but it's not a requirement. The actual consults are organized, efficient, and down to earth in terms of financial vocab. Overall, we're very please and looking forward to working with them for many months to come. Highly recommend!

I had a 1-1 appointment with a financial advisor (Courtney John) in the late afternoon. I showed up for my appointment 5 minutes before my appointment to check in. Right after I checked in, the front desk lady informed me that my advisor had been notified and that she'd be with me shortly. It was an hour long appointment, and I was waiting for the first half an hour with no updates on how much longer I had to wait. I got frustrated and left the place. Now you'd expect that they'd at least give you a courtesy call and follow up, but I got no follow-up call, and no apology for wasting my time and for their poor management. I don't think I can trust this place or their advisors with my money or any financial advice if they can't respect my time, and worse, even acknowledge their mistake. This place is horrible. Don't waste your time and energy here.

Rich Chambers has been managing my money since I was a teenager. I'm in my early 20's now and,…read morethanks to his expertise, can reliably tell an IRA from a hole in the ground. I first worked with Rich when I was looking to open up a savings account. We talked about my priorities and what I might do with the money. He was attentive, listening to my goals -- emergency funds, a new car, a down payment on a house -- and helped me figure out how much I should be saving and how. When I got my first 401k after college, he all but filled out the forms for me. We talked a lot about risk, where I was in my life and career, and took on a pretty risky set of options. When the economy collapsed and he could tell I was stressed about my barely started retirement fund taking such a hard hit, he kindly reminded me "Don't open your statements". Excellent advice for someone who won't be touching the account for another forty years. When I left the job that gave me the 401k, he coached me on setting up a rollover account so I could avoid the nasty fees ING wanted to charge. I still haven't completed the forms on that, but I promise it's on my to-do list. My grandfather died two years ago and I received an inheritance as a result. I'm looking forward in the coming months to investing that money, tapping on Rich's expertise. I was very good at saving before I started to work with Rich, but all my money was languishing in a random Wells Fargo savings account that gave me .2% a year. Now I feel secure that as I work and save, my money is going to be wisely invested and I'll be able to buy a house someday soon, and retire someday later. Rich has given me a strong sense of empowerment; not only do I know how to save money, I know how to save it well.

Being an investment advisor is difficult since most clients expect to make money and when they don't they are unhappy. Rich helped save me from getting involved in further real estate deals prior to the "mortgage melt down". Although all my real estate continues to do well, it would have been a mistake to have invested in more real estate assets. ICM is reasonable on their fees and uses an approach that allows clients to choose from various risk tolerance portfolios. Most of the options use mutual funds balanced with other investments to better round out a largely unbalance S&P 500 index fund. Further ICM approaches these investment by using low cost or no load funds if possible. Overall, Rich and his people do a great job. I would highly recommend them. Timothy Joyce

What I had in mind was a wholly different world and it's a funny thought, I was expecting a jewelry store with bright lights with glimmer all over the walls but that was just my childhood memories when my dad took me with him to a jewelry store to get something for my mom. I already had some gold and only 1oz of silver but, wanted more and committing to invest in it per month. When getting in, I sat down in a waiting lobby with my wife, we wanted check out our first place to buy precious metals and believed that this place had to be it. We were greeted by Ron, he's an amazing and enthusiastic man to work with. He made it easy to understand when breaking down their website on how it displays the spot prices, and that an American Eagle is an American Eagle when I asked what would affect the value when I mentioned specific things like age, cleaning or rusting and or what Ron told me about oxidation. Today, I was impressed with the service that I had to drag my wife into it from the waiting lobby (haha). I had to make sure that my judgement wasn't too bias on picking clean or some age or oxidized coins. Since I didn't do research on what were the payment methods, I wanted to pay with a credit card to build up cash back but, if it was card, it had to be debit. Ron was great, I'll try to commit visiting monthly here or the one at Fremont for silver and soon gold.

Here's what makes him stand out as a buying agent: He works hard for you and he really cares. He does the research, goes over all the options with us, handholds you through the entire process, connects you with every vendor, lender or partner you'll need along the way, and is always there to make sure the outcomes are successful. He also has great relationship with a lot of agents in the area to provide us with the right information at the right time. Avi cares so much that when we were preparing our house for sale and had moved out, he came to our house almost every single day to make sure things were working and even pulled our trash to the curb for us during a difficult move because he knew we'd forget. We have called him for real estate advice at least a dozen times between our deals. I highly recommend working with him.

And so, when I happened upon an ad for Avi's Silicon Valley Home Buyer Seminar, it piqued my interest. All in all, I found it informative, but not as practical as I had hoped. The first section of the seminar began with Avi teaching us how to be an informed buyer - how to leverage different sources to evaluate market trends from a local and national level. Avi then transitioned to using real numbers to work through explanations about tax laws, buyer leverage, and equity. He also made remarks on capital gain, evaluating buying versus renting, and ROI of different investments. I found these sections helpful, but I definitely could have used a sheet in the folder to define some terms, equations, and acronyms Avi was using. After a break, we were supposed to dive into understanding the current state of the Silicon Valley economy and the how (actual home buying process). Unfortunately, the seminar kind of derailed on the first point spending over two hours talking about the state of Silicon Valley, speculation in investing, and the importance of tech/techies to the market. This is where some facilitation was really needed to have people maybe consult with Avi offline because by the time we got to the "how", we were more than an hour over on time and we only got a super condensed, fast forwarded guide on the mortgage/loan process (~10 minutes). Plus, not being a techie made me feel like an outcast somewhat but I came to a Silicon Valley based seminar so maybe that was expected.... I was definitely hoping for a more end to end roadmap (i.e: calculating how much home you can buy, what to expect in the buying process, home inspections, escrow, etc). All in all, I'd recommend the seminar, but not for someone as green as I was. If there was a more concentrated/focused seminar on first time home buying, I'd definitely welcome a second session.
