9/12/26 10:30 appointment made online. Easy parking, as office is located in medium sized shopping center. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly young chap, who or whom (never sure of that one) noted our appointment, while directing us to the waiting area. Large building, giving it an open feeling, appeared very clean, while being sparely attended this Saturday morning. We were called an directed to an area in the back, where you meet with a customer service rep who services your issue. Ours issue: they had raised our premium $1000.00. This was Duchess territory. I watched in amazement as she gracefully and with some ferocity announced to Carlos, why AAA had got it WRONG! Carlos, who patiently, suffered the slings and arrows of the Duchess wrath, while smilingly tippity tapping on his computer annoucned an $800.00 decrease in our premium. Nice work Duchess! After all she proudly and demurely announced, "I been with this company for 52 years." . . . definitely recommend by the Duchess Oh! And 5 stars to Carlos! read more

I would like to recognize Denise at AAA in Menlo Park for providing exceptional customer service. She was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Denise took the time to thoroughly explain my policy and answer all of my questions, making sure I fully understood my coverage. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made a great impression. This level of customer service is exactly why I continue to recommend AAA in Menlo Park to family, friends, and anyone looking for a reliable insurance provider. Thank you, Denise, for your outstanding service! read more

We are regular visitors to the Menlo Park branch, and I would normally be leaving a 5-star review because the staff here usually provides an excellent experience. The other employees have always been friendly, welcoming, and helpful. HOWEVER , my rating is specifically for today's visit & I want to bring a specific issue to management's attention regarding a recent interaction with an employee named Channing. He set a VERY NEGATIVE TONE from the beginning, offering no greeting or acknowledgment when we approached him. Furthermore, he had an incredibly rude, smart-ass tone for every single question my husband asked, making his responses consistently dismissive and unprofessional. To add to this, he repeatedly pressured us to purchase extra memberships for other family members. Even after we clearly declined, he continued to insist and became visibly unhappy and unhelpful when we stood by our answer. While the rest of the Menlo Park team is wonderful and deserves the 5 stars, Channing's behavior was entirely unacceptable. As members, we expect basic courtesy and should not be treated poorly for asking questions or declining a sales pitch. I highly recommend that local management address this behavior with him specifically, as his service was a stark contrast to the excellent team here. read more

Mom and I went here to renew her handicap pass. The parking lot was empty on a weekday at 1115am. There was a greeter right when you come into the building; he was very nice. Mini offices lined two sides of the main bull pen and lots of seats to sit and stand inside. We expected to wait and were pleasantly surprised how quick it went. Everyone was very nice. Mom commented about our teller being in training, but that's no one's fault. I would come here again. read more

My biggest complaint is that when I was talking to them on the phone a few days before I went, they didn't mention that they had moved! So I showed up at the old location and they were not there! There was a sign announcing that they had moved, but it didn't give the new location!!! So I had to call and wade through the voicemail maze to get a person who could give me their new address! But I have to admit that I prefer the new location. I was always pulling into the wrong driveway at the previous location because the signage was confusing read more

Norma is awesome. She remembered our conversation from months ago and helped me. She was quick to respond and friendly.

Quick, good and cheap. It can be done! Would recommend to anyone with a car. Yelp is annoying and requires more characters...

Very helpful and courteous. Went above and beyond to accommodate us. Great communication and support among staff.

I come here every couple of years to have my international drivers license made before going abroad. I'm not a member, but they are very courteous and usually pretty quick to handle my needs. read more

Surprised to see AAA has a physical presence. Big office, friendly crew. The position and parking are a bit awkward and the room is very dark. But overall good experience. read more

Quick and solid service --highly recommended --just go for it !!! Great folks !!! Don't waste time elsewhere !

The parking is shared with Trader Joe's and a bunch of other small businesses so it does get a bit packed. Walking in, there was a wait- I was a bit nervous as a woman was loud and shouting at the employees that she had been waiting a long time and was getting impatient as people were being called before her. I checked in at the front, took a seat and no later than 4 minutes I was called to the front. I came in to transfer the title of my car, and the gentleman at the front was so helpful and quick! Honestly it was painless and cost $23! It was amazing! I can't recommend heading in the this branch as the employees know exactly what they're doing! Please be patient, there's people who assist with different things- from transferring titles, helping with registration, etc. So you'll be called in the order to which person can help you quickest read more

Friendly staff but absolutely useless for out-of-state title transfers. They cannot give you the VIN-verification paperwork to take to the DMV (only good for title transfers at AAA apparently) and were unable to complete OAS title-transfer for a pickup truck. Unfortunately I wasted a full day off work at this AAA with no progress made. read more

Ah AAA. That last bastion for paper maps (Who remember the trip tic?) and expedited DMV services. I have had a long history with AAA, dating back to when I was 16 years old and I had just gotten my drivers license. My dad handed me a AAA card and said, this was an important part of being a driver and you just never know. While I still pull paper maps for trips (and lets face it, cell phone coverage is still not 100%), the real gem is the DMV services. Its simply way faster to get your DMV stuff done here. You still may have to wait but its a fraction of the time. That being said its not a 100% coverage of what a DMV office can do so check the website to make sure that you can get done what you need to get done here. But to register or renew plates its super convenient and they give you the tags right then and there. The maps became very handy when we ventured into the center of Puerto Rico. My teen became unglued that we had no cell phone coverage thus no navigation. "Let me introduce you to a friend of mine, I call him MAP". We had a somewhat painful teaching session (anybody with a teen will understand) but hopefully in the end he got it LOL Parking can be tight and they do not have a ton of spots. read more

Little wait time and I was able to get an international drivers license in twenty minutes for a European trip.

After a recent used car purchase, the dread of visiting the DMV loomed large. Knowing that AAA offered registration services, I ponied up the membership fee to save time and annoyance. The folks at the Menlo Park branch exceeded expectations! As a walk in, the wait was short. My representative was competent and friendly. And, they handed me new plates once the paperwork and fee were completed. Excellent all around! Highly recommend the location. read more

This might sound like a trivial matter but the Menlo Park ,Ca office is rather cold inside. I'm a senior citizen and comfort is important for me when dealing with insurance issues. There is no reason for me to be uncomfortable. Other than that the building atmosphere and especially the staff are excellent I do appreciate having AAA as my provider. Just turn up the heat.... read more

I needed to change my insurance and to speak to a Menlo Park agent. Previously this has worked out. Not anymore. I spent about 40 minutes getting run around through various options, none of which connected me to AAA in Menlo Park. I finally found a direct line to their office. Alas, it was to the person's answer machine. I left a message explaining my particular need. It has been three days, and my somewhat urgent message has received no reply. So, I have switched to another insurance company. I was a AAA customer for about 30 years and have seen its service decline, this was the last straw. read more

They are friendly and always have a person waiting by the entrance to help you and guide you where you need to go. I was there for renewing my car registration. Such a great benefit, so I don't have to go to the DMV. The wait to see the DMV assistance is usually always under 15 minutes. read more

Wow... I purchased my auto insurance, face-to-face, from a real human being, Steve Boler. He was very nice. We chit-chatted. He had photos of his family on his desk. He gave me his card with his email address. Also, he took extra care to give me a great rate. Later, when I had a problem, I emailed Steve, and he resolved my problem quickly. What a wonderful experience! read more

I've been a customer of CSAA and their road service for over 20 years. Today after the pandemic my car battery is dead. I have a new charged up battery ready to go and tried to change it, but the previous battery is stuck in the battery box of my car. I worked to pull the battery out, but no go, I just cannot get the leverage I need to pull it out. So, after racking my brain, I decided to try AAA road service. The service I have been paying for for over 20 years. What they told me is that they do not provide road service, or battery service. They will jump start my vehicle. and they will go through all the steps to remove and replace my battery - but ONLY if I buy a AAA battery. I have bought their AAA batteries twice before and they last about half as long as a regular battery. When they first offered this service the batteries were priced high, but reasonable for the service they provided, but today buying a AAA battery is paying 3 times as much for 1/2 the battery. Even though they have to go through the same procedure, in fact even less work, they will not help me to remove my battery. They will send someone out to jump start the battery and test it, but in a crunch they seem to be extorting me and forcing me to buy an inferior battery for a highly inflated price. How is that road service? How is that battery service. How is that customer service? No matter that I explained that all it would take is their tow-truck technician maybe 1 minute at the most, three different representative of AAA, two were supposedly managers, said that helping their customers was not a service they provide - even when what was entailed was something they would have to do anyway in the course of their jobs. They held the hard line against this just repeating and talking over me with a condescending insulting tone of voice. They ways AAA service in both insurance and road service has degraded and become an extortion racket at this point is not something I can recommend, and honestly have to warn customers against. So, when the technician arrives to help me with a jump start and battery service I will see what he does. Most of the actual road service guys are pretty cool and glad to help, but how far down does this corporation extortion racket go. It is also very odd that my alternative if the technician refuses to help me is to call a tow truck and get a free tow to the service station where I will might have to pay for someone to pull the battery out of my car. It just makes no sense to me, and the attitude and decision making of AAA's representatives is so anti-customer it just astounds me. A customer of over 20 years, and I have the special license plate holders to prove it. In the next cycle I will change my insurance company and never look back, and I advise anyone thinking of doing business with AAA at this point to find another company, or not to expect that AAA will actually think creatively and productively to solve your problems, or theirs - but to always push you to spending significantly more money than need to. AAA - rated 1 or 0 out of 5 stars. UNACCEPTABLE, anti-customer, not creative, not sensible, not able to think outside the box or do anything for the customer of their own autonomy. -- Thanks for pretending you care McKenzie, but right now I am royally pissed at your company, and the last thing i want to do is take this offline. Before this my last experience with Menlo Park CSAA was to go in for a little bit complicated registration of an out of state friend's car but we both use. One reason I went with AAA was for the quick registration ... all I got was - can't do. I knew that had to be wrong, so I drove all the way over the Mtn. View where ... sadly I forget her name ... but I got helped and the registration done and a new sticker. It just hit me how much I dread having to go to the Menlo Park AAA and be disappointed in a new way every time ... at least that is what it seems like. I could go back to the long waits and poor service I've gotten at Menlo Park but I guess until now I just accepted it. And, by the way, when the Tow Truck Driver arrived he was gracious and helpful, cheerful and could hardly do enough to help me get my car up and running. I really thank him for being as cool as those drivers usually are. I get the company has to have boundaries or some customers will get unrealistic expectations ... a long time ago I used to do customer support, so I also know what good customer support looks like. My technician experience was top rate, a lousy contrast to the over half-an-hour on the phone with CSAA road service saying no, no, no, no ... and then telling me it would be two hours before anyone could respond. It was about half and hour. Just a fail on every level of customer service imaginable. read more

I can't recommend AAA Menlo Park enough! Sadly I just moved to Boulder, CO so I'm not longer working with this branch but wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and praise. Hamid Ezzatyar has been the most AMAZING insurance agent over the last few years. He makes dealing with insurance actually enjoyable (and if that isn't a superpower, I'm not sure what is!). He has gone above and beyond to support me through random calls, last minute emails etc. and I am so incredibly grateful for him! Thank you AAA Menlo Park! I appreciate your team so much! read more

Flat tire on a family vacation... while this Branch is not responsible for roadside service... it's where I have been a member for 12 years. I called the 800 # at 9:33 and was told a tow truck would arrive at 10:22. At 11:33 I called confirming my earlier request and was told dispatch would return my call and give me an estimated time of arrival in 15-20 min. I called at 12:10 and was told the file was closed at 11:33 and didn't know why. Yes you will reimburse me for my cost and time... and yes I did call my USAA Roadside service and got the tire changed and dropped off at a tire shop for repair... THATS SERVICE! read more

Friendly and very professional customer service, easy to park very neat facilities highly recommend

I was in need of new registration very quickly. I was leaving a Honda dealership in Palo Alto and I googled AAA locations and I found myself at the Menlo Park branch. I had a wonderful experience there, the representative that I worked with was very professional and even help me save money by adding a member of my family onto my membership account. I was in an out in under 15 minutes and I got what I needed. I highly recommend the DMV services at AAA, they make it very easy to get what you need done with no long lines or wait times. read more

Very busy location and cold inside the office needed to wear a jacket to stay warm inside the office

Absolutely the worst worst worst EVER! If you want any brain damage go to this place. They just refuse to do anything that they are contracted for. I had my daughter to go there to get a duplicate registration for our car in which she is an owner. They refused to even do the slightest thing. All they look for is excuses to not do their job. Do not pay for these services they are absolutely worthless!!!!! read more

Leslie is amazing in customer service. She is super professional and always expedient. She knows what is going on and doesn't take up all your time. The other reps working the counter are painful. We have an embarrassing number of cars and i prefer to renew the registrations in person because of the US mail delivery being so undependable. I'm there several times a month. They see me often yet, there is one person that never recognizes me. She consistently in a loud voice, with several people very near in the waiting area, blasts out my name, address and phone number. AFTER saying that every this is current and correct. She ignored me and still said all my details out loud. I'm a Private person and in this day and age of so much identity theft in careful about my details. They take no steps toward privacy. Leslie is a superstar and now i wait for her every time. read more

Outstanding customer service. Friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't ask for more. What a difference that makes. That's why I stay with AAA.

The Mountain View location is the closest to me, but the crew there is like dealing with the Adams Family at times. So I would drive further to the office in Palo Alto at 430 Forest Street which was like an hidden gem until AAA decided to close it and open a new branch location in Menlo Park. Curiosity got the best of me and went the extra mile to check it out. It is a larger facility than the one that was in Palo Alto and the person that waited on me told me they had been open since Thanksgiving week of 2015! There are about 20 employees at this location and it is a full service facility for AAA Insurance, memberships, and travel assistance. I was there to get some free maps and tour books for an upcoming trip. So when you walk in it is bright and airy open space with a kiosk to direct you to where you need to go. The new facility was designed by Gensler, the San Francisco based firm that designed Facebook Headquarters, Apple Stores and Virgin America's San Francisco Terminal. They are open from 8:30 to 5:30 P.M. Monday through Friday and 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturdays. If you are traveling north on El Camino Real you will have to make a U turn to come back as there is no direct way to turn in going North. The exit takes you to Harvard street. I got great service there and am sure you will too! read more

I will never go to this branch again. they did not follow through to correct my father account after his passing. After me reporting all law documents in order to close my father account. According to AAA can bill or charge after a members. Has passed away. California state law states no foundation or organization can bill a deceased person. It's taking many hours and many calls to find a right person to know state laws. I'm very disappointed with their customer service l. They need more experience employees. I definitely recommend to go some where else. read more

This location is by Boeing and best western. One El Camino Real. Nice open large office. Felt safe a d well staffed.

Excellent customer service by Hamid Ezzatyar, Insurance Agent. Very knowledgable and helpful with understanding the various choices on my auto insurance policy. I had set up an appointment the previous day, and was seen timely with all the information I had provided already loaded and ready for our review. The whole process was quick and easy, with Hamid proving friendly and kind. Great rates as well. I also used the DMV area to register my out-of-state car into California. Wonderful customer service there as well. The whole location was meticulous clean and set up well for distancing. Also appreciate the greeter who welcomed me immediately and made sure I was taken to the right person for each portion of my transaction. I will use this branch again, and will recommend it, especially Hamid Ezzatyar, to others. read more

Fairly new AAA. Easy peasy DMV services. Very clean bathrooms with auto water at the sinks that weren't putting out water today. I went in without an appointment to renew my vehicle registration and to update my membership. I was greeted warmly at the door, and waited a short time to see an advisor. The AAA advisor was professional, kind, patient and took care of my issues. I'm sorry I didn't get her name as she is excellent at her job, and I really appreciate her help. When I left, the Greeter even opened the door for me to exit; very courteous. From my experience I highly recommend this branch of AAA. read more

My family has had AAA insurance since 1991. At the time I didn't realize how good they were since I was still a kid.
