Cental location with quick and easy parking, perfect for painless DMV registration services.

Thank god for AAA and Howie Do! All the technicians I've had were great but Howie outshined them all! He was so nice and even checked my battery and more! read more

This review is for Hamid, who has been very responsive and helpful for me and my fiance for a while now. But recently, Hamid went above and beyond in a way that I felt was review-worthy. I had some trouble with my car (have to be vague for certain reasons) so I called him, and even though it was his day off and he was hanging out with his friend, he took the time to go home, get on his computer, and sort out the issue I was having. It would've been a much more complicated situation without his help. I can only speak highly of my experience with AAA thanks to Hamid. read more

I was seriously in arrears in my car registration payments. The AAA branch could not waive the late fees, but she explained in much detail and in very friendly manner how to avoid them in the future. Thus she made me feel good about a bad situation. I felt glad I took the trip to the AAA branch: it beats the alternative of waiting in line at a DMV office, etc. read more

Worked with Warren for about 20 years - always super helpful, knowledgable & professional. Highest recommendation!

AAA is an absolute blessing when it comes to DMV services. I used to go to the DMV and waste an entire day just to get the simplest tasks done. I've been using AAA for my DMV needs for the past year and the difference in customer service between the two is just unbelievable. read more

this is the best office even. Clinton is great and John in the front are great. The best thing here is the DMV services and location.

I came here instead of DMV as they offer some DMV services. The good - they were very friendly and there was no wait to be helped. The place is comfortable and relaxing unlink the immediate stress at DMV. The bad - once I was helped the agent spent the first 5 minutes trying to up sell me on other AAA services. I think she was following a script or checklist and it was a bit off putting. Overall though - way easier than DMV - though be sure to check in advance what service you need as they don't do all the DMV stuff. read more

Walked in without an appointment to transfer our license plates to a new car. Waited two minutes, just enough time to grab a free cup of coffee from their gourmet coffee machine. So much easier than waiting in line and dealing with the DMV. Office is modern and welcoming. Staff was helpful and friendly. read more

Great service and beautiful office. Came in, registered at the front, and was able to sit and work while waiting about 5 mins to be helped. At my other branch in San Mateo, I've stood in the DMV line for over an hour since they don't have a queue system. Was able to transfer title, renew my membership, add a member, and complete required paperwork in 15 mins start to finish. This is why I pay for AAA! Also got s free cup of keurig coffee. Great experience. read more

I recently went to this AAA office for a DMV transaction. From the time I walked to the door the customer service far surpassed any AAA experience I've ever had! When I got to the door I realized that I had left something in my vehicle. I turned around and by the time I took two or three steps a woman was popping open the door asking if I needed help. How kind was that!! I informed her that I left an item in my car and with a bright smile she said okay, I was just checking. Wow! From that point on everyone was so kind, professional and attentive. I will definitely utilize this service again should the need arise. That experience right there made my whole membership worth it!! Forgot to mention, my DMV transaction took less than 10 minutes. Impressive! read more

First time visit this place for title transfer and insurance. Before I go I checked yelp, and was surprised to see the poor review of this place. I was unsure if I should go after reading the posts. To my big suprise, the place is quite opposite to the poor review. The building is great designed and the employee there are so nice and patient, I had a extremely pleasant time here. It is my first time writing a yelp review, because I feel I want to correct the false impression of the place. read more

Thank you Menlo AAA for making my vanity plate change easy and super stress free. No line, very friendly staff, clean as a whistle during Covid times, and in and out in maybe 5 minutes. Always parking available, massive store front, and recommended to get the necessary job done. read more

Saves so much time!!! I love going to the Menlo Park office to do my business there rather than calling or using the internet. I get my needs met by a kind, informative staff. I had help reducing my cost, which was helpful. I like to do registration here, and other things. All folks are cheerful and very considerate. Highly recommend AAA for car insurance...I have had a couple of claims and they are absolutely super! read more

I've known Warren for many years and he has proven to be a great and honest agent. Always looking to help and provide top notch service. He is very prompt at returning calls, etc, regardless of nature. I highly recommend him for your insurance needs. AAA, I feel, is one of, or possibly, the best of the big name insurance companies as I have had experience with most of them-some good, some bad. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Saved me a ton of time with the car registration renewal. They issue the sticker and receipt right there.

Don't ever buy or purchase car battery on AAA. They are a big scammer. If something goes wrong with it and they don't put a new battery but only a recondition or refurbish one. And they claim its brand new. We called them to come and fix and its supposed to be under warranty and only one month ago bought from them. Now by calling them to fix it we have to pay the price again for another service call and that it should be use only along road side assistance.. That's f....up read more

Cecilia Hageman helped me with my auto insurance plan when I moved to California. She has explained about the plan details and answered all my questions. I feel very good about working with her and wanted to recommend her to you. You are going to be in good hands. read more

Understaffed and slow. Apparently this location is almost entirely staffed to support insurance and doesn't care about member services. Three only agent here for member services has been selling roadside assistance to a single customer for the last twenty minutes as the queue waiting just gets longer and longer. If you need service, avoid the Menlo Park office. read more

I called to AAA company to request for jumping! They told me if I don't have a membership they will not service me. I said ok, then open me membership. They told me that I can not use my membership for 7 days and they said that they will transfer me to another operator that will help me. Then new operator said me exactly the same thing that previous operator. They were transferring me to 5-6 operators, then last operator just drop the phone off. They peace me off. read more

I worked with this AAA before the branch is relocated from downtown Palo Alto to Menlo Park. The branch used to be great - responsive staff, reasonable insurance premium and friendly service. Nowadays I can barely get hold of my insurance agent for both insurance payment and renewal quote. When I was trying to pay for my renter's insurance this August, I sent an email to schedule a phone conversation so that I can pay my bill via the phone to save some time and effort to visit a local branch. But unfortunately no response at all - I ended up joining the long line in a SF AAA branch. This time when I am about to renew my auto insurance, I reached out again to obtain an updated quote - no response for days before his assistant sent me the renewal quote with higher and higher premiums year after year. I replied back to try to get more sense about the quote, especially why the price goes up again despite the fact that I have no claims of any sort or any traffic violations and my car is in great shape. Guess what? No response from them at all for over a week... I am not happy with my experiences at all and I will not be renewing with AAA this time. read more

Someone mentioned to me that I should try using AAA instead of going in to the DMV to do a title transfer. I'd forgotten about this benefit and was hopeful it would be quicker and more convenient than the extended wait I knew would await me at the DMV. This location doesn't have the best parking situation (though it's okay), but everything else was great. The office is very clean and modern. Could maybe use a few more chairs for waiting, but overall is excellent. The front door staff was helpful without being pushy and got me on the waiting list right away. While there was a bit of a wait (probably 20-25 minutes in the end), that was far better than showing up at the DMV was going to be, and it was much more pleasant. When my name was called, the agent was very helpful and informative, taking care of all the paperwork with little hassle. It turned out that I was actually short a form, but she still completed the application provisionally and let me know where I could go to get the final paperwork and that they were open on Saturdays if I wanted to stop in the next day. I ended up being able to get back to the AAA that same day, and both the greeter and the agent remembered me and got me all set and squared away. If you can get your DMV service handled at an AAA, I highly recommend it. And if you happen to be close by the Menlo Park office, you'll be well taken care of. read more

Went in about a couple weeks ago and I don't know how this place has only 3 stars! Customer service was awesome. Norma was the agent who helped me out and she made me feel extremely satisfied with my purchase. Also Maria(I'm sure was her name) from the DMV was nice enough to help me last min. Thank you! read more

I stopped in at AAA in Menlo Park just now to grab a state map of NE, and Maria helped me right away! She was very pleasant and handed me exactly what I needed, in less than 2 minutes. Fantastic! Thank you Maria! read more

I'm not one to rave about insurance but Warren Eide at AAA Menlo Park is the best! Not only does he bring his former law enforcement experience to the table but he is efficient, accurate, kind, and always works hard to save me money. Today his day started at 7:30am and he just helped me finish a tricky part of my renewal at 6:30pm and he skipped lunch to be helping customers! After 4+ years with Warren and AAA Menlo Park I know what getting insurance should be all about. read more

This place almost makes me want to go directly to the DMV and cancel my membership and switch insurance companies. Every time I have called in, shown up, or really needed anything from their new location that their old location had no trouble providing for me this one seems to fail miserably. AAA step your game back up or this mechanic, his cars and customers WILL be recommended to go elsewhere for the same service. read more

This office is terrible. It is not just one agent. I have had my insurance through AAA for more than 15 years and have never used it. I recently wanted to increase my coverage so came in. The first agent never followed through with my request. The second agent never emailed me back after my request was processed. I came in today and had to wait over 30 minutes to make a payment as I needed a receipt. Honestly the service is horrific even when you are trying to give these people money! I can only imagine how bad it is if you actually have a claim. I am going to look into other options for coverage for my home and auto. read more

There's nothing worse than a paperwork problem with a car. This one had an Oregon title and a California registration. Why, I'll go to AAA, they'll solve it. AAA that easy-to-get-to office in Palo Alto is now in Menlo Park and is not so easy to get to. But, the same nice guy is at the door to steer you in the right direction. The DMV desk is inadequately staffed with inadequate people who are poorly managed. On the second trip we were told that the folks at AAA could not solve the problem, and to go to the DMV. Thanks for the waste of time. read more

I recently switched all 3 of my vehicles to AAA auto insurance and have had a great experience! My agent, Norma, was very helpful every time I went in for insurance services. After a conversation regarding my insurance needs, Norma went through additional insurance options that would be beneficial to me. We went forward with other opportunities that bring my life more security. She not only focused on vehicle needs, she also focused on all my insurance needs overall. Norma is a very professional agent, and has been extremely easy to reach and work with. I strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking into AAA. This review rating is completely focused on my experience with my agent. I think the woman seated at the entrance can be a little more welcoming and nicer to AAA clients. read more

DMV services at the AAA in Menlo Park were great! It is sad that our state government can't better organize the DMV so that conducting business at the DMV is not impossibly hard. That said, the AAA makes it easy to perform tasks like "title transfers" with no hassle. The DMV services staff member that I encountered yesterday was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. Too bad the AAA can't deliver DMV Real-IDs. read more

I have had absolutely fantastic and uniformly positive experiences with AAA Menlo Park for the past 30 years now. In particular, their agent Warren Eide has provided my entire family (including wife and two children) great personalized service for decades. This includes help with our auto insurance, home insurance, umbrella insurance, as well as many other situations that have arisen over the years. Warren is amazingly responsive and thorough, and his knowledge of insurance issues impressive and helpful. I have also referred him to many of my colleagues and friends, who have had similar positive experiences. I recommend him very highly and without any reservation. Roderick Kramer read more
