I'm vegetarian (and food options can sometimes be slightly hit-or-miss), but the food Matt served for each meal was just soooo flavoursome and delicious. On our last night, Matt made such a huge effort and threw us a little party with a fire-pit along with dinner and drinks (with the help of his lovely son George) and it was such a brilliant evening. 10/10 and would highly recommend

The booking process was easy and if we had any questions Matt came back with an answer straight away, the day of the BBQ there was plenty of delicious meats, salads and bread rolls and we could have fed another 20 people. Matt's attitude and customer service was second to none, really attentive and could not do enough for us, and would not accept any help when it came to clearing everything away. Regardless of the typical British BBQ weather (rain, hail, snow and sunshine) everyone really enjoyed their lunch. A massive thank you to Matt and his team @ Shropshire Hills Catering. Would recommend this company to all. Thank you again Matt, will certainly be using your services again in the future.

No.), and no member of staff knew how it worked either; the plughole in the sink didn't work properly and there was a dirty towel. Oh - and none of the staff knew how the door locks worked (fyi: you pull the handle UP to lock it). While we sat at breakfast a man from another room complained that his toilet was not attached to the floor! Haha - oops. Hmm. It's a shame because the location is lovely and they're getting the food and ambience part so right. I'm intrigued as to how they got five AA stars.

I…read moreused to go there quite often (we're talking like 15 years ago) and I have to say it's not as good as I remembered it to be. I asked for garlic mayonnaise with my bacon and salad sandwich and the lady making the sandwich clearly didn't know which condiment pot the garlic mayo was in so she literally stuck her nose in the pot to check if it was garlic which was most off putting to say the least! Also I ordered two sandwiches and I'm not sure if she had some kind of dementia but I had to repeat every single ingredient of both sandwiches, sometimes twice, and then when we got to the till she had to ask me what I had ordered! The filling on the bacon sandwich was a bit sparse and the bacon wasn't as crisp as it should of been, the other sandwich however (crayfish) was packed to overflowing so perhaps I was just unlucky. The sandwich that I had was nice but nothing special, it just didn't have that premium quality feel that I always associated with Brunches. On the plus side the prices are reasonable for freshly made sandwiches and they have an excellent selection of ingredients and breads which you can combine in any way you like so your sandwich is exactly as you want it. I'd recommend them if you just want a quick bite to eat and you're bored of Pret or ready made sandwiches.

That being said I have never used the golf course, driving range or spa. I have though ate eaten at the restaurant and used the gym facility. Overall the Wyboston is a solid resort/hotel. The rooms are always very clean, the staff is very proper, polite and helpful and the amenities are a bonus. Additionally their prices are very fair and have always been able to accommodate us. I will add one note, the last time I was there I mentioned that I was vegan and asked if they had anything else that I could eat for breakfast other than toast, fruit and potatoes. The and vegan sausages they heated up for me every morning and I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate my diet. I have not eaten at the restaurant in years so I do not recall what options they have but they do like all great places in the UK have a good cold beer selection and plenty of gin. Look forward to my next trip over.

I was here for an evening event and I must commend the staff here, they were all very friendly and helpful, With the exception of the desk staff at the entrance. It was a pretty frosty greeting from them, and a real lacking of helpful information in finding where I was going along the never ending snaking corridors of Whittlebury Hall. If you get the chance, see if you can find the letters that Princess Diana wrote that are framed in the lobby area. A little slice of history there. I still prefer the F1 stuff though! I came here during December, so I am commenting about this place in a slightly off-peak time. I can imagine that it gets to be absolutely bedlam when Silverstone is in full flow during the summer. I stay in the Premier Inn Northampton Town Centre on Swan Street almost on a weekly basis for work…read more I've stayed in other Premier Inn hotels all across the country for work and am quite loyal to the brand. Pros: * City Centre Based * Majority of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. * Rooms are nice, spacious and modern * Usual small TVs have been replaced with decent Large Flat Screen TVs (Although awkwardly placed above the desk) * Food isn't too bad Cons: * Mobile Signal Blackspot - it seems impossible to get a signal in majority of the rooms in the hotel. Which when they don't have phones in the room is pretty frustrating. A small card is left on the desk to call reception if you need anything however with no signal this is pointless. * Cleanliness - I'm not sure if i'm just unlucky but when you practically live in hotels you notice the cleanliness more. I've routinely had to complain about the attention to cleaning. Regularly I find hairs all over the bath/shower as well as marks on the pillow cases. I've also come back to the room after work to find its also not been serviced.
