Someone recommended this salon and I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you about my experience. The salon is very nice inside. Very clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming. First I got my pedicure. I got a spa pedicure with an extra massage. The massage was so relaxing and it didn't feel rushed. My toes look great. I just got basic pink nails but they're perfect. I wish I remembers the girls name but I don't I'm sorry. Next was my manicure. I had Jessie. I needed to get my old nails taken off and the last salon I went to filed them down so much that they started to hurt. So I told Jessie that my nails were thin and please be careful. She was so careful and went nice and slow so I didn't feel pain. She cleaned up my cuticles so nice. Applied the UV gel very neatly. No bubbles or running over onto my nails. Jessie had another client so Yuki took over. She finished filling them down and I told her I loved how the filed nails looked and she said she could paint them to look like that. I trusted her and they are the exact color I've always wanted and no one could ever replicate. These are by far the best nails I've ever had and the best experience. This is a long review but I just wanted to explain why everyone should give this salon a try.

I didn't even realize how intense and uncomfortable my first one was until I came here and experienced what a tattoo appointment should feel like. Rob, the owner and the artist who did my tattoo, was incredible. From the minute I walked in, the vibe was relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely chill. There was absolutely no pressure at any point--it felt more like hanging out with friends than sitting through something intimidating. That alone took away so much of the pain and nerves. Everyone in the shop is super friendly, understanding, and accommodating. Conversation was flowing the entire time, to the point where I didn't even look at a screen once--I was just fully comfortable and distracted in the best way. And on top of the experience, the tattoo itself came out amazing--clean, beautiful, and exactly what I wanted (if not better). I decided to get a double lobe and navel piercing for my birthday and was not comfortable getting…read moreit done by a male piercer (most in my area are men) so I decided to come here. I submitted an online inquiry, booked my appointment online detailing what I was looking for and filled out a consent form. Again, my booking says lobe and navel. I get there and get greeted by Jessica with "you're here for the tongue and eyebrow piercing?" -- Whoa... nope! We eventually move to the piercing room (wildly uncomfortable plastic chairs that belong in a backyard, not a tattoo/piercing shop) and begin to mark my ears for the lobe piercings. I didn't love that the marks were so far from my existing piercings so I asked for them to be adjusted. They adjusted it, I approved. Finally they pierced them. The piercings were UNEVEN. I had to let the further one close so I could get it pierced again in the proper place. The navel piercing is fine in terms of being centered but my skin reacted poorly to the original jewelry and didn't start to look normal until I was allowed to change it out months later. Most notably I was hoping that whoever did my piercing would be at least somewhat personable but instead Jessica barely looked at me and or spoke to me outside of a regurgitated spiel about keeping the piercings clean and minimizing infection. It was delivered so quickly and monotone that it sounded like the bleak side effects portion of a medication advertisement. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to be spoken at instead of to, be forced to wear the ugliest starter jewelry (that's also next to impossible to remove) or to get uneven piercings. In the end I spent $120 total tip not included with plain starter jewelry. In retrospect I think that's kind of insane

I went back (yes 3x in 1week) and this time I met Dean, the sweetest person you can tell and feel his passion for piercing. Him and Natalie were both eager to help bring my vision to life by helping me find the perfect pieces. Dean took his time made sure it was perfect and it sure was he exceeded my expectations !! came into work realizing i was having a piercing emergency.. a rather sensitive piercing had fallen…read moreout and was at risk of closing up. not being familiar with the local spots, i called around town and house of color stood out right away. the front desk folks were super friendly, understanding, and open to a walk-in. i stopped by in person about an hour later, and they took the time to really listen to my concerns and what i needed. dean, one of the piercers, helped me out.. incredibly accommodating and easy to talk to. though i haven't had my original piercing or any tattoos done here, i'd definitely consider it based on this experience alone.
