Based on the food pictures and first three reviews, I was sold. I had to go. As Rose's Tacos is right in Downtown Fayetteville it was super easy to find and there was ample parking. As it was a Saturday night, the natural flow of the block added to the vibrant vibe that was coming out of Rose's Tacos as the e door opened and closed. I was already excited before even walking inside. Once inside, the sign advised us to seat ourselves so we sat at the bar. Rose's Tacos is super vibrant, very bright, and has an ambiance that fits date night as well as family night. No matter the tone you are looking to fit, Rose's Tacos is a win. Deciding to sit at the bar, we walked in, headed to our left and took a seat. Once at the bar, the bartender greeted us with a smile, welcomed us to Rose's Tacos, and provided us with menus. Rose's Tacos has a broad selection of food. Though it is a Mexican restaurant, there are a few American favorites on the menu. LoL!!! After taking a moment going back and forth on what I wanted as there were sooooooo many appealing options, I decided on a Steak Burrito with Fries and a Sweet Tea. Simple yet intricate. As we waited, the bartender delivered the complimentary Chips and Salsa and they set the tone for my tongue-readiness. LoL! The chips were crunchy and fresh. Not too salty yet salty enough. The salsa was flavorful and smooth with the right amount of chunkiness. Oh yes, Rose's Tacos understands the importance of a good Chip and Salsa to set the food tone. Once my food was ready and I could see the waitress walking it over, I felt my stomach smile. Haha!!! The playing was simple yet pretty and the food smelled amazing. The scents alone captured the attention of my taste buds and forced them to pay attention to what was on my plate. The Steak Burrito was filled with fresh ingredients, robust flavors, and perfectly done meat. The meat to fixins ratio was spot on and the grilled-ness of the shell married everything together so well. I'm talking Burrito perfection. The fries were well done just as I had requested and were golden brown, perfectly salted, and paired perfectly with the burrito. I mean geesh. What a better way to end a Friday night then with a great meal from Rose's Tacos! All is all, my experience at Rose's Tacos was stellar. From the service to the ambiance to the establishment itself. It was clean, customer focused, and inviting. I will definitely be back. Oh yeah, and the Sweat Tea... Yes Ma'ammmmmmmmmm. Whoever made that sweet tea knew I was coming because it was Southern Perfection.

It took awhile to figure out what we wanted, but we were given fresh chips and salsa right away to curb some hunger while we decided. Any Mexican place that gives complimentary chips and salsa gets extra points in my book. Our server was on top of checking on us and she was super nice. As you can see from our picture, we got a decent spread. I saw complaints on here prior about meat costing extra, well, in my case, it made sense. I wanted all the yummy that came with the veggie burrito, but also wanted meat. For the amount of meat in my burrito, I think the extra charge was a little much, but it was delicious, so I'm not complaining. The amount of meat on the Texas nachos my husband ordered could have used more meat though. The chips to meat to cheese to topping ratio was off, but we made it work. It was a nice place to celebrate our anniversary week and when we are in the area again, we will probably stop by. There were other options we have yet to try.

Large crowd came just as we were wrapping up. Restaurant is nicely decorated in authentic Mexican designs. We enjoyed their homemade chips and salsa while having our beverages and waiting for our food. I didn't have any alcoholic drinks so I can't comment on them but the selections on the menu sounded delicious. The chips were light with a nice crunch just the way I like it. My friends commented the spicy and mild salsa were flavorful. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp Fajita which came out sizzling hot and tasty - seasoned well. I substituted rice for fries and a traditional salad - no guacamole or pico de gallo. My friend's Pineapple Fajita was not only cool looking but also tasty from the few bites I tried. Our other friend enjoyed his steak tacos. Overall it was a great experience. I unfortunately forgot our server's name who was extremely nice. She was familiar with the menu and gave me perfect recommendations along with making substitutions. We all appreciated her timeliness with checking on us and offering refills. The birria quesadillas were okay. Not my favorite but still decently good. I think they could work on how they make it- they need more cheese inside and I think the meat needs to marinate longer maybe. Also the consume needs some improvement, didn't have much flavor. I was still okay with it but I'd order something else next time. My friend liked the burrito Senoia. We both loved the empanada. I'm definitely getting one again next time. Their chips are great and we liked the queso and salsa. I'm obsessed with their salsa verde. The drinks were pretty good. We liked the jalapeño mango drink a little more than the Blue Lagoon. I think the Blue Lagoon needed some more blue curaçao. Still pretty good overall though The wait for our food was very short, the workers were all courteous, and we were sat immediately. The prices here are reasonable. There's lots of parking surrounding the place. You can sit inside or outside. I liked the ambiance inside. The decor was pretty cool. Plus they play music at a good volume. I can't stand not hearing who I'm eating with. That wasn't the case here at all. Location is convenient since it's downtown I'm certain we'll be back! :)
