This was the freshest, most delicious Mexican food I have had in a long time. The service was friendly & fast! Mireya anticipated our every need & was extremely friendly & attentive. The prices were excellent for the full plate of food we received! The Negro Modelo (12 oz.) was only $3.75! Much less expensive than most places, & served with a chilled mug! You can eat as a "dine-in" restaurant at a booth with menus, or order at the counter, & bring your meal to your table. We were initially served spicy salsa with our chips, but when Mireya noticed I was coughing from the heat of the salsa, she brought us "mild" salsa without us asking for it! We will definitely be returning customers! We HIGHLY recommend Chalupa Express!

Oh Chapala, how do I love thee? Here's the deal: Mary doesn't really "crave" Mexican food, ya know, ever. But then, Chapala came along. At Chapala, the menu options seem endless. I'll admit to getting the same exact meal nearly every time I go there - but then, it's perfect, so why would I change it? The portions are big, the flavors are spot on, and the service is RIDICULOUSLY fast. As soon as you sit down, you're brought chips, salsa, and bean dip. Before you can even finish a few chips, your meal is placed before you on a steaming hot plate. I've only cleaned my plate there twice; all other times I need a to-go box. This is a wonderful spot for a meal if you're pressed for time. If you want to slow things down, just enjoy the chips while your meal cools off in front of you. They offer margaritas and beer, and it's all extremely affordable. If you're heading into Richland for business or pleasure, you really should check out Chapala Express, it won't disappoint :)

I always have a good consistant experience here. Greeted with a smile, you pay and chose a seat (a clean table)and a server brings salsa to you. This place is great for the family or work lunch. Enjoying a vegetarian burrito today.

Really fast cheerful service. Good food. We enjoyed our meal. Seven meals for about $60 before tip.

The chicken taco was good, pretty basic seasoning but a *lot* more meat than I expected. Very fresh and arrived still warm. The tamales were outstanding -- the masa was the perfect texture, and it was the ideal balance of masa to filling, and they were larger than expected. The rajas was spicy, the pork was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Definitely a standout. The horchata wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciate, and did taste homemade. The price for all this food was incredibly reasonable, so I'd say it's an excellent value. And I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu!

Restaurant is run by wonder women as their sign says inside. They have all the Mexican beverages your heart desires. Now the food! Burritos are a very generous portions. Everyone at the restaurant had to, to-go their orders as the burrito's are very feeling. I thought my eggs and potato burrito would not be as filling as my husband's that had everything and oh boy was I wrong. I didn't even make it half way and had to tap out. They have food options for everyone, from breakfast items to quesadillas for the little ones. You won't be disappointed going here. Extremely reasonably priced and worth your money for the quality /quantity of food you get and you are supporting local women owned business!!

The interior has nice…read moredecor, I want to spend an hour just looking at all the liquor bottles above the bar, plenty of space for large groups. The food was a solid 4, good taste and portion size, while the service was a bit lacking at the beginning. Came in a weekday for a late lunch. A few other groups already there. We sat in between two other groups, would have liked a bit of space. We were asked about our order immediately upon sitting, but then had a gap for maybe 6 min before we were asked again. Not sure if we were giving off a vibe, but we did look around a bit for the server. After ordering the food came out quick and was plated nicely. I was very satisfied with the Grilled Shrimp bowl. It looks deceptively small, but there is some depth to it and the hearty rice and beans are underneath. The flavors came together well, the salsa and pico, roasted corn, the grilled shrimp themselves, and some creaminess from the beans, just all around solid and would get again. The guacamole seemed like an afterthought, although it may have partially tempered heat from the salsa (but the creams and beans were doing this too). My other party members enjoyed their Guava Lemonaide, Enchiladas Verdes, and Carnitas Bowl. We finished our food and stayed at the table to chat, until we were ready to leave. Staff thanked us for coming.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the visit. Service felt polished and welcoming. I ordered the Cadillac Margarita and it was excellent. Smooth, well balanced, and easily one of the highlights of the night. The atmosphere also leans toward a higher end cantina feel. Warm lighting, nice decor, and a space that feels like it wants to be elevated. Then there is the food. Instead of the usual chips and salsa, they brought out fried Mexican wheat crisps. They were fine, but they felt more like something you would grab at a Hispanic flea market than something you expect at an upscale cantina. Not bad, just unexpected, and a little confusing given the setting. We ordered the flautas and those were genuinely delicious. Crispy, flavorful, and paired with a generous portion of guacamole that really worked. No complaints there. The pozole pappardelle had good flavor, but calling it pozole based felt like a stretch. It tasted good, but it did not really hit the mark of what you expect from pozole. The amount of chicken was also pretty light, especially for a $28 dish. At that price point, you expect a more generous portion, and it just was not there. My wife ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was very good. That said, it tasted different from the last time she visited. Not necessarily worse, just different. That suggests to me that there may be some variation depending on the day, but the flavors were still solid. Overall, Perch feels like it is caught in a bit of a food limbo. The atmosphere suggests a higher end experience, but the limited menu and some of the food choices do not fully match that vibe. It is not bad, and there are definitely things done well, but it does not quite come together as a complete experience. I would go back for drinks and happy hour, but I am still undecided if it fully delivers on what it is trying to be.
