I'd been wanting to check out this place for a while. I'm more than pleased that I chose to do so today. Spotless seating and spotless kitchen area, from what I could see. Excellent customer service. Patient, knowledgeable, understanding, kind. Quick service, too! I took advantage of the recommendations of the lovely young woman who took my order and, boy, her suggestions were spot on! And, do yourself a favor and get one and/or all of the specialty drinks they have at the checkout counter. I only chose one, but given my experience with that, I don't doubt that all 4 of the available options are just as delightful and as refreshing as the one I chose. 100%, 5/5 Stars, would, and will, recommend Miss Tamale to anyone asking. read more

Ordered a breakfast burrito with combination of meat which was an up charge. I asked for half the portion of meat cause my local place I usually go to really packs it in there so I assumed the case here. Well there was pretty much no meat in my burrito and there was nothing but sausage in there. I literally opened it up. Quite disappointed in spending close to 20 bucks that was basically cheese potato's and egg with a couple sausage. read more

This place is a must go ! Women owned and they work hard. Cute location with awesome art work inside. Restaurant is very clean and spacious. Restaurant is run by wonder women as their sign says inside. They have all the Mexican beverages your heart desires. Now the food! Burritos are a very generous portions. Everyone at the restaurant had to, to-go their orders as the burrito's are very feeling. I thought my eggs and potato burrito would not be as filling as my husband's that had everything and oh boy was I wrong. I didn't even make it half way and had to tap out. They have food options for everyone, from breakfast items to quesadillas for the little ones. You won't be disappointed going here. Extremely reasonably priced and worth your money for the quality /quantity of food you get and you are supporting local women owned business!! read more

I had Miss Tamale for the first time as a delivery order, so I can't speak to the ambience...yet. I'll definitely be coming in! I got a chicken taco, pork tamale, rajas tamale, and horchata. The chicken taco was good, pretty basic seasoning but a *lot* more meat than I expected. Very fresh and arrived still warm. The tamales were outstanding -- the masa was the perfect texture, and it was the ideal balance of masa to filling, and they were larger than expected. The rajas was spicy, the pork was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Definitely a standout. The horchata wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciate, and did taste homemade. The price for all this food was incredibly reasonable, so I'd say it's an excellent value. And I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu! read more

Amazing tamales!!! Was trying to find a Mexican breakfast spot and ended up finding this gem! They were one of the first places open and had tamales priced reasonably that hit the spot for any tamale enthusiast! read more

When you are looking for good tamales this is a good go to! Don't be turned off by the price as the tamales are massive! I tried the chicken one as well as a rajas tamal. Both were very good. I would have liked the chicken one to have some sort of salsa in it (green or red). They do provide salsa on the side which helped. I will definitely be going back to try the breakfast burritos and pozole. read more

Where to start. Overpriced breakfast burrito. It's really heavy because it's filled with undercooked hashbrowns. Might be the worst chorizo I've ever had. Their hot salsa was really good. read more

Tried their West Richland location for the first time last night. It is definitely going on our frequent repeat list. Gluten free options for my child with Celiac. Friendly customer service. Stopped by first thing in am because they were open. Very large burrito cut in half and shared with hubby. Food was hot and fresh. Unfortunately they use thick doughy tortillas and lots of undercooked hash browns as filler. Bacon was mixed into the eggs in very tiny chips, personally I prefer recognizable bacon for taste and presentation. I get it, it's cheaper for the establishment to do it this way but really impacts the taste and mouth feel. Chicken tamale was basically masa-where's the chicken? Both salsas were good but the green salsa was exceptionally delicious. Overall disappointing experience, not sure how this is on anyone's "best" of anything list. read more

So the tamales we took back to with us to the Lodge Hotel was excellent. I was surprised that they were generous with their meat filling. But after the rolls and one tamale, we were full. Took the rest to our next stop in Bellevue. The tamales the next day was still good as ever. read more

The asada tacos were full of fat pieces. The Asada Bowl was very small & had less meat in it than a single one of the tacos. What a rip off. The description on DoorDash said it was 32 oz. It was nowhere near that. Very misleading description. I can not recommend this place. read more

Amazing tamales! We were in town for a soccer tournament and had lunch here on our way out of town. The tamales were delicious and well worth the trip! was up at the site for training and Miss T was rumored to have goodies up there as well but I generally don't breakfast out like that so afterwards I take a stroll down the block to the actual place to sample her wares. figure a couple tamales and a burrito ought to do the trick and get stuff to take back to the room. food is ready shortly and sack feels heavy when I pick it up... and when I unpack I realize the magnitude of my error!! the tamales are generous portions of meat filled masas wrapped in real corn husks and steamed to deliciousness and very nearly burrito sized! the burrito is about a pint and a half of beanie meaty goodness wrapped in a tortilla that became lunch for two days. they're not just big, they're good too. just saying read more

If o could leave negative stars I would . I absolutely always order tamales, and today before my flight I decided to order some via door dash . When my order arrived not only was it cold but it was pork and no chicken , they were all mushed together . On top of that I'm allergic to pork and now am headed to the er. I even wrote in the notes that I'm allergic . Not only was I upset but now I'm having an allergic reaction. I would post a pic but that went to the garbage and I got in a Uber read more

We have been at the one in West Richland twice now. One to try the breakfast burritos and the second time to try their tacos and burritos. Can't say we are impressed with either experience. The size is huge (good) but the taste is very lacking. The pork tacos were so bland that we had to douse them in sauce. The asada burrito had so much rice in it and we threw away most of the burrito. The breakfast burritos similarly were very bland as well - including the chorizo one... The lady at the counter was good and polite but the second time, the male staff @ the check out tried to charge us extra for the 3rd taco even though it was Tuesday tacos! read more

This is the WORSSST Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I'm from Southern California and literally live next to all these amazing taco shops and places that make tamales and they're the same price as this place and MUCH higher in quality. I think my first mistake was trusting my friend who is local to here about trying Mexican food in WA. But she insisted on this place being yummy so I was like okay why not. The masa for the tamales was decent but the inside filling with the chicken tasted zankha (Arabic word meaning rancid & unclean). It was NOT it at all. We took our food to a nearby park and I legit had a bite and spit it out. The beef tacos--I also spit those out. They were SO disgusting. The meat was Such LOWWW quality. I get wayyy better meat in SoCal for the same price/taco. The customer service here was good like the women kept asking if we had any questions, the interior is cute, and they don't use lard in their food. But honestly even with all that, the place is a one star to me bcuz of how nasty the food is. read more

As a lover of good breakfast burritos I just had to try this local spot that I have been hearing has some pretty amazing burritos. As soon as you walk in you are hit with art work on every wall from a local artist that just so happens to be available for purchase. A few tables for in house dining but not much as it seems to be really a "To-Go" type restaurant. The customer service was friendly and fast as I was there first thing in the morning, but I would recommend calling ahead for pick-up if you are not planning on dining in. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and I have to say, I was not disappointed. It was loaded with hash browns, eggs, chorizo and cheese. I for sure plan on going back for more. read more

Delicious tamales with a large, cleaning area. One star off because the woman working the register was SO RUDE, we asked 2-3 questions when ordering about the different menu items and she was so short and irritable.
