Makes me sad to see this place slowly fail. Awful food awful service lady was so rude. I asked for enchiladas my fault for being specific but she gave me whatever sauce she wanted and whatever meat she wanted didn't make a fuss like I said my fault for not being specific. Food came out I kid you not 5 mins later after ordering. so dang fast it became suspicious. Considering how my review is going it was obviously awful! The sauce tasted like it was from a can full of sodium hardly any taste I was so disappointed keep in mind this meal alone was 20 dollars itself crazy! Nasty food and insane prices I used to come through the drive thru all the time and the food was amazing! Idk what happened to this place. Ps you get disposable plate and utensils even with dining in. LOL read more

La Posada - Mexican Near Me - Kennewick, Washington

I LOVE their lengua burritos, and I order at the drive-thru on a regular basis. The only downside is its messy to eat (leaks through the wrapping/bag). There aren't many places where you can get a lengua burrito at a drive-thru so this is my go-to place. The chicken burritos are good also. read more

So much more expensive. $45+ for two burritos with guacamole and cheese. We get 1 day old, twice cooked carné with no guac and no cheese. So much grease coming off of it that I had to roll it up in a paper towel. Gross. And a bummer. Great family that owns it. We probably won't go there for a while. Sorry, guys. Those are 5 dollar, 3am food. Sincerely, AF San Diego read more

La Posada - Dry and old, repurposed for too much caysh - Mexican Near Me - Kennewick, Washington

Came for breakfast burrito. Better than a fast food breakfast burrito, but that's it. Had the bacon potato and cheese burrito. Kinda dry, taste was ok, not great. Just the true measure is if I finished it. Nah, didn't finish. I put the red sauce on and it had a good kick to it. Interior is old, which is ok for an awesome dive with great food. Not this place. The men's restroom was disgusting. Report from wife was women's was fine. Probably better options in town. read more

Jus Sayin! It's not as good as it used to be! The carne asada burritos had weird steak ! It was balls of meat we think no cilantro! No seasoning either! Hope they change it back read more

Went here this morning for a couple of breakfast burritos and was absolutely flabbergasted at the price of $12 each for a burrito that is now half the size it was 6 months ago. I can't believe these restaurants continue to take advantage of loyal customers. I was so angry after I got home I was unable to even eat half of the burrito as small as it was. Just outrageous. I won't be back. read more

Nope. Never again. They just lost a longtime customer. Everything I go there lately I'm disappointed a little more each time. $12 for a burrito when it's like the tortilla overlaps its self twice. No thank you. Save yourself the time and money and go grab a bagel from the coffee shop down the street, or dare I say, just go to McDonald's. I'd probably be happier being disappointed w their burritos, I mean they are the same if you get two, and cheaper. read more

Driving through town and needed food! This spot has so many options and homemade churros! Excellent service and food! Very clean bathrooms as well which is a win in my book! Go eat there! read more

The food here is pretty good. In fact, it's one of my favorite places to eat at f I'm looking for low quality Mexican food. I usually order the shrimp burrito and ask for it to be extra spicy (tapatillo inside). I ask for it to be wrapped so I can eat it in the car. About half the time they don't wrap it and serve it in a container instead. The other half of the time they do terrible job wrapping it and the burrito is incredibly messy. Often there's shells from the shrimp because they do not do a good job of cleaning the shrimp. So frustrating. Then there's the girls that take the orders. They are BAD. I have to repeat myself constantly and even if I'm ordering several items and state that I will be ordering a lot- they ask "Is that all"'after each item. The last time I went (earlier today) the order taker asked me this seven times. SEVEN TIMES. Really, just know the customer service is a foreign concept and if you're not a Spanish speaker they pretty much will not respect you. read more

Pretty solid breakfast burrito! I got the buenos dias burrito (bacon, cheese, potato, and eggs). All the breakfast burritos come with eggs. The burrito was as long as my forearm, but I had no difficulty finishing most of it because it wasn't that thick in girth. It was also packed with bacon, which I appreciated so I could get my protein fix. The caveat about this bomb burrito is that you must finish it in one sitting. Even two hours later is not soon enough. I had about five bites of my burrito left and I saved it to eat as a snack two hours later. By then, the oil and grease had hardened the bacon and tortilla beyond taste-recognition. It was still full of flavor thanks to the bacon and I finished every last bite, but I felt queasy about having seen all that grease in action. Ignorance is bliss, guys. Shall be back for those carne asada fries! read more

Great breakfast burritos. Huge so we split them. Great people too. Nice place to support

They have soooo much potential but consistentlyfail to deliver. And I've given multiple chance to them and support them for over 2 years now. The last couple times have been pretty tasteless experiences. I unfortunately didn't get pictures of this instant but I've got rolled tacos in the past and there was a long 3 inch metal wire in the ROLLED TACO, how do you miss that??!! A few month pas and decide to go In again and get my go to. Rolled Tacos. Not only were they uncooked, they were almost meatless(pictures provided) Wish they cared more because they have potential. The only really going for them right now is being open 24 hours. read more

Got food to-go here twice. For dinner we got the enchiladas and a Cali burrito. Great flavor, and the burrito had a good ratio of everything including meat. We liked it so much we decided to try their breakfast burritos today. We got one with chorizo and another with bacon. Both were more than good sized and we were barely able to finish. I loved that they mixed everything together so that each bite had a little of the eggs, meat, potatoes, and cheese instead of some burritos where each bite is just eggs or potatoes etc. Their green salsa is also amazing! Has a nice kick and isn't bland at all. Definitely will be back to try other things on the menu read more

The food is great, the service is good, they are open late and have a drive thru! One of the best little treasures in Kennewick.

I do enjoy a good meal there. I do find that sometimes I do not get exactly what I ordered though. The few times I have actually received food or toppings that would be over the ordering price that I paid for. So I have not said anything. Salsa bar is good. I would suggest ordering in person and not through any delivery app. They do not provide you with enough salsa. A solid place to eat if you want fast Mexican cuisine. read more

Great rolled taquitos and asada fries, their food actually tastes authentic and they have a drive through.

I usually eat here multiple times a week, buy yesterday at about 7pm I walked into the restaurant and there was literally nobody there. I walked outside to check if there was a closed sign (there wasn't that I could see), I called out to see if anyone was there, no response. At this point I was actually starting to worry that I was trespassing or just not supposed to be there so I left. As I was driving out of the lot I'm pretty sure I saw an worker sitting on a chair behind the building with his head down so I couldn't tell if they were asleep or on their phone. I don't know what was going on but I'm starting to think they just forgot to lock the front door or something. read more

I've got to say - that might have been the best California Burrito I've had while doing 75 mph. Steak was very juicy and flavorful. Fries were exceptionally seasoned. Green salsa was smokey and complex. Big thanks to Kris L. #lappdaddyapproved for his 55 check ins and 30+ photos - you really are the Duke of La Posada. read more

La Posada - Last bite of an amazing California Burrito...at pace - Mexican Near Me - Kennewick, Washington

La posada used to be my favorite spot for burritos about 4 years ago. The last time I went was about a year ago and the taste wasn't the same, idk what happened in between then and now but I went today to give them another chance and I couldn't even finish my meal. I ordered my usual carne asada burrito and idk what type of meat was used but it did not taste anything like carne asada more like chewy wet bark. Do better, Posada read more

La Posada - Delicious!!! - Mexican Near Me - Kennewick, Washington

Only place I know of that you can get a breakfast burrito at 6 am. They have many options for burritos, and great salsas to go with it.

I had 5 rolled (supposed to be chicken tacos). They came out burnt and with no chicken inside of them. So essentially I had 5 rolled up corn tortillas deep fried and burnt, it was over $8. That was there special......!!! I should have gone to my go to Chapala express at the end of Clearwater waaaaay better value and food quality. I won't be back to this establishment. read more

We used the drive-thru and ordered their tacos with Carne asada. These are street Taco style, and they were delicious with the carne asada. The refried beans are very good. The rice is only so-so. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and usually get the burritos. They're much better than the local El Sazon. La Posada burritos are full of meat and some of them have guacamole in them. El Sazon burritos are mostly rice & bean filler. Carne asade burritos sometimes have some un-chewable gristle, but have good flavor. *update for 4/8/17* I made the mistake of ordering a carne asada burrito (to go) and of course there were 4 large chunks of gristle. I hate paying $7/burrito and most of the meat is not actually meat. Stay away from the carne asada, or expect big chunks of gristle. Carnitas burrito and adobada burritos are my personal favorite. My wife likes the chile relleno burrito. I don't come for the décor or table-side service, I come for the meat filled burritos at a good price. It's deli-style order at the counter and the workers are usually pretty friendly, even early in the morning. read more

The have such amazing food but are so incompetent! I get the same order every time and they charge me a different amount each time, talked to the manager twice and he just says sorry! No correction with their staff, and any modification to your order don't expect to get it, they charge you extra for everything but don't do it. read more

I stopped going here after going for 10-15 years when I asked for two enchiladas they rang up two individual enchiladas. I asked why he didn't ring up the two enchilada order which was significantly cheaper and he said it was the way his boss told him to ring it in to get more $$. I found this to be extremely deceptive behavior and stopped going all together. read more

Coming from San Diego, CA obviously nothing can really compare to San Diego Mexican food and that's why I gave it a four stars. This place has great drive-thru Mexican food I love their TJ tacos & the Carne asada burrito & I haven't been inside since new management took over. I just recently tried the carne asada fries & the fries could of been a little more crunchy to hold all the cheese, guacamole, sour cream & pico! I definitely will keep coming back since there's nothing else's that compares in this area. read more

I ordered a carne asada chimichanga, waited 20 min to get it. It was much too salty and no flavor, tortilla was over cooked as well. Not worth $9. No beans and rice either, when last time we came we got those on the side... Not very consistent. Will not be returning here. read more

I go through Kennewick a couple times a year and I always go to La Posada. It's a real-deal taco shop. Carne asada, carnitas, rolled tacos, enchiladas....man. Always radish and pickled carrots. Good salsa. The owners (family) are nice folks. I've always gotten good service here. Anyhow, I can't wait to go back. read more

Service is slower than fast food, but the food is worth the wait. We always order the rolled tacos, Carne Asada tacos and the Buenas Días breakfast burrito. I'm hungry just thinking about it, gonna go get me some Mexican food. read more

Gas quesadilla and the staff is super awesome and friendly! Kitchen too they're all great !!!

Some of the very best tasting Mexican food around. I recommend their steak and shrimp burrito.

Tonight is the last time I will visit this restaurant and I have been a loyal patron for years. My son and I like to practice soccer at a nearby school on the weekends and then come in for nachos and a horchata. This evening we went in for our regular orders and it was quickly made clear that we were unwelcome. Only two tables had customers and there was one car in drive thru. After 5 minutes of being ignored while we stood at the counter with cash in our hands, a guy walked while avoiding eye contact and said only "yes". My son was extremely hungry and very eager for a sip of that cold, sweet horchata after a couple hours in the sun, but I had a lesson to teach. I refuse to hand over hard earned cash to someone that has no respect for me or appreciation for my business. read more

every time I have ever went here they have gotten my order wrong, I kept going back giving them the benefit of the doubt as the food is good but this last time I went and paid part cash part card, I handed the lady 40$ cash but she only entered that I gave her 20$ and charged the rest to my card. when I said something she got some other girl who claimed they can't open the register without a manager. this employee pocketed my 20$!! and no one seemed to care, I only got my money back after 20mins of arguing with them! and of course my order was completely incorrect this time as well. definitely the last time I will be going to this place! read more

Completely unprofessional. Kids fighting over tips. But suprisingly all the tables were very clean. I'll give them that and that ALONE! Food came out WRONG. And they forgot our chips and salsa. Oh and the food was terrible on top of that. Didnt bother asking for right food or chips n salsa.... for fear of retaliation from cook. read more

Just tried the Mar Y Tierra burrito! OMG... so good! Super fresh! I've never had a bad meal here.

Great little dive restaurant, 24 hours!! I love the burritos and tacos!! If your hungry late at night, this place is a must!! Some things I have come to love about La Posada is the surprising consistency of the food. Even though it is fast food and I mean fast! the burritos I get are always the same consistency, no matter which one I get. While I am sure there are better quality, cleaner and desirable Mexican restaurants in town, this is the one I frequent the most. I love the salsas and the sautéed onions/jalapenos they put out for you. I always go inside versus the drive thru so I can get all the extra goodies I love to add. By the way, when I mention how fast they are, it isn't because they have pre-made food sitting around waiting to be re-heated, its because the dude on the grill is a beast and whips out food like its nobodies business, and it isn't...so stay out of his business hahaha. 4 stars when compared to, well really any fast, drive thru or sit down mexican restaurant. Don't go expecting a huge plate of rice and beans to overwhelm what you actually order. Just get your main entree and enjoy that for a very reasonable price. read more
