When I found Jennifer on IG, I was more than excited to get a tattoo from her. She's done all kinds of different tattoo styles, so I would definitely recommend her, if you don't mind going to Downey, CA. Her shop/studio is clean, and everyone there is nice. Jennifer had to reschedule my original appointment and was gracious enough to squeeze me in at the end of her long work day. My appointment was at 7:30 pm and she was able to finish 2 hours later. Highly recommend Chaotic Ink for all your needs and desires. My girlfriend and I were drawn to their Friday the 13th specials and couldn't believe the line of people waiting for either/both tattoos and/or piercings. The lines were moving but the volume of people was growing. They did what they could until 6:30am the next day. However, although they had to turn people away by the time it was morning the next day, they did honor the price of the specials the next day. Great customer service. Great attention to detail. Wonderful artists and staff. 10/10 will definitely come back. DO NOT COME HERE FOR JEWELRY!!!! They over charge terribly and it's not even good quality. They sell you defective pieces then don't want to replace them. First, they seemed nice because the two times I had gone in the beginning happened to be on me losing certain pieces. At the other times when they were defective, I was given more of a hard time especially when they charge $15 for a thin tongue piercing that doesn't work pisses me off even more. I got my tattoo May 2nd with the artist JC. It looked really good at the moment. He only gave me saran wrap and told me to take it off in 30 minutes. Two weeks later, my tattoo started to look more thick thicker and I had thought it was just scab, but it never went away and now a month later it looks thick and the ink is bleeding out. Don't book here, specifically with Jacqueline Valerio (Cherry). I paid her a $50 deposit via Zelle for an appointment. She went completely silent and ignored every single one of my messages for weeks. Cherry has absolutely no policies posted anywhere stating deposits are non-refundable. The shop's official Instagram page does not list any booking or refund rules, and they do not even have a studio website to find this information. Instead, you have to dig all the way into the shop owner's personal Instagram bio to find a brief mention of a non-refundable fee, leaving clients completely in the dark about whether this applies to every artist or just the owner. The communication at this studio is incredibly poor. Taking money and ghosting clients is unethical. Avoid this shop unless you want your money stolen. read more

Maybe he was having a bad day, but all I know is that he didn't use anything to lubricate the needle. The piercing wasn't even perpendicular to my ear--it was done at an angle. The piercings are extremely close to each other, and yes, I'm fully aware that swelling happens after a piercing. Because of that, he should have used a larger earring instead of something so small that, once my ear swelled, it wouldn't have popped off. I want to give my deepest appreciation for a great experience getting my first tattoo done to this tattoo shop, Everyone, including the owner and all the staff was so welcoming and showed support and helped me with my first timer nerves. I've been hestitant for years getting my first tattoo but on on July 25, 2025, I got courage and went to get my first tattoo. Even though I wanted the owner to do my first tattoo, but unfortunately she was busy that day. I went to one of their flash sales and it didn't disappoint, they have so many cute art designs that it took awhile for me to decide. Her work looked amazing online but after my session with her, the ink started to peel and the tattoo seemed to be on the surface of my skin only. I tried to schedule an appointment with her in two different occasions for a touch up and she never responded. Her art work online did not match her professionalism. She posts everyday online and still leaves me days without a response clearly she doesn't care about her work and her clients! I have had 2 tattoos fixed by the owner Jennifer. I had some script done by another artist and it wasn't the best. She was able to go over it and straighten the lines and enhance it. I also had a tattoo done on my hip when I had just turned 18 (let's just say it's been well over a decade since then) by an artist that was not the best. I then had 2 babies and it stretched that hip tattoo out twice and it just looked horrible. She was able to fix it and added some background to it. It turned it into a completely new tattoo and better than I originally had envisioned. Besides these 2 corrected tattoos, she's tatted me 3 other times and my husband twice.
