Came in to have my daughter get her belly button pierced! What can i say!? EXCEPTIONAL service. Was greeted at the door with GREAT service. Michelle took care of my daughter, who was a bit scared but she made sure that my daughter was in good hands. She was clean, polite, and most importantly professional. Everything was sterile and clean. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Dota Ink for taking care of my kiddo!

@tattoochick1383 (Jenn) is pretty awesome. I've not been lucky in finding any tattoo artists in my local area that have any experience with Sanrio characters. When I found Jenn on IG, I was more than excited to get a tattoo from her. She's done all kinds of different tattoo styles, so I would definitely recommend her, if you don't mind going to Downey, CA. Her shop/studio is clean, and everyone there is nice. I also had the option of just listening to the music or watching a movie while getting tattooed. They also do piercings, permanent makeup, and lash extensions at Dotta. Jenn had to cancel my original appointment and was gracious enough to squeeze me in at the end of her long work day. My appointment was at 7:30 pm and she was able to finish 2 hours later. I've been a Sanrio fan since I was a kid and I was so happy to get this tattoo from Jenn. I love it and will go back to her for my next tattoo, when I return to SoCal.

I went to Dotta Ink to see Art Gallardo. Cool shop. Clean, a bit gothic styled and nice and open. Art is known for his great American Traditional Style but is great at Black and Grey and other styles too. My favorite part about him is his custom work. He loves to draw on the client to make it fit the body and spaces so well. That's why I continue to see him. He has done cover ups, fillers and blast overs on me and I always get compliments. Dotta Ink is a cool spot located in Downey near Portos. Get a rad tattoo and then some awesome pastries next door. Everyone in the shop is so nice. It's awesome to find a welcoming tattoo studio.

What an Amazing way to End the Last Sunday of January is by getting New Ink at DOTTA INK with "Vamp" herself. From the Consultation via text to Walking into the Tattoo shop Greeted by 2 Awesome Artists. Thank you Tata for helping me with the Digital Paperwork LOL! The Piece I got was a "Personal" Lettering Tattoo and Vamp did a 110% GREAT JOB. I felt very Comfortable and at Peace all throughout. It's not bogus your piercer Maricela is the reason for this experience and review. This was my actual experience a she did charge me 100 and did not even change my piercing which was the issue of the bump. I had to go to another piercer to address the issue. This is my personal favorite tattoo shop in Downey. I walked in and met with Bennett Loc who took care of the design I wanted and even came up with a better design than I originally planned. His style of tattooing is phenomenal with an incredible attention to detail. Out of all my tattoos I can say the one he did for me is the best and my favorite. Bennett has great follow up with his customers after getting the tattoo and even offers really great advice on how to take care of it as it's healing and how to take care of it after it's all healed. I appreciate the work Bennett did a lot. He kept his station really organized and maintained properly which was really awesome. Been looking for a tattoo artist for a while, and I found this place. This place is conveniently located in the middle of Downey. Dezi the tattoo artist is very professional, friendly and nice. Best place to get your lashes done. Beautiful building, great location and plenty of parking. The building looks so pretty..... like a castle to me I always walk out feeling great and rejuvenated. You get the full lash treatment here. The lash bash is so refreshing. I always forget to check-in on Yelp but I've been getting my lashes done by Angela since day oneI absolutely love getting my lashes done, Angela is so good and light handed that I always fall asleep at some point of my session. We walked in, my boyfriend got a tattoo, my cousins an ear piercing, and I re pierced my septum and my nose and the service was AMAZING!!! The vibes were awesome! The guy who pierced us came from Moreno Valley and his name was Chris. We waited and got here before his eta. We didn't mind the wait since my bf was getting a tattoo anyway. I began my journey in beauty back in 2017, starting from home with lash artistry. By 2019, I opened Dame de Lash in Downey, California, becoming a lash educator and growing my business. My path into tattoo artistry came through permanent makeup—ombré powder brows and scalp micropigmentation. By 2023, I expanded that passion into Dotta Ink, where we now house 15 talented artists. I wanted a tiger paired with specific florals (forget-me-nots, honeysuckle, and narcissus paperwhites) all kept above the elbow. Angie brought my vision to life more beautifully than I could have imagined. The process at Baron Art was seamless. After submitting a consultation form, I heard back within 1-2 days and coordinated everything with Cat (Angie's assistant) via email. Cat was wonderful, detailed, and quick to reply. On the day of my appointment, I received digital aftercare instructions after I checked in. Before starting, Angie was incredibly patient. She adjusted the tiger's scale on her iPad to match my arm and printed several stencils to ensure the size and placement was just right. She then freehanded the florals, precisely incorporating the negative space I requested to keep the design from feeling too heavy. Angie is incredibly talented and has a light touch. Even the pain in the inner bicep area was manageable. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the 4 hour session, and the result was perfect. This piece means so much to me and is very close to my heart, as it's a memorial for my mom who passed away recently. The forget-me-nots were her favorite flowers, and the narcissus paperwhites and honeysuckle are our birth flowers. The tiger was the first stuffed animal that my parents bought for me when we first immigrated to the US. It was my "guardian" throughout my childhood. Angie, thank you very much for your kindness and for creating such a meaningful, beautiful piece. This was the first of two sessions, and I already love it so much--I can't wait to see how it turns out! Some notes: - Snacks: I brought along Gatorade and was sipping on it before and during my session. I ate some candy and had a protein bar during the breaks too. It helped so much to keep my blood sugar up. - Vibe: So relaxing! The studio was spacious, and they were playing a throwback playlist from like the 2010s lol. I was vibing out and didn't even use the earbuds I brought! Everyone was so friendly too! Throughout the session, I noticed a couple artists stopped by to admire Angie's work as she was doing the tiger :) - Parking: parking in this location wasn't actually too bad. There's a structure about a 5 min walk away from the studio down the street. Just turn right into the little street where the Arrow Lodge Brewing is at. Go in a little bit, and it's on the left hand side. If you reach S Santa Fe Ave, you've gone too far!

As a cosmetologist that has taken many courses to add to my services, this is hands down the most beautiful and clean training facility. I absolutely love the aesthetic and the space! It's great for learning while social distancing. My training was facilitated by the owner herself, who took all precautions. We are talking sanitizer at the door (and every room), two sinks, and spacious stations. I appreciated that she wore and recommended a face shield (on top of mask) as you are in very close proximity to your models. I took the lash lift (perm) and brow lamination course, and I liked the technique and added kit tools for pro tips! We had theory for an hour, a mannequin demo, and live model practice. (Ofcourse you bring your own, which is great during these times for peace of mind.) I was happy that I got the attention I paid for. I had constant monitoring in a class of 4, and kept being corrected to improve my speed as this process is time sensitive and there's no room to build bad habits! I got a lot of feedback and all my questions answered. I enjoyed this class and training center so much that I signed up for the eyebrow threading course this Sunday to enhance my work. So initially I noticed Dotta Ink when I was driving through downtown Downey. I came in as a walk in to get nipple piercings. The person Rice at the front door was very nice and welcoming when I came in. Even though they were in a meeting, he tended to me right away with a smile. You know checking the vibe of a place is always important but they definitely checked that box for me. The piercer Chris came over and asked what I was looking to get and was sooo professional. I signed a form and I was able to voice my concerns. He double checked everything, he was also soo nice and explained the whole process to me. Chris also spoke to me throughout the process and kept me relaxed. Everything went easy and simple. Kind of felt like home honestly. I loved how easy and comfortable the process was. The shop also accepts Zelle so that was a plus! He cleaned me up and gave me aftercare instructions. Even offered further help with any trouble healing. This shop is definitely a vibe! Ladies and Gentlemen if your looking for a professional school and setting for lash and brow training! DAME DE LASH Academy is it. I received my training from the Master herself in a private one on one class and it was the best investment I've ever done on myself. She took her time to explain the fundamentals of being a Lash Artist there's so much more to just placing a lash on a client. She made sure I understood what I was getting myself into and definitely gave me all the tools I needed to be successful in this industry. So if you want to get certified learn the proper way, YouTube will not get into detail with it, trust me I tried. I chose Dotta Ink because my brother has gotten multiple tattoos with Luis and always speaks highly of his experience. I was looking to get a tattoo and texted the number on their website, they reply quickly and were able to get me in early the next day. I really appreciated this because I've had to book tattoos weeks in advance at prior tattoo shops. I was paired with The Doctor, who was very nice throughout the tattoo session. He was very mindful of making sure I liked the placement and sizing of the tattoo or if I needed a break throughout the session. You can tell he's very passionate about his work. Let me start off by saying that Academy is beautiful! It's very vintage-girly with a touch of goth and I'm obsessed with her designing. The academy is well kept, throughly cleaned, and frankly a pleasant environment. However, that's just a bonus, the classes are spot on. David and Marisela were super helpful Marisela helped me right away and she even put my favorite music (she could tell I was nervous) I showed him what I wanted, and he gave me exactly that. After looking at so many instagrams, tiktok reels, facebook market place lol I finally stumbled upon Priscila (Inkmonic) -- right away I loved her energy, her patience in talking about the design, and making the imaginative idea come to life.
