It's only natural that I tell you guys about him. I've seen him in action on several occasions, and I gotta tell ya... He is a PHENOMENAL photographer, one that I take many cues & pointers from myself. He's got a style like no other in the Jersey area. There is no "specialty" in his repertoire. While his primary focus is the MODELING industry, that isn't the only notch under his belt. He's pretty freakin' primo when it comes to weddings & other settings (hey, that rhymed). He doesn't just shoot models... He does family portraits, lingerie shoots, kid's shots, and much more. But if you are indeed a model, he'll make a super-wicked comp card. I've seen 'em, bruh. If you take a look at MY photo with this review, you'll see the quality of his work. He managed to make MY weird mug look kinda cute! Lol. Seriously, though... He has amassed a dope following for his work in portraits, events, and even editorial photography. What's great about this dude is that he doesn't just SHOOT the photos, but he's highly skilled in directing his subjects & models, and making them feel incredibly comfortable in front of a camera. Not many photogs have the ability (nor the patience) to truly connect with a subject and make them 'pop' and shine for portraits. Ravi has a great eye for detail, as well... I know there is a very thin line between vulgar photos and classy yet, sexy boudoir pictures. I knew exactly what I did NOT want - the same old shots with fake chandeliers, ugly wall paper, zebra, or leopard print curtains and forced sexiness. The people that I initially called did not have the style I was looking for and were absolutely not affordable either. I was about to give up when I found Provocouture Boudoir. They did not have any reviews online, but had stunning photos. I was very skeptical yet drawn toward the refreshing style of the photos. I made a note of their phone number and called them the next day. Ravi, the lead boudoir photographer, promptly picked up the phone and walked me through his previous work in fashion and beauty. What honestly worked for me were his examples of people captured with some sort of movement in them while in nice lingerie or fabric. The phone conversation helped me able to envision myself in those poses and I quickly booked my appointment before I lost my courage to get these photos done. The shoot was scheduled 2 weeks from the day I spoke to them. I planned 4 different looks for my shoot with their team and knew exactly what I needed to bring and what they would be providing. I went to my own makeup artist and got my make up there to my liking since I have been using the same person for all my makeup needs. On the day of the shoot, I was greeted by warm, friendly people and felt like I was meeting up with old friends. They are silly, funny, warm but made me work. I enjoyed every minute of the session. Since everything was preplanned, all that I did was have fun at the shoot. They showed me almost all the photos right away and I honestly could not believe that it was me. I was very conscious of the way my arms and thighs looked, every girl's nightmare I guess. (not their mistake LOL) They said they would take care of it in post retouches. I get a certain number of photo shop edits with the package. They told me they would have the edits ready in 2 weeks, but I got them in less than 10 days. The final photos blew my mind! They captured the sexy me efficiently and effortlessly while letting me having fun. I must have looked at my own images a few hundred times! Some of you (or all of you) may relate with this...you know how you have an image of yourself in your head, and that image would look super-confident after a really nice cut and color? This shoot as given me several times that confidence overnight. I feel great about myself and I am writing this so you can also feel that way. If you are wondering about price, I paid $495 for my package and feel like I got a GREAT value. Call these guys while they are still affordable and available :-) They are AWESOME!
