We struck wedding-photographer-gold with Jashim, no question! Super talented, has a great eye for…read moreinteresting, creative (but not overly artsy) shots. Our wedding pictures are fantastic! A combo of non-cheesy poses, fun candids + simple décor shots. With the posed shots, it took a while to trust Jash's directions (2 one-hour pre-wedding sessions actually!). Poses felt awkward. But he knows what he's doing; the pictures came back looking natural. Without those sessions to allow us to get used to the camera, the wedding day would've been a lot less comfortable. The day-of, Jashim arrived + went straight to work. Other than the few times he purposely pulled us aside to get specific shots, he went unnoticed. We went about our evening; he captured it all without getting in the way. His turnaround is fast. He had a few teaser pictures on his blog within 2 weeks, the balance online 2 weeks later. His prices are very fair + competitive. He made himself available, easily reachable to answer questions, bounce ideas off of, etc... Didn't show any impatience/frustration (even though I was a very needy bride!). Having first obsessed over Jash's blog and now our pictures, I can tell that in addition to his style and to some degree his personality, he also reflects the couple's personality in each pic very well. He doesn't take cookie-cutter pictures, and while there is definitely a common Jashim thread, they are all very different from each other. I know ours represent us and our wedding perfectly. The one thing I would maybe complain about now (if this even is a complaint) is that the pictures are so great, I can't get enough of them and I want more, more, more!!! Couldn't be happier with Jashim. We had high expectations; with no videographer, it was crucial that the photos come back PERFECT! He didn't just meet them; he exceeded them by far. We were fortunate to have been selected as part of a trial run in his family documentary section, and I will say that this guy definitely knows what he's doing and has not only an eye for quality but a passion for photography that's clear in each image he captures! Jashim spent a long long day with us as a family, and that's not always easy for someone who isn't use to being around children. Immediately he took the time to connect with my kids, ages 4 and 7, and took the time to make them comfortable and put them at ease as he cautiously took snaps of them both candid and posed. He was able to capture our family dynamics, and when we looked back at the images, we were so happy with them. They were outside and beyond the typical posed family portraits, the pictures had life and a story behind it, and I can't thank Jashim enough for his hard work and efforts behind it. If you're ever in the lookout for a photographer who not only is looking to take a few pics, but wants to give you a personal experience, definitely recommend Jashim. Listen, I am an absolute mush over my 8 pound Bichon, to have her posing with Santa?! Be still my heart. We arrived at their Huntington Village location early. We walk up the stairs and check in. Then, we start dressing our baby in a Santa hat. Sooo cute! I ordered Christmas cards with my baby on the cover. My sons? Gimme grandchildren or get to Steppin'! For now it's all about my baby girl. So let me start by a few strong points of him, as well as my honest review. -Professionalism: Danny has been doing this a while, and I felt that everything he does, he wants quality, perfection, and I can really tell he took pride in his works. Danny constantly asked about my vision of the wedding, how I wanted it to be, gave advices about the settings, planned ahead and walked me through. He has been to so many weddings and he gave me his honest observations such as when it comes to family photos it wasn't a chaos trying to find everyone; and he would spend some hours prior to the wedding at the venue trying to figure out which spots are great for photos. -Communication: I started reaching out to him about a year before the wedding, and Danny was very responsive, I get the answers right away within the day. -Quality: Danny always tries to capture the best moments, there were a few times I saw he was just sitting down to get a drink for a few seconds and he was on his feet again. The photos came out better than I expected. -Danny brings a very energetic vibe to the party. He wasn't just some guy you hire just to show up, snaps a few hundreds photos and then meh whatever. The day before my wedding, he said he wanted to take some photos at Valley of Fire, which is an hour away, I asked him if he was sure since it was super hot especially in suits and wedding gowns, and it was kinda far! He went "This is your wedding, I want you to have a great memory. Don't worry". I mean, this guy flew from East Coast to Las Vegas, arrived a few days early to look for places for my pre-wedding photos. He drove to Valley of Fire the day before and said this was it. I don't know if I ever met any photographer with that kind of energy. Ok this part is about my honest/suggestions for people who haven't met Danny yet. Since he wants perfection, quality and best photos: he often will direct you and your guests so that he can capture everything. To us, we were totally for it, I'm not a professional in photography or know anything about it. And there's someone who already planned and did everything? I am so…read morehappy I went with her instead of one of the other more mentioned photographers (like the overpriced Jenerations!) I did a boudoir shoot for my fiance recently as a wedding gift. The moment I met Susan at her studio, I knew I wanted to book her. She has the most amazing personality. She is down to earth, friendly, and sweet. I loved her right off the bat - which is super important when you're about to be almost naked in front of someone! First off, the fact that she has a studio was super attractive to me. So many boudoir photographers have to either shoot you in your house, or you have to rent a hotel room. I live with my fiance, so I could not have a photographer traipsing through my apartment, and a nice hotel (nice enough to appear in pictures at least) can be expensive! Her studio is a large and beautiful place. She has vintage pieces of furniture, vanities, beds, sofas, different lights, and the most adorable changing area. In the changing area, she has some props, shoes, and outfits, if you need something extra. Throughout the shoot Susan is encouraging and directing you. She plays whatever kind of music you like, and she actually gets into the poses for you. She will do anything to get the perfect shot - there were times she was on the ground, on a ladder, she was like spider woman!! The shoot went amazing!!! I cannot state emphatically enough how fantastic she is. She actually left the studio while the make up artist she commissioned for me did my hair and make up, and brought back water and fruit. I had a marathon shoot, and she never complained and just continued to be cheerful and encouraging throughout the entire process. We reviewed my photos via internet and phone, and it was quick and simple. I had such a wonderful time that I can definitely see using her for family photography (in the not so distant future, lol!), and I'm recommending her to all of my friends. This was definitely my longest "good review", but definitely well deserved, use Susan for boudoir, family, and child photography. She is worth every cent :-)
