My friend is the AVERAGE size of an American girl which is exactly why we loved Love and Lace Bridal just so much. She had SO many different dresses to try on. Ones that she imagined herself in, ones that she tried on for the heck of it, and THE ONE. She went with a STUNNING dove gray, and white dress and looked like an absolutely movie star. I called and was able to make a same-day appointment.The shop is a small but darling one located in Old Town Spring at the very back of a long building behind the doll hospital. Arlean was my consultant, and she was so sweet and knowledgeable! She guided me to find which styles I liked for my bridesmaids. We talked about which dresses would coordinate with my dress (I showed her a picture of me in it), which dresses would work for the various body types of my bridesmaids (I went without them), and which dresses would work in the color I wanted. Arlean was so helpful and pleasant as I tried on the dresses and as my mom tried on dresses to get mother-of-the-bride ideas. Definitely recommend! Tip: Plan to spend some extra time in Old Town Spring if you're going on the weekend, so go early to get a parking spot! Also, keep in mind Amore is not going to have everything on display that it's able to order for you, but it's incredibly helpful to get ideas.
