Tried this place based on reviews. 1 star for nice salon 1 star for pleasant manicurist Zero stars for actual manicure, callus, cuticle and stain removal Manicure of gel chipped in 4 days because she didn't put the polish at the end of the nail as well as the top. Callus: Instead of using pumice or some other known and effective device, they use some kind of wand with a spinning metal tip that can easily burn your skin, which it did twice and my heel calluses are so bad that my foot is sticking in my carpet. Cuticle removal didn't really happen at all. So all that dead skin around the nail is still there. read more

Not what I expected! This lady who did my nails(nicole) does not know how to do MARBLE nails! Wish I took a pic before getting them redone somewhere else! It looked like a kid drew on my nails! When I told her what shape I wanted, she was telling me to look up a picture of what kind of shape I wanted(hello I just told you I wanted almond) Worst experience! She needs some more training on how to do nails in general! She charged me a lot and added on things that she made up! I wish I never went there, huge waste of time and money! On the plus side, everyone was very nice, they didn't charge me for my gel manicure, and they apologized profusely for the botched job I got. On the other hand, I didn't even get a proper manicure. They didn't deal with my cuticles or soak my nails, or even shape my nails before they started the gel process. Not going back. read more

I wish I could give 5 stars but unfortunately, I just can't. There were so many great aspects to the service that I would actually go back even though I was unhappy with the end results. First off, I was a walk in and the technician came in early just to accommodate me... I was super impressed and very appreciative of her coming in early. I asked for a full set of pink/white and a pedicure. Pedicure... was wonderful. I have no complaints about it and it was probably one of the top 5 pedicures I've ever had especially in the pampering department. I was so relaxed and the tech told me she went a little longer than normal because I was enjoying it so much. Unfortunately, the full set of pink and whites were disappointing. The tech did a great job soaking off the old acrylic without doing any further damage to my natural nails, which made me happy as I have had less than stellar experiences in the past at other salons with this. But I left with inconsistent curves in the white crescents (some were almost straight across some were nicely curved and a couple weren't even smooth). Several of the nails had significant lumps and bumps. I just felt that after almost 2 hours there shouldn't be any lumps at the very least. I ended up needing to reshape, buff and clear polish them myself after I got home. I've attached before and after pictures for comparison. That being said, the shop was great, the women were friendly and fun and I felt very comfortable and included in the chatty fun atmosphere. It didn't feel like the assembly line/factory type that so many salons have become. I would definitely return, but I would be more assertive and not leave until I was 100% happy. I felt like I spent a significant amount of money and gave a pretty healthy tip and still needed to go home and do my best to fix them. All in all, it's a great shop with a great vibe. I'd heard so many great things about them that I was surprised and disappointed at the unexpected results. read more

I have a really tight schedule due to working 2 jobs & she will do whatever she can to fit me in. I have been going to Nicole for years and have never had anything but a great experience with no complaints. Without fail, I get stopped and complimented on my nails all the time asking where I have them done. As a psoriasis patient and someone who has a chronic hereditary form of ingrown nails, she takes wonderful care of me. I have even been told by my podiatrist to continue seeing my nail tech as she is doing a great job keeping nail issues at bay, cutting them properly, etc. Nicole is professional, very talented, and creative- bringing client's (and my) nail requests to life. She prides herself in providing stellar services and doesn't provide less than in order to rush in unexpected customers. I always look forward to my bi-monthly appointments with Nicole! This place kicks ass! It's totally cute inside. It reminded me a lot of a cool/funky/teenage girl's bedroom. Complete with all sorts of jewelery for sale, handbags (the kind you get at purse parties), good music, and just an over all comfy atmosphere. The girls are all super cute and chatty. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but that's because they use good quality product. (just ask them to tell you about the chemicals they use, and any one of them can go into great detail as to what/why/etc) It's been a while, but that last time I went this place was also offering beauty classes in Make-up Application in the evenings. (usually once per month) They also specialize in some pretty cool nail art techniques. I'm actually pretty surprised that there aren't more reviews for this place here on Yelp. I have been going to Jen for 8 years. Need I say more? They have an incredible assortment of gel polish colors: ~150. Jen is a perfectionist and treats every nail with the utmost care. She makes my nails so pretty and strong, and the gel polish never chips. I get compliments on my nails constantly. Chantel, the owner, is always sweet and welcoming. Lindsay does my "gel toes," and they are perfect. My best friend goes to Jen here as well to get acrylics, and she loves them. Jen does gorgeous work whether you want gel polish or acrylics, simple or crazy, long or short. So, if you want a perfect manicure or pedicure, call and make an appointment. I thought this place was great........ except for one thing. I had made my appointment with Diane, but when I got there she said she was running late. Another girl (Jo) started prepping me while Diane "finished up". But it was apparent that she had just started a pedicure. Jo actually ended up finishing my nails, which was fine, but I didn't like that fact that my appointment was ignored. Other than that it was great. Jo was kind of new so all of the other manicurists helped her out and the atmosphere was really great. It took a while (2.5 hours for my full set), but that was ok, I wasn't in a rush. All in all I really liked the place and would go back again, but would make my appointment with Jo or Renee next time. read more

I went here on a recommendation from and friend and saw Jennifer. She was really great at shaping - wow! They have Shallac and Gelish as well as acrylic. They do waxing and massage as well. I got a Shellac manicure and it looked great when I left but a few hours later it lifted on me and my whole manicure was destroyed (Note: I'm an anomaly though - everything lifts on me including acrylics). The atmosphere was nice and clean which is always a plus. The ladies are chatty and pleasant. They also have a whole bunch of glitter options for some really beautiful designs! I love love love this place I have been looking for a good nail salon for a long time. I love that I can make appointments and not have to wait around, I get glitter tips and they have stacks of containers with all kinds of different glitters to choose from. They don't rush you either, they let you take your time and pick out exactly what you want. They offer all the latest trendiest kind of nail products. I see Chantel, she is really awesome! I also have seen Diane she is super good. My friends has gone to Renee and Jennifer. I have never seen bad nails come out of the place. The decor is clean and trendy.
