This was my best friend's third and final shop to try on dresses at and by far the worst experience. The appointment was in total 20 minutes. We were told we could look around and pick, or the stylist could pick. After asking a few questions we chose the stylist choosing them since she knows the inventory best. Well she chose mostly styles that weren't quite the vibe we were going for which was totally not her fault, so I went to look since the bride really wanted to try some things more within her style. I was told very rudely by someone at the front that I needed to go back to my "suite" because other people are trying things on. First off, there was literally nobody there at that time and I was not even close to other people. Secondly, there's a way to say something. Third, another group of girls was fully standing in our "suite" while my best friend was trying on dresses. So that's hilarious. Also the space is extremely small. So calling them suites is a joke. We drove an hour away for a 20 minute appt. It seemed like the stylist found out my friend lived in another state and had found a dress she really liked elsewhere and really tried to rush us out. Overall an extremely awkward and quick experience which is so disappointing. Would absolutely not recommend this place. Wish I could get my 25 bucks back.

She truly listened to what I liked and disliked about different dresses to help curate a selection of dresses to try on. She kept the appointment flowing smoothly and adapted quickly as I came to realize what I actually wanted in a wedding dress. She was incredibly personable and easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They only take so many appointments at one time so it's very personal and not a mad house compared to other popular bridal shops. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily this was such a relief. My associate Riley was such an angel, I could tell she really cared about my experience and made me feel heard and helped me articulate different things about the dresses to narrow down what I did or didn't like. She and the other associate who popped in occasionally (I didn't catch her name, but she was so wonderful to) really helped me get into dresses and made sure they looked right on me, and as a plus size bride with fewer options typically, they really did a wonderful job. They made me feel like I belonged and was deserving of a great experience and beautiful gown which meant a lot to me. They ran around pulling gowns, showing me skirts and using fabric to change the color - it was really cool and fun! They took my measurements and recommended that I order the dress custom cut from the designer, which was a great suggestion (less work altering the dress). Now she says I'm just complaining to get money. The best thing for me would be for no other bride to go through the stress and gaslighting I suffered through this process. AVOID Lana Addison and the sister store Alexia's unless you are very thin, rich, and extremely vocal about your opinion. They then looked to me for guidance on what size to order.....I thought the point of a fitting was for them to tell us what size to order. ESPECIALLY if you can give us sizes to try on in a similar style/fabric. End result, the dresses just arrived and one is too small. I went in (to her BEAUTIFUL store in Apex BTW), she pinned it quickly, attached some snaps to the bodice so it would stay close to my bra, and had it all done in under a week. I picked it up today, and it was perfectly fitted once more :D Larisa was lovely to work with, accommodating, helpful, went above and beyond to help me out one week before my wedding, AND ON TOP OF THAT the work was HIGH QUALITY and even better than some of the alterations I had done in NY. I booked Larissa with hopes that she'd be able to help me with my bridesmaid dress from Revelry for…read morea wedding in May. The dress I ordered was way too big and needed the bust, waist and some length taken off on the bottom. Once I got there and put on the dress, she pinched the side of the dress with just her fingers, asked me where else I wanted it to get taken in, then went to write up an estimate. She didn't pin it, she didn't take chalk to the bottom to know how much to alter too. When she came back she said it would be too expensive. I asked her what the price would be, because that wasn't very clear. She said it would cost $310 to alter everything. I asked her how much it would be to keep the length and just take the sides and bust, she replied " well how are you going to walk?". I figured I would be able to take the length myself and have her take in the rest, as it's only a french seem at the bottom of the dress. However, I was a little taken back by the comment and decided to find another place to get my alterations done as her step price seemed a little too steep for me. The next day I booked an alterations at Nordstrom,and they quoted me $110 dollars for everything I asked for from Larisa. I have no doubt that Larissa is very skilled however, I feel like the price for alterations was a little too steep in my opinion for a bridesmaid dress.
