Studio 24 - Add-On ticket to a private space with its own bathroom and bar.
    Jesus G.

Was one of the lucky people to be there for the opening day of Studio 24, their add-on ticketed space with its own bar and bathroom space. Staff were friendly and helpful, the drinks were good - the pineapple Negroni was pretty tasty and enjoyable. Opening day meant there were some logistical issues getting the place going, with different answers to basic questions given depending upon who you asked. The ticket also granted access to the balcony. The balcony space had a good video but the little rail to settle your drinks only worked well for things in small cups. I got a water and it felt like it was a risk to have it on the rail since if it fell it would hit someone on the head. All in all, decent night!

Got the chance to see a concert here (two feet) and really liked the venue. Super clean, orderly, and smooth process to get in. Some bars inside, upstairs, general floor and similar to ace of spades you can get a good "standing" seat to see the artist. If it's not a packed show lots of space to dance in the back.

I've had the opportunity to see several shows at Channel 24, and it's honestly been a seamless experience each time. From scanning IDs, scanning tickets, occasionally getting my phone locked into a pouch per the artists request, and getting my bag searched, I've never had longer than a 10 minute wait to get inside. I usually bring a refillable bottle, and they have two fountain stations on the first floor by each door. Bathrooms are also kept clean throughout the shows, and the merch line is tucked against the wall so the crowds can stay moving. As a shorty, I really like the upper levels. It's largely standing room unless you upgraded for a seat, but on any of the three upper levels, there are plenty of unobstructed views and room to dance. Security in the front row sometimes passes out water to those at the rail, but not at all shows. The shows I attended all started on time, though the start time may change from the time you buy your ticket to actual show day. The sound system has also been consistently good - especially with bass heavy shows I've attended. And the lasers are 100/10 (but will depend on your artist). I like that there bars inside (lower level) and outside the main room (upper level), and there's even an outside patio if you need fresh air. I hate that canned drinks are like $20 after tax and tip. And public transit is not really an option, like the venue pushes for, because shows typically end an hour after the last train. Parking through the venue's partners is atrocious ($30? For a 4 hour show? In Sac?), and the neighborhood becomes a madhouse at midnight when everyone is let out searching for their rideshare. The neighborhood surrounding the venue is definitely impacted by this, newly installed 1-hr parking signs be damned. I'm grateful for Channel 24 joining the entertainment scene, and look forward to more artists making their way to our city!

This was a cool venue. Easy access to the bathrooms downstairs. Full bars, with nice bartenders. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Had a great time with the family at a concert.

Amazing venue. It's located in the heart of that Midtown-East Sac border. The parking situation is mainly street parking but there is a parking lot nearby. I believe that most of the street parking is like 1 or 2 hour max so read the signs! The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Being a new venue, it is very well built. It feels modern but also has a sort of charm that is needed for a divey venue. There are no bad viewing angles here! The "pit" is all standing room only in the bottom. The top area does have seats and also a standing area. The quality of talent that is stopping by here is so good. The acoustics are great and the lighting looks so cool. The bars are streamlined and modern. I am so happy that Another Planet Entertainment (APE) has a venue in Sac. Means less trips to the bay finally Bottom line/TLDR: great music venue in a good location!

Cool venue. There is a parking lot next door which is super helpful for $30, or you can find street parking. The Ch24 workers are all very pleasant and welcoming. The merch line and the bar line might look intimidating but no worries, they move fast. The place is really well managed. I only bought a water and the price wasn't terrible. $6 for can of water. Once inside the hall, there are standing balconies, I believe 3 of them and then the floor. We were on the floor close to the stage. By the time we got inside the balcony spots were all taken. Get there early if you want to be on the balcony. The sound system was great. The lights were fine. I wasn't a huge fan of the lighting at our show but I imagine it was the bands design choice. Overall it's a pretty cool venue. I look forward to being back.

Durand Jones and The Indications - 10/24/25

We visited Channel 24 for the first time on Friday to see Durand Jones and The Indications! It was a sold out show, but some how it didn't feel super crowded. The security line moved super fast, so did the bar and merchandise lines! This show was General Admission with a small VIP section and being as I am short, I did have a hard time seeing the stage at times, but the sound and lighting setup were so good! Their audio was some of the best I've heard inside a venue! I don't believe that they serve food - I didn't see anyone eating, but their drink prices weren't terrible either. I was just impressed with the vibe of Channel 24 and it felt like they genuinely wanted to show people a good time rather than charge people and arm and a leg for everything! Highly suggest taking Uber or park further away if you don't mind walking! I will be back in December to see Josh Johnson! Check them out!

I don't frequent a lot of concerts/music venues but had a great time seeing Jesse McCartney at Channel 24. My sister and I arrived close to show time and there was hardly a line to get in despite it being a sold out show. Ticket scan and security was super quick! There's restrooms upstairs and downstairs. My friend was able to snag limited balcony seats for us and it was worth the upgrade to not have to stand for 3 hours. The view was great from the balcony! Music was loud and I wish I thought to buy earplugs. Highly recommend either parking further away, carpooling, rideshare, or light rail as their website suggests. The main street was most crowded after the show ended, but the next block over wasn't busy at all.

We saw Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit last night. First time checking out this new venue and I have to say WOW Sacramento, great job. (I am sure those living nearby aren't pleased with the impacts on parking and hope the city is stepping up enforcement for them, I used to live in midtown and it's a real issue). That being said, the experience was pretty spectacular. Sound system is great, not overcrowded, in and out quickly, I didn't get a drink but the lines didn't seem too bad. If you're planning on stopping in at the Round Corner for their fantastic tacos ahead of time, allow yourself a good 90 minutes- it's pretty packed ahead of the show. PS. If you're the person filming on your phone after the artist you've paid to see asked you not to- you're an asshole. Just don't.

Venue - very spacious and I loved the upstairs area. Some seating available but wasn't sure if it was first come first serve and lot of standing areas, esp if you're short! Clean and friendly workers. A couple bars inside by the stage and a bar upstairs. Parking - hard to find as a lot of the street parking are time limited, 24/7. I used Park Whiz to find a spot for a concert but even then- it was a bad parking lot so save your time and don't park at the parking lot at R street as the spots are super tiny and some will have blocked access. Besides the parking- it's a solid venue!

    Samantha T.

I came here to see Morgan jay with my cousins. I thought the seating was gonna be different it was just folding chairs . The place was packed . There wasn't any parking and although I paid pre paid they still had me park four blocks down the railroad tracks. It was freezing and also you have to get there early for your shower because they don't let you in early . You have to wait in a line outside . I bought 3 margaritas and it came out to $60 dollars and barely had alcohol in it . I'm not one to complain about that cause I'm a bartender and I get it but it was horrible.

We finally saw a band at the new local venue! We went to see We Came As Romans, and it didn't disappoint. The seating was nice, personally I wish there was more seating than the ~200 seats on the upper level, but the balcony leaning section would probably be ok too. If you're interested in someone coming through you might just want to buy tickets as early as possible if you want to sit down, as those will likely be sold out quicker than most. Overall the venue was cool, short time to get in, the sound was really good, and the facilities were nice and clean. I would say the biggest downside are the expensive drinks but I don't think anywhere has cheap drinks at concerts unfortunately. Also this specific show had two separate merch booths, one upstairs and one downstairs, but not sure if every performer will be able to do that.

Came to see Josh Johnson first time, location seems cool, serves alcohol, women's restroom line goes somewhat fast (but there is a line) we were 7 rows back so good seats. Loved the show.

They answered all of our questions super promptly via email and were so great to work with, planning wise. A+ for service! We held our ceremony in the smaller of the two big rooms and the reception in the larger. We had a massive curtain made that was pinned up between the two rooms, to divide the space. This worked ok, though we could have executed it a little better. (Did I mention we planned the wedding from NYC and had friends and family set everything up? LOL). It was rainy and cold. My date had a North Face down jacket the whole time. I was in shorts and a tee shirt as it wasn't cold outside but turned instantly. We sat at a table that was wobbling and had to shove 10 napkins under the leg to stabilize it's rocking. We were only two tables out of 15 tables available. We were seated and after about 10 minutes we were introduced to the waiter. We asked for water and a wine list. He came back with our waters and asked what we would care to order. We placed our order and requested a bottle of wine. I also requested that the overhead gas heater be turned on, he said he would check. We were watching the other table get their wine and beer and wondered where our bottle of wine was. Our order came out after about 20 minutes and we enjoyed the food. We ordered a pizza and a chicken Parm sandwich. When the order arrived , we were not given any plates so we had to use napkins to set our slices on. We were 3/4 through the meal and the water and the waiter came by to check on the meal with us, asked if we needed anything else and realized he forgot the wine. Since we were almost done we canceled the wine order. The heater was never turned on and we were cold. This was a very poor dining experience needless to say. In this day and age of expensive prices and servers expecting a minimum of 25% we left very deflated. Now, to the credit of the server he did send two glasses of wine over as an apology for the mishap. But, I must say we left with half the meal in a box because the heaters were not turned on. I can't say I'll be returning anytime soon. The attention to detail was not present from the staff.
