Sex on the alley, just try it ladies.

I'm not a drinker but it's mainly because it usually tastes horrible. I came here randomly with some friends and let me tell youuuuuu, aside from the bar tender being a total sweetheart and giving the best drink referral, this is a very clean bowling alley. Employees do their job and everyone is nice and attentive. They have security as well. I ordered sex in the alley and it was nicely priced but the FLAVOR? Oh it was amazing! I ended up drinking two! Everyone around me was shocked because I never drink but that's just how good the drink was. I wish I remember the bar tenders name so I could shout her out.

First time here. Was really fun. Great for group gatherings minus the sticky floors. Food was yummy and drinks are strong.

The bowling part of the experience was perfect no complaints there. The bar however was at first a little slow and then a new bartender came in and she seemed to speed things up and make great drinks so thank you. Food came out pretty quickly after we ordered and it was good. Get the garlic fries.

Bar service was phenomenal. We were greeted upon entry even though they were busy. Noticing we were there to watch the raiders game, he turned up the column for us. We ordered the new curly fries. They were good and crispy, but didn't arrive hot. Maybe they just cool off quickly in the seasoning process, but we thought that was odd. My husband got the Long Island and I got a water. Both were good. This is a great place to catch a game. We'll be back.

I went here for a family get together for a birthday party. It was the absolute most fun for the kids. I love that they have a Photo Booth there my niece and my granddaughter were able to take photos together. That'll last a lifetime. Prices are pretty good in decent. They also have a full bar. Their food is really delicious. I'm gonna look for my photos to load since this was a long time ago when I went earlier this year I just hadn't got the chance to make my review yet.

Celebrated my brother's 35th birthday here with my him and our cousins! It was our first time here and we had such a good time. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, the food was good, and the playlist was on hit! We will definitely be back.

Fairly new Sacramentoans and was excited to check out a local bowling spot! Hubby and I came on a Thursday afternoon. First impression when walking through front door: "oooh, this is nicer than I expected"! Felt newer than any other bowling alleys we've been in lately. Place felt clean, welcoming, and fun. It wasn't busy at all and we were excited to see that happy hour stated at 3p. Scoring features were fun and lanes were smooth and well maintained. Ordered a well drink (tasted very well - you get what you pay for lol) and the balsamic chips were a good idea just wish chips were served warm. Bathrooms were clean! $8 per game and $4 for shoes. there were special at certain hours and certain days. Will add to our local spots to visit regularly!

Really cool place to bowl and grab a bite to eat. Capitol Bowl is located in West Sacramento. It was within walking distance of Homes 2 Suites where I'm staying. I was joined by 2 other co-workers for an hour of bowling. It's $49 per hour and $5 for the shoes. A little steep but I came to bowl. We ordered food from the bar and they delivered it to the table for us. I got the mozzarella cheese sticks with warm marinara sauce. Evan got the cheese burger with sweet potatoe fries. We ate and bowled. There is great music playing in the background. Everyone there was having fun and just enjoying themselves. Much needed relaxing time before tomorrow's big training session.

Vodka tonic before the competition begins!

Whether it's playing against my son on a video game or trying to see if I can keep up with a 20 something weight training in the gym, I love healthy competition. Therefore, I was ecstatic when a friend of mine invited my wife and I for a double date at the bowling alley. I have heard nothing but good things about this bowling alley, so I was looking forward to checking it out. While awaiting the arrival of my friend and his wife, my wife and I decided to pass time by ordering a drink at the bar. We were really impressed by not only the setup of the bar, but the fact that there was plenty of comfortable booths for folks that did not want to sit at the bar (also for those that ordered food). The bartender was friendly and made us two pretty stiff vodka tonics (I'm not complaining). After having additional drinks when our friends arrived, we headed to our reserved lane to begin bowling. In comparison to a bowling alley that my wife and I recently visited (I reviewed it earlier this year if you would like to know the name of the alley), this alley had a wide range of bowling balls. The other patrons were friendly and everyone abided by the unspoken rule of not bowling when the person in the lane next to them was in process of doing so. After our first game ended, there was a smooth transition into the second game (no need to contact the front desk for assistance). While waiting his turn, my friend brought back some perfectly fried French fries from the bar. Overall, we had a great experience here. We felt safe, and it was definitely inviting to see families enjoying themselves. Although not in close proximity to our home, we will definitely return in the near future for a family bowling night. Thank you Capitol Bowl!

We started planning a little closer to our wedding date in November 2009 (only 7 mo. of planning). Our wedding date was 5/30/10 - Memorial Day Weekend. She helped us find a ceremony and reception location (sending us a ton of photos via e-mail), secure 2 options for hotels for our out-of-town guests (about 70%), rentals for the ceremony. Helped us with the florist, a hair and make-up person, photographer, photobooth company...everything you could absolutely think of - she gave us at least 2 options based on what we were looking for. We only visited once (for one weekend) before the wedding where she scheduled 2 cake tastings, 2 florist meetings, food tasting (which was Mulvaney's and was AMAZING), trial hair & make-up, and visit to the ceremony location. She also helped me with verbiage and proofing on our wedding invitations, menu and programs - which we made. Kendra is very thorough and worked with all of our vendors. She is also very responsive on phone and e-mail and will respond (usually within 24 hours unless she had a wedding or is on vacation. On the day of our wedding, it is hard to show just how helpful she was since it was perfect and nothing went wrong. Her assistant for the day Jordan was also wonderful - she was always there ready to help and I really appreciated it...especially when I wanted to change out my shoes :o). I highly recommend Kendra with Pfeiffer Event Planning. You can see photos of our wedding on our wedding website: web.me.com/bcsakamoto/Brian&Charlayne/Vendors.html

The production quality in there is just wild, and honestly, no picture I took could ever do justice to how it actually feels to be in that space. You can tell they put so much heart into every tiny detail, making the whole vibe feel completely magical and unlike anywhere else I've been lately. The tiki drinks were absolutely wonderful and arrived with the kind of amazing presentation that makes you want to just stare at them for a minute before diving in. We also snacked on some great little bites that were the perfect pairing for the tropical flavors. Everything about the night felt so intentional and polished, yet it still had that warm, enchanting energy that made it feel like a real escape. It was easily one of those standout nights where the atmosphere and the drinks come together to create something truly special.

It's right under Stage Nine, so it's very fun to shop around and take in all the disney energy, including the amazing art gallery and memorabilia right before you go into the speakeasy door. As someone who loves fruity drinks and tiki bars, the lava flow I had was honestly mid. The lime definitely overpowered the drink and didn't taste much like the mentioned tropical flavors. I thought it would be similar to the usual smoothie or that the dole whip would make it yummy and creamier. It was mostly ice and separated textures with a couple sips of sour juice. Not worth the $25 with automatic gratuity. I'd opt for another drink.

It was rainy and cold. My date had a North Face down jacket the whole time. I was in shorts and a tee shirt as it wasn't cold outside but turned instantly. We sat at a table that was wobbling and had to shove 10 napkins under the leg to stabilize it's rocking. We were only two tables out of 15 tables available. We were seated and after about 10 minutes we were introduced to the waiter. We asked for water and a wine list. He came back with our waters and asked what we would care to order. We placed our order and requested a bottle of wine. I also requested that the overhead gas heater be turned on, he said he would check. We were watching the other table get their wine and beer and wondered where our bottle of wine was. Our order came out after about 20 minutes and we enjoyed the food. We ordered a pizza and a chicken Parm sandwich. When the order arrived , we were not given any plates so we had to use napkins to set our slices on. We were 3/4 through the meal and the water and the waiter came by to check on the meal with us, asked if we needed anything else and realized he forgot the wine. Since we were almost done we canceled the wine order. The heater was never turned on and we were cold. This was a very poor dining experience needless to say. In this day and age of expensive prices and servers expecting a minimum of 25% we left very deflated. Now, to the credit of the server he did send two glasses of wine over as an apology for the mishap. But, I must say we left with half the meal in a box because the heaters were not turned on. I can't say I'll be returning anytime soon. The attention to detail was not present from the staff.
