    Chang's Super Fried Rice
    Henry V L.

Chang's is located near FIU in a very beautiful plaza. The Chinese food here is of super high quality and the portions are huge. The food is also inexpensive. We had a group of 10, and we paid 20$ a person for all the dishes below. This is a great place to eat family style and lets you try new dishes. But is it me?...or everything we ordered came with shrimp. Haha We ordered dishes like: -tofu (super crunchy, surprisingly good) -salt pepper wings (chopped up and so crispy and easy to eat -combination lo mien (big shrimps made the dish scrumptious) -2x changs super fried rice ( which had a lot of protein but wasn't good at the time of the restaurant. But when we got home and warmed it up it was good) -eggplant - never ate an eggplant dish before but this was good -salt pepper seafood - had scallops, squid , and shrimp -crab wontons- I ate like 3 of these, super addicting -walnut shrimps - good dish but ate more of the broccoli from it since we had so much shrimp lol Note: the menu items could be named something else on the menu , but those are my description. Service is hit or miss but as soon as you order, food comes out quick!

Underwhelming!!! Thought this place would be great but all the food is lacking serious flavor. Everything tastes so plain I was very disappointed. Wont be back. Very large portions. Salt and pepper tofu very squishy it is homemade but I like tofu extra firm so I didnt enjoy it. Service attentive and friendly.

    13. Honey Chicken Lunch Special

Decided to order here for lunch today. I got the the honey garlic chicken with special fried rice ($3 up charge for the special fried rice). Upon entry to Chang's I noticed it smelled nice and looked very clean. I went ahead to the front counter and picked up my order. When I got home I couldn't help but be a little disappointed because there was only 8 pieces of chicken. For $15 I was expecting a little more quantity to the meal. The fried rice was very tasty and fresh. Only one packet of duck sauce and soy sauce was given which is fitting due to the amount of food they give you. I'd come back here but only when I'm craving special fried rice.

This place was good. The restaurant was empty when we went to we got very quick service. Our food came very quick! The food was good and we got a good portion amount. The chicken had a lot of breading.

I went with a large group, but we separated into different tables and all the tables ordered separately. The server couldn't separate the checks by table, which was so strange... The food was very average. Good quantities but barely any flavors to differentiate the dishes. At one point, my cousin had accidentally spilled water and our server gave us 2 napkins. I had to keep getting up myself to the counter to get more napkins and silverware. Good place if you want to get your money's worth.

Had a wonderful family dinner here, and when I say family, there were 30 or more people, and they served us with gusto. The food came fast and hot, there were no missed orders and the food was great. The place was clean and had minimal decorations. Restrooms were clean and bright. We ordered so much food, but the bill was around 729 including tax and tip, gor 30 or more people that's fairly inexpensive.

Stopped here for a light dinner after a lecture at FIU. It's just across the street. We chose a minced beef cream soup. The waitress explained that the "cream" was from cornstarch, not dairy. It was delicious. We also chose the seafood hotpot. Another great choice. We had enough to bring home and enjoy another time. The waitress was great helping us make choices. As to ambiance, it's a bright restaurant. The prices are quite reasonable. And where else can you find a tank with live eels?

    Ed W.

Food was really good. Restaurant is unpretentious and food is abundant. Service was fast and attentive. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food it's served. Hot and sour soup was tasty and not too spicy. I ordered the szechuan chicken which should be spicy but it wasn't. I guess it is more American spicy than true szechuan. Next time I will make sure it come as it should (very spicy ) Overall it was very good. I will be coming back here for sure to try new dishes.

This place is so good! I absolutely love the Singapore noodles & pretty much everything else.

Also come 3 per order. We loved both and were happy with flavor, seasoning. Especially how fast the food came out. I would call this a small restaurant. The space is very casual with ample seating. As soon as you're seated, you get offered hot tea and water. The hot tea is good. The waiter provided some great suggestions. To eat, I tried the fried shrimp taro cake, fried crab rangoon, pan fried pork dumplings and special lomein. The fried shrimp taro cake was the best thing I've tried that day. It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish. Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. This is definitely a place I would return when I'm craving Chinese food.

But oh did it fill my craving for dim sum. This place definitely fulfills a dim sum and szechuan food craving. An extensive menu is available and the food that is executed is... above acceptable. I ordered the shui mai, which was good but lacked in filling. Also ordered the shrimp cheung fun or ha cheung (shrimp noodle roll) and it was impossible to eat. The way that it was rolled and sealed made it so the roll fell a piece in parts and it was difficult to eat. Full disclosure, perhaps it was the mode as delivery that compromised the quality. Still, bottom line, I was disappointed. The hot and sour soup was good, with a nice variety of mushrooms and I really liked the pan fried noodles. They truly take pride in their cuisine and their customer service. My favorite go-to is their shrimp and shrimp parsley dumplings. It's a succulent, lightly seasoned shrimp ball, and they are wrapped in a translucent wrapper. It is divine! I've started to order one whole order (brings 4) for myself lol. I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

Dan Dan noodles had so much flavor, chili beef dumplings were thick and juicy, and the pork and shrimp dumplings were cooked perfectly. However when my fiance asked for a check all we got was one of the handheld devices with the total. I thought it was strange when the server said tipping was optional after the tap, and the options were 1%, 3%, and 5%. Since the food and service were great, I wanted to tip 15%, so I changed it to a custom value and did my own math. However when I got my printed receipt, there was a 20% service fee, plus my custom tip of 15%. Being from LA, when restaurants have the mandatory service fee, they usually tell you at the host stand or after you just sat down. I felt like this place was shady although it is in their fine print on their menu. What the server could have done is said "service fee is already included," after the tap, not "tipping is optional." I did like the service, but the 35% tip was not well deserved. I didn't feel like they went above and beyond and like I said, there's a special type of mannerism that I feel was a huge miss about the service fee, which could of been handled more professionally.

This Chinese…read morerestaurant is near my home and I frequently see it, but had never tried it until I noticed that the place I usually go for Chinese food was not on any of my delivery apps. Consequently, when I decided it was a night for takeout and eating in front of the television, I figured why not. Canton Lee has a nice menu with all of the usual Chinese American choices. They have both lunch and combination dinner specials, which are very reasonably priced. But what really struck me was did they list all of my favorite dishes for takeout and they are well priced as well. My mother, a blessed memory, and still the love of Chinese food and me, and she would never start a meal without three distinct things. Wonton soup, spareribs (on the bone, of course), and egg roll. I ordered these items and they're not just tasted great but they were so good thst they even were able to bring back. Great memories (Sidenote: Dad loved pork strips and yatke mein soup which I rarely find these days.). Moving onto the main dishes, I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, which is a mixture of sautéed shrimp and orange chicken. Their iteration is not spicy like I prefer, but it's really good. I love that. The chicken is still crispy even for takeout and is always nice, moist chicken breast. Maybe next time I will ask if they make it spicy. The second Dish that I ordered is Assorted Wonton which is beef, chicken and shrimp. Sautéed in a garlic sauce with pork wontons. The vegetables mixed in are extremely fresh and the sauce is delicious. I like this dish a lot although the wontons are these flat things that are a little bit strange to me and I would prefer the more robust ones I have had at other restaurants. The young chow fried rice is a huge hit for me as it is not only delicious but a huge quantity is packed into the container. Mixed into the rice, our combination of meat, chicken, and seafood, making this a perfect side dish or even main dish. There are many things in the menu I'd like to try but have not gotten around to yet. Regrettably I forgot to take pictures, but will add them at some point. I cannot comment on the ambience. as I have not been to the restaurant. What I can say, however is the both times that I have ordered the food was delivered quicker than expected. It arrives hot. Perhaps the only complaint that I have and it is not a very big one is that when I do the takeout order I check off the box to include utensils and plates, but neither time were they included. Again, not a big deal, but they should not offer that if they're not going to do it. So overall, I'm rating this specifically as a takeout restaurant as this is the only experience I have with them and as far as that goes, they are at the top of my list.

My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again. Although I might just order some honey chicken and skip the rest.
