Purchased 6-PW G410 irons and three Ping G410 hybrids, 19,22,26. Spent a solid amount of $$$ on the Ping clubs via the custom fitting offered by Golftec/Tim B. Trusted that they knew what they were doing. Had a few challenges playing the clubs with a current six handicap. Worked with a MPLS pro who recognized that all of the newly purchased Ping clubs were shortened from standard length with the custom fitting. Used TRACKMAN session to confirm issue (purchased the Callaway Epic Flash driver and three separately and couldn't be more pleased with performance). Asked Golftec about this and they confirmed the conclusion of shortening the clubs. Subsequent action post my Golftec fitting? I had the three Ping hybrids reshafted to "standard length" at Club Champion and purchased Callaway Epic irons with "standard length" to replace my custom fitted set from Golftec. Far better performance as I'm no longer disadvantaged using shortened clubs. Spent lots of $$$ with Golftec to buy custom fitted clubs. Very disappointed with Golftec and Tim B. Objective data via TRACKMAN and playing results verify that I was grossly misfit by Golftec. Be cautious with Golftec given my less than positive experience.

I golf about once or twice a month and was just looking for some help to hit the ball more consistently. Todd was very professional - didn't laugh at my poor swing, and left me with some helpful tips to take home with me. The advice helped and made golfing more fun. The Madison shop was worth the 2hr drive. Thanks Todd!

Don't get me wrong, these workouts aren't a walk in the park. Some of the toughest workouts I've done have been here. The trainers work one on one with you to make sure you're getting the most out of it. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good workout.

They work on transitioning and Dave wants to eventually work on social skills with him in a group setting. My 15 year old who is a 4 sport athlete received an amazing workout. Plenty of seating at the bar--along with a lounge'y space with a cute backdrop for photo-ops! I recall four beers on tap, and no drink specials. However, the menu did have a variety of "upscale" bar food! We ordered a fair amount but I only remember eating the curds (3/5) and fried green beans (5/5), which was my fave! PROS: I loved that we were able to try a variety of activities at our own pace! Each area had seating, enough for 6-7 people (sofas or bar stool/counter). Alcohol wipes were available. Music level was good and lighting slightly dimmed--great ambience! We got to chat with Collin (the owner) about his vision and learned that the simulators can pretty much play anything! This means events held here can be both adult AND kid-friendly--woo hoo! Just try not to bring a stroller here, as it's on the second floor with steep steps. Looking forward to more events here...and to what becomes of the outdoor space! CONS: We came on a Tuesday, so there was only one person working the bar + kitchen. Service was a slow as it got busy, and later into the night. There are only two private restrooms (which were nice and clean!). I can see this being a problem, especially for a place that can hold 100+ people. Will be back for more indoor fun!

We've booked a simulator for several birthdays and other special occasions. They have tons of games to choose from on the simulators; golf, baseball, basketball, zombie dodgeball, soccer, and more! It is so much fun when you get a good simulators! We've noticed that some simulators don't work as well or maybe aren't aligned. Some of the equipment they provide is faulty as well. When everything is working well, it's a 5/5 star experience! They also have food and drinks you can purchase while you are playing. I've only tried one of the appetizers but I haven't tried the rest of the food. The appetizer my group got was delicious and the drinks are always good as well. The bartenders and servers are wonderful as well. They are alway super helpful and friendly. They do have happy hour and other specials as well so keep an eye out for those. Overall, if they make sure the simulators are working properly and replace the broken equipment, 7 Iron would be a consistent 5/5 experience in my opinion.

This is more of a review of Marmot than of Fontana Sports. I bought my first Marmot down jacket…read morehere, and it lasted almost twenty years before the zipper broke. It kept me so warm and toasty in the brutal upper Midwest winters. I discovered the Marmot brand here in the 1990s. Back in the 1990s, Patagonia was not considered as "technical" and as bougie as Marmot and The North Face. Arcteryx either didn't exist or was an obscure brand almost thirty years ago. Now, Patagonia and Arcteryx are off-the-charts insanely priced. Marmot and The North Face are considered "value" brands. In any case, I still buy Marmot; it's better quality and far better value than Patagonia because: 1. Higher down fill power and 2. Higher down fill weight I recently bought a 700-fill down parka from Marmot with 220 grams of down for far less money than a 600-fill down parka with 150 grams of down from Patagonia. I was cold in the Patagonia parka, and it was horribly expensive. I had to return. I also bought coats from Eddie Bauer and from L.L. Bean. Nowhere nearly as warm as Marmot. The Marmot down parka that I recently bought is called the Montreaux Coat, and I've yet to find a warmer coat at such a great price point. It hits my knee, although it's supposed to hit my calf, so that's a bit misleading on their website. It's closer to parka length than coat length. I like that when the zipper broke after almost twenty years of owning my first Marmot down jacket, I called Marmot's Customer Service, they sent me a shipping label, and they said that they would gladly repair the zipper for me, for free. When they couldn't repair the zipper, they just sent me a new Marmot down jacket. So, I wore that complimentary replacement jacket for another ten years before finally buying the Montreaux coat this year almost thirty years after buying my first Marmot down jacket from Fontana Sports.
