And I'm shocked to see that I'm the first person to review her! Good gracious, Dr Hsu is like... she's like the kind of doctor you pray you'll find. Warm, compassionate, understanding. She listens like no other. She spends time with her patients, doesn't rush them, takes thorough notes, thorough histories, and sets comprehensive plans! If you're not seeing Dr. Hsu, the only question you need to ask yourself (besides, "Did I fall on my head?") is, "Why not??!" 2) Having moved to Texas, I am deeply pained by how difficult it is to find an excellent GP. These doctors have more mood swings than all the cast for the entirety of the TV show Dallas! And that's saying... A LOT! What I wouldn't give for a doctor like Dr Hsu. What I wouldn't give for half a doctor like Dr. Hsu! Whether it's the bottom or the top, she's still running circles around these fools. =P 3) I don't know if I expressed it clearly enough, how much I appreciated her as my primary, before we moved away. For months after we left, she continued to prescribe a certain medication for me, a med that was difficult to find the right doctors for. Even though I'm sure it put her in a bit of a spot, she did it without hesitation or complaint. She did it because she wanted me to be okay. Because, as her patient, I came first. It's more than just an oath with Dr Hsu... which isn't to say that that's not enough or important to her, but it's just...she's more giving than she probably should be. That's no weakness, trust me. It's just that she's such an amazing person, it's really hard to put it all into words. If I had two hands full of sparklers, a line of fan dancers, an acoustic amphitheatre filled with rockin' classical, and a blimp overhead with a sign that read, "Dr. Jennie Hsu-Lumetta is the bestest doctor EVER," I still don't think I could do her justice. I had a troubling experience with Keri Powell Therapy on January 10, 2020. I truly loved the…read morecounselor I saw; she is top notch! However, I received a $50 fee for a cancellation that I made on 8/20/19 at 4:56PM. The appointment was set for the very next day on 8/21/19 at 4:00PM. Mind you, I was FIFTY-SIX MINUTES late to cancel the appointment within 24 hours like their office requires. However, as they said she would, Molly, the office manager, called me about the issue I had with their bill not sent to me on time. It turned out that I had a credit of $100 for overpaying, so the $50 covered that late cancellation, and they're paying me $50, which should be in the mail soon. Kudos to KPT for fixing my issue so quickly. The second point I wanted to bring up is that my counselor called me personally to correct the situation! What a light she is, Karen Jones! She helped me with so many troubling things and the worst of which was to stop being so hard on myself!!! Thank you KPT! Keep lighting up clients' worlds and showing them strategies for improving their lives from the inside out!

In Aug of 2022 I went to see Trisha and after our talk I left with hope that I hadn't had for 2 years. It was amazing that someone who I hadn't even met before could care so much to understand me and give me hope as well as the tools to get better. I am now doing very well and have experienced 10 weeks with no depression. I have been so impressed by Trisha's help that I have referred her to several other friends, who have been also impressed with the help they are receiving from her.
