Absolutely love my nails and the service! This was my first time at ChaNails Spa and they definitely did not disappoint! Making an appointment: I called the day before (Friday) to see if I would be able to get an appointment for the next day (Saturday) as I wanted to get my nails done for my anniversary (Sunday), to which they said yes, they had an open slot at 1pm. Service: When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, was shown the list of nail colors I could choose from, and was sat down right after. I had sent a few photos of the nail inspiration I was interested in having done, then Jenny and another nail technician (unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was really sweet) made sure to go over the details with me and to double check the colors (which I greatly appreciated). Once we confirmed that I wanted to do Gel X and the final design, Jenny got straight to my nails and made sure that she took her time to perfect the details for the nails, which was super amazing to see. After 2 hours, I saw the final product and I was absolutely happy with them, they were exactly what I wanted and even hubby loved them! Initial thoughts: I'll be honest, I was a little nervous at first as I know that putting a design on nails can be tricky, especially when replicating another persons work. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the final product, and Jenny did an amazing job and exceeded all expectations! It is exactly like the photo and I couldn't be happier! Final thoughts: All I can say is that I am definitely coming back and if you want to get nail art done perfectly for a great price, this is honestly the place to go. The attention to detail, ability to connect with you, and the price was all worth it. Oh, and they were also running a pretty good promotion when I went, which was if you're a new client (meaning this was the first time getting your nails done with them), you'll get 20% off your first time, and I think they also have a reward system too which is pretty nice! So sorry for the paragraph but honestly, super happy with my nails, they honestly nail(ed) it! Thank you again Jenny and the ChaNails Spa team, I will definitely be back!

First time here - Booked with Matt for my halloween nails. I'm pretty happy with the results! He did great making sure he followed my inspo picture and took his time. This set was $120 though but glad they offered builder gel which makes my nails healthier and longer.

I have been happy every time I have gone there. I've had different technicians each time, and they have done a great job, but the past few times I've had Chau do my nails, and I have been so happy every time. She is friendly and does exactly what you want for your nails. Sometimes I have her recommend something for me, and she's always spot on. I love the fact that the handicap parking is so close to the nail salon, so it doesn't take me long to walk there. They also always accommodate me so I don't have to walk very far.

Came in on a Monday around 2pm..called ahead and they told me to come right in! I was referred to get Bonnie/Dave. I got Bonnie for my pedicure and Jo for my manicure. Dave was off. Soooo good! I got the Coco Chanail Pedi and regular mani. From beginning to end- top tier. The owner, Lien was so sweet and offered me green tea and sweet grapes! They were sweet & delicious! I almost don't want to review so that I can keep this spot to myself. She has been here for 2 years..who knew! Prices are comparable to KNB down the street. I pay for quality and service. The nail techs keep their talking to a bare minimum. Very refreshing and provides for a very relaxing experience! I will be back! Thank me later :)

Dave and Jenny, the owners are amazing and provide top quality service. The give us relaxing and very aesthetically pleasing. Their staff is amazing and I can recommend them all Matt, Amber, Van, and Judy do wonderful nails and pedicures. This is a true nail soda and they don't skimp on the details. Absolutely incredible service and artistic techniques. Everyone takes pride in their art and it shows. I have been going to Dave now since 2016. I don't go anywhere else to get my nails done.

I usually don't frequent a single nail salon since there are many good ones in the area, and I've had great experiences with most but the technicians here are so lovely and diligent that I found myself coming back! The salon is spacious and clean, it never feels crowded whenever I visit too. I've gotten 2 gel manicures and both have been pretty and well done! I got a gel pedicure and the tech did a great job and was super fast as well, would rather not post pics of my feet for free on here but trust me that they look niceee.

My girl Van, she is the ingrown toe nail professional. She's saved me two times already! Thank you so much for relieving the pressure and having such skill! It hurts occasionally but that's usually because I have picked at it before and it was swollen (my fault, sorry Van!) you are amazing at what you do!! Their new shop is huge! After searching and searching, I've finally found my go to nail salon in town! Yayyyy! Honestly, I've been to several salons in town and no one compares to ChaNails! Matt is INCREDIBLE with my nails- perfect shape, and they LAST. I've had pedicures done twice so far by two different ladies, and both were amazing, gentle, and carefully took their time. We went to Hawaii for a week and even after being in the beach/pool each day- my nails were still shining like new at the end of our trip! I love this place, and can't say enough nice things about it. If you're considering a visit, drop everything and just go!

Love this place. Everyone was so nice and the service was good too, Hannah did my nails and I'm glad she managed to do it this nice. The vibe was friendly and my boyfriend and I got offered water, grapes and some homemade snacks.

I've been going to ChaNails for almost 2 years. They are hands down the best! My nails look amazing every time I leave. The techs are extremely knowledgeable about nails and what type (builder gel, acrylic, etc.) will work best for everyone. I have had lots of different nail art designs and each time they turn out looking great! I have several friends that have started coming here and really love it too. I never get my nails done but after the incredible experience my daughter and I had yesterday, we might be hooked and get them done more often! My friend recommended this place and I am so glad she did. We have a very big family wedding coming up and my 10-year old daughter and I decided to get our nails done for the occasion. I got a very simple gel manicure with a beautiful champagne glitter polish. I didn't catch my stylist's name but she was very professional and did a great job! I can't stop smiling at how pretty my nails are. My daughter had a very specific idea in mind for her nails and her stylist nailed it! She had the Gel X done to extend her fingernails and had a unique design with cute little flowers added on it to match her dress. It looked beautiful....admittedly I was a little jealous that her nails look fancier than mine! Great place! Clean, friendly people, loved it! The only person I recall the name of was Dave and that was because he was wearing a name tag but he is such a nice friendly guy! I was very impressed with how professional and just genuinely kind he is. He seems to be a very popular stylist as one lady came in wanting him to do her nails again. but he was booked up for a few days. I loved that he took the time to talk to me and my daughter and made our experience that much more memorable. Highly recommend and will be back! read more

Started going to ChaNails right before Thanksgiving on a friend's recommendation. My daughter and I were treated wonderfully and we were both happy. Unfortunately, the gel on my fingernails did not want to stay adhered. I called and went back to have them redone. They were so warm, welcoming and willing to make it right. This time it was even worse - the gel polish started peeling the next day. I called again and went in the next day. This is where I found that it is a new owner, and she was even nicer and determined to figure out the best gel for my nails. Lien did a great job and it's been weeks without any peeling. (I had a small accident and chipped off half my nail the next day and they took me right in to fix it. This was all my fault but they took care of me without hesitation). I couldn't be happier with their service and treatment. I will keep going back!! read more

I loved it. They took the time to do my nails and they looked beautiful. They didn't rush through it to take walk-ins. I hate places who take everyone and anyone because you can be assured your nails will be done in a rushed manner and will look like they rushed it. ChaNails is located in a small plaza and offers a few plaza parking spots. I was easily able to make a couple appointments via Yelp messages and phone. All the techs are so nice, funny, and skilled here and they know their customers by name. It's such a welcoming and comfortable environment. I was very impressed by all the designs they are able to do as well. Came in originally for a regular pedicure and new acrylic nail set with gel polish. I got round for the acrylic nails but later changed my mind and wanted oval and a little shorter, so I made another appointment later. The techs took really good care of me. I'm so happy I found ChaNails! Can't wait until their 2nd shop opens. I would definitely recommend them and will be going back soon. read more

The salon is always clean, welcoming, and has a relaxing atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a treat. I'm very picky and visited many salons in Morgan Hill before finding my place! After trying half the nail places on town, I gave up for awhile. But when ChaNails moved near to my home, I gave them a shot. And I don't regret it. Matt and everyone here does an AMAZING job. Formerly known as Star Nails, this store has been established for over decades and is very well known in Morgan Hill. We have recently remodeled and changed our name to CHANAILS Spa, focusing on sanitation and the latest products to better our customers’ experience.

Meet the Business Owner: Dave N.

Our main priority at CHANAILS Spa is to offer the latest trends in the industry while committing ourselves to the highest safety practices to protect our customers. All equipment are sterilized and sanitized before each service and treatment. We also use a new plastic pedicure disposable liner for every customer to prevent the spread of bacteria and contamination between clients. In addition, each client will receive their own set of file, buffer, and pumice for manicure and pedicure services.

My BFF had flare ups like me from normal waxxing and started going to Valeria because it didn't cause her skin to flare up after, due to how they use sugaring. I already drive to MH to get my nails done, so I didn't mind going to another place for eyebrows too. I started going to Valeria while she was pregnant, so when she went on maternity leave I was handed over to her sister Marybel. During that time I decided to start growing them out because the eczema on my face was getting worse to the point I couldn't use any makeup. Marybel helped on tips of how to help new hair growth, and worked with me when I needed to rs because of flare ups. The process was long but I am seriously really happy with my eyebrows now. The sisters are really great to work with and they both make it super comfortable for me, even though I have major social anxiety issues. Teresa not only listened to what I liked and did not like about my previous experiences, she also took the time to map out my face and brow lines before applying any wax to my face. I think this level of attention is what has been missing with previous waxers who were just "eye-balling" wax placement for my particular face shape. I deserve this…read more Sorry, had to start with that affirmation because these past 2 massages with Cindy (a whole year apart) have felt so luxurious, I couldn't believe I get to have them. Does this make sense? Like, don't only rich people come out and get these massages? Haha. This review is for all my broke folks who take themselves to the local foot spa that can be hit and miss, in between work hours and picking up kids, and sometimes get the relief they're looking for and sometimes not. This is for my people who know they deserve so much more-- like massages from Cindy. I was referred to her by a friend who lives in Gilroy. I live in San Jose (part of the reason why I don't make it down here as Morgan Hill is a bit of a drive). But this 2nd massage completely convinced me I am missing out on life if I'm not here on a more regular basis (even every 3 months rather than twice a year, lol). So I get the 80 min deep tissue Swedish massage with Cindy. Seeing her this 2nd time, she pulled out her notes and recalled my neck and back pain from a car accident, checked in with how I'm feeling, talked with me through her approach for the day where she would focus on some areas fora good time while making sure to provide full body care. She asked if there was anything else she could do to help me feel at ease and I replied, "your magic is already magic." Her massage table was gently heated beneath the sheets. She offered to increase the heat if I liked, which I agreed to. Helped so much with relaxing my muscles. Her technique is superb. She remembered that while I came in for "deep tissue" massage, I prefer light to medium pressure. Her hands can read where the aches and knots are, and I even become aware of them only at the moment she touches them! Warm. Velvet. Gentle. Firm. Forgiving. Home. That's what her massages feel like. I definitely deserve this. The vibe: thoughtfully themed with butterflies, which personally feels like I'm surrounded by my ancestors. The "tree of life" framed on the wall helps root me. The ambient music she plays calms my nervous system. I wanted to hide this as a secret, but I want the best for her because she always gives me her best. I really appreciate her.

In fact, the cover photo on this page is actually my nails, and that set was only $80 & a lot more design..I've also gotten french tips here before with extra details like gems/crosses and paid around $70 This time, I got the most basic set possible: simple french tip with chrome (which chrome honestly isn't even visible & i told them i didn't like how they came out ether), and was charged $112. I was really shocked because these were the simplest nails I've ever gotten here, yet somehow the most expensive. I reached out afterward because I genuinely wasn't happy with how they turned out and asked if I could either: * have them removed and refunded except for removal costs, or * repaint them black and partially adjust the price Both requests were denied. What confused me most was the price breakdown they gave me didn't seem to match the pricing shown on either their social media or website. If these prices had always been this high for simple sets, I honestly never would've come here as my "save money" nail spot in the first place if pricing would be the same for my extra design nails by my usual girl for same price/less then these.. It just made me really disappointed because I used to leave happy every time, and this experience felt completely different. Just want to show some of the sets i got from them and how much more extra design they were and were a cheaper price, hence why i'd go back. So I'm highly disappointed:(

At the end of the service I was happy with the results. I was never warned to be careful or cautious - but while hiking (and walking normally) the entire nail came off. I went back to the salon right now to ask for a refund because I figured instead of getting it fixed again that it might happen again since I am an extremely sporty person. I had to ask a total of 3 TIMES for a refund because the 3 people working there kept asking me what I wanted? They weren't listening to me and proceeded to ask if I wanted to get it fixed. I then took off my sock to show them the results of what had happened and they proceeded to say, "We can't give you a refund. That's YOUR fault." I am so disappointed by their attitudes, the way they spoke to me and how they just shrugged their shoulders. I will not be returning here after having this interaction.

Dave, Thank you for your response, but I feel compelled to clarify some inaccuracies in your statements. Firstly, my appointment was on 6/27, not a month ago as you claim. (6/13??) I have proof of this. Check my bank charge. I provided a picture. Secondly, the chipping started within days, not weeks, undermining your claim about wear and tear. Regarding the white tips, you mention using "super white" polish. While this might explain the single coat, it doesn't excuse the uneven application I experienced. As for the flower color, while I understand you didn't have the exact shade, offering alternatives is great. However, the bigger issue was the rushed application, which ultimately affected the design's overall look. Finally, the overheard conversation about pricing during my service was unprofessional. It left a negative impression about priorities. I was the only one in the salon besides the other women as it was 30 minutes after closing. While I appreciate your explanation of the breakdown and the discount offered, transparency is key.
