I decided to try this nail salon after seeing pictures of Margarita's work on Instagram and then reading the rave reviews here on Yelp but unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience there at all. I had my nails done by Margarita. I believe she owns the shop.
Pros: My nails were shaped nicely.
Cons: Terrible customer service (inconsiderate and arrogant), she takes an excessively long time to do nails, high prices

1) Margarita informed me that she would be 10 mins late due to a family emergency. She ultimately came an hour late. I tried to be understanding because of her situation although I did feel that she could've sent me a quick text to tell me she'd be later than expected. I had a doctor's appointment later on so I would've rescheduled.
2)She told me that I needed a new set but I let her know that I didn't have time because I had a doctor's appointment at 4pm in Broward. She said okay. I was looking at something on my phone then I looked up to see her removing my acrylics after I had explicitly stated that I didn't have time for a new set. She defends her defiance by telling me that she had to remove them because "It's a liability" for her. I'm pretty sure that's something she should've discussed with me prior to the removal.
3)She took 2 1/2 hours to do my hands. I didn't get any fancy designs or rhinestones, just a holo polish.
4)She sent me to soak for my pedicure then told me that she had to leave "to get her lunch before the restaurant closes." She didn't ask me if that was okay, she just left me there soaking for 20mins. Completely inconsiderate of my time, especially after I told her I had an appointment and after the fact that she came an hour late. I ended up having to reschedule my appointment.
5)She describes what she sees on my feet and tells me that I have an infection. I tell her not to worry, it's just my eczema. She asks me where I have eczema and I tell her everywhere. She continues to tell me that i'm wrong, she learned about this in nail tech school, and that I need to see a dermatologist. I have seen a dermatologist. That's how I know I have eczema. I decided not to argue with her about my skin condition that i've lived with since i was a baby because clearly she knew more than the doctors who diagnosed and treat me.
6)Ultimately, I spent 5hours here. 12-5pm. 1-5pm was the time she took doing my nails (since she came an hour late). I have never spent this much time at a nail salon. Especially not for a mediocre nail job.
