Go somewhere else. Got a 90 minute couples massage and they were accommodating to take us in same-day. I usually only get Thai massages, and this one was good. However, we won't be coming back because the massage therapists literally had full on conversations during our massage, and mine started making small talk with me in the middle of the massage, it was so odd. The worst part is that they're very aggressive about tipping OVER 30%! We tipped 20% at the end through Zelle, and the massage therapists asked to look at our phone screen to see how much we tipped. After seeing that we gave 20%, they demanded more. I firmly said no, 20% is what we are comfortable with, and left. Never coming back as it just ruins the entire massage. I was expecting them to work on the knots on my back and calves however they didn't pay attention to it, felt like a normal massage. All the knots in my back are still there not even a difference. I was mainly disappointed from the ending. I was gonna leave a $20 dollar tip for my masseuse and my cousins- so $10 each for an hour massage that we were both not fond of- however as I hand the money they pointed to the sign $20 dollars PER masseuse and said $20 more. They really know how to work your muscles and they're very consistent. Came here on Sunday afternoon and was booked with Tanya! She was really sweet and kept checking up on me to see if I was in pain or if the pressure was good. If you never had a Thai massage before or deep tissue work, then the massage can feel a little aggressive but just let the masseuse know, and they will adjust the pressure. Also, didn't really experience them pressuring me to tip. I was supposed to have a 90 minute massage but was only given 60 because she had forgotten; which I didn't mind. They noticed the mistake and adjusted the price for me. The front desk lady thought I had mistakenly tipped too much and was trying to give my $20 back, but I told her it was for the tip. Which was the tip suggestion written (hahah) So, 60 minute is $60 and they suggest $20 as the tip (which is like 33%) and 90 minute is $90 (tip suggestion is $30) and 120 minutes is $120. Basically, $1 for every minute. I mean I feel like the tip suggestion is high but fair since they're only open for 12 hours a day (so approximately each masseuse will see 12 or less people a day). The massage was ok but felt like they took more time covering me up than doing the actual massage. But the deal breaker for me was that the oil they used. It's been over a year and I'm wondering why because this place is soooo good. I was aching from a spasmed shoulder blade and stiff neck. Sitting all day in front of a computer can take a toll on your body. I love how clean and professional they are. I got the combo massage with hot stone. 1 hour for $45 and I felt like a new woman. I love how the beds have heated blankets on them so when you lay down it is so comfy. Pat was my therapist and she was amazing. She was so attentive and caring. I was a bit sore so she made sure to work with my pain. She was firm but not painful. Many massage places work your body so hard it ends up being painful than relieving. You won't experience that here. She walked me through everything and throughout checked on me. I love how they use the heated pillows for your eyes and neck. I'd give this about a C+ for not giving me the massage I asked for, for vibing like she was totally disinterested, and for stretching when I said please don't. They only give Thai massage and so disregard any other listings. I asked for deep tissue and no stretching and I got Thai massage with stretching. She pulled my hips out of alignment. I just went into the chiropractor this morning and now I get to be in pain until my chiropractic appointment on Wednesday to get fixed when I start a new job Monday and have been moving for 8 weeks straight from out-of-state. She was soft in pressure, like could have been massaging an infant until I asked for harder pressure and then she went straight into walking on me. I asked for Joy but don't think that was Joy based on the reviews. If it was, maybe evenings weren't her peak performance time and she needs a vacation cuz she wasn't into her job. She was just kind of sighing and disinterested until the end when you pay. The two areas I told her to focus on, barely got any time or attention. I did not get any slack for the tip even though there are signs in the room stating a 33% tip is encouraged. Although, I'd have to ask the person I was with who paid if they were given a hard time. I've never given any massage therapist that much. 25% is the highest I've gone, maybe 28% and that's for A++ service. read more

First timer here. I usually go to my preferred spot in Glendale called Descanso Thai, but since I was in major need of a massage and this was on my path home from work, I decided to stop by. The receptionist confirmed that all of their therapists were ladies, but couldn't confirm who my masseuse would be until I arrived. Arriving here at 7pm on a Friday, I parked my vehicle around the corner in front of 7 Eleven at one of the non-restricted spots. I walked in and was greeted by several employees who were moving things around, decorating for Christmas. Its not typical to be asked to pay for the massage up front, but that's the case here. I had no issues with that. Although I would have created an issue had it been a crappy massage. Fortunately that wasn't the case. I confirmed the masseuse name was Joy and the receptionist walked me to my room and gave me a brief explanation of how they operate. The room was very clean and so was the rest of the place. I especially liked their heated and very wide beds. That was an added luxury you don't get at most places and I've been to plenty. The next 60 minutes were very relaxing. Joy was courteous and asked multiple times to see how I'm doing. I don't like being stepped on, but allowed for it temporarily. It did hurt a few times, but she did change it up fast enough for me not to voice my concerns. I'll be clear next time to Joy that I want hands only. Booked a massage for my birthday and based on all the raving reviews, I felt comfortable going with this place even if it is a bit further out. Unfortunately, that was the only comfort I had in this experience. This was the most uncomfortable massage I think I have ever gotten (even from friends). She pinched and stepped on very few muscles and seemed to focus only on my bones, spine, and pressure points. I did mention my upper back was the most tense and that was where she spent the least amount of time. I was honestly worried she was going to sprain my leg with the force she was using to bend it. You can only mention so many times what you prefer a masseuse does until you're essentially telling them how to do their job the entire time and it isn't worth it anymore and you either suffer through it or quit. Since the massage was $50 (and not the advertised $45), I was hoping all the tension she was causing would somehow make me feel good after a while. 1 hour later, my thigh is very sore and I don't feel any relief anywhere. Oh my giddy aunt. To preface, I've dealt with chronic shoulder, lower back, and sciatica issues for a while. Having lived an athletic life left me with the above issues. Jenny is seriously the best masseuse I've ever had. Her warming technique with her feet is, holy crap, the best feeling ever. She takes the time to ask if the pressure is good and wasn't upset that I was a tad late or had to use the restroom during our 2 hour session. Jenny is super friendly and made a great first impression. She paid extra attention to the multitude of knots inhabiting my whole body; we even laughed at how many I have in my calves, shoulders, and lower back.
