This was my first time visiting this company. It was a recommendation by my brother that brought me there based on pricing. I had to unexpectedly replace a damaged tire and arrived at the West Mifflin location. The clerk/manager at the front desk was Adam and there was a lady named Stacy in the office in the rear. I expressed to the front desk that I needed to replace a rear tire, he needed to know the size and I provided that information to him. He also went outside to inspect the tire. When he came back in, he recommended that I may want to replace 2 additional tires due to tread wear. I asked, how much that would cost and how long I'd have to wait for the install? He quoted approximately $238 for the 3 tires and about an hour and a half to replace. Because I did not have the amount of time to wait that he quoted, I told him I'll be back in a couple hours. In the interim, I came across a Yelp promotion the company was running for 20% off of used tires. To my enthusiasm, I wanted to take advantage of this promotion. I explained this to the clerk upon my return, and showed him the promotion on my phone, so he'd know it was current and ran by their company. He seemed thoroughly confused, stressed and unhelpful. I asked him if he'd honor the promotion, he expressed, that he did not know if the promotion was current or a mistake. I explained to him, that he had just looked at it...it said "ChampTires". I ran into some technical difficulties with the site picking up my location and I asked for help from him and Stacy. They both were so focused on proving that the promotion wasn't real, that neither was a help, and passed the responsibility to each other. The clerk at the front finally said, I can give you 10% off, that is the best I can do. I explained, the promotion is for 20% off. He phoned someone in his Marketing Department, who he said, told him that they were not running a 20% promotion. At this point, I asked him to call that department back and tell them that he saw it online. He refused...he explained there was no reason to call them back. In the mist of this discussion his phone rings...it is his Marketing Department. They expressed that they found the promo and to extend it to the customer. At this point, about 20 minutes went by, with this clerk refusing to offer it and insinuating that it may be a fraud and wasting time attempting to prove himself right! Which compromised the customer experience for this first time customer. After all that, he didn't even apologize, and still tried to prove his point, aggressively saying..."Do you want the offer or not?!?" Obviously, I wanted the offer! That was the whole reason for the lengthy debate! Needless to say, be very careful when using any promotions at this location, because apparently, the left hand doesn't always know what the right hand is doing. And rather than being accountable and putting the customer first, this company would rather debate the validity, as opposed to making an executive decision, and just making it right in the onset. read more

I ordered a used tire from Champtires, expecting a quality product that had been thoroughly inspected, as clearly promised on their website. But what I received was nothing short of a nightmare. After paying $30 to have the tire mounted, I immediately noticed serious issues. The tire was covered in cracks, obvious signs of dry rotting, and had a patch, which I knew was a possibility. But the worst part? The tire caused a violent shake while driving, making my vehicle nearly undriveable. This was supposed to be a safe, inspected tire, yet it was anything but. Hoping for a resolution, I reached out to Champtires' customer service. They offered a refund, but only if I removed the defective tire and sent it back. This meant paying another $30 to have it unmounted, on top of the $30 I already paid to install it. So now I was out $60 for their defective product. I trusted their inspection process, which they falsely claimed to follow, and now I was left paying for their failure. To make it worse, they claimed they no longer had a replacement, though it was still available on their site. I scrambled to remove the defective tire, find a replacement, and pay to mount it, all while trying to book a shop appointment because without a working tire, my car was undriveable. Champtires showed absolutely no accountability. Despite my multiple attempts to resolve this fairly, they refused to help with any costs associated with their defective product. They left me hanging, ignored my messages, and eventually claimed it was too late to return the tire. This is beyond a simple customer service failure, this is a company that has zero respect for its customers and no integrity in its sales process. This has been an infuriating, time-consuming, and expensive ordeal. Champtires failed to deliver a safe, inspected tire as promised and abandoned me when their product was a hazard. Champ tiers on Washington boulevard..omg the worst place to take your car or truck the manager gave me a hard time about putting my tires on after charging me 850 dollars..they're very disrespectful on goggle their time of closing was 6 but they were closing at 4 but the manager kept saying his son had a party to attend 1 his son was not my problem I was there first thing in the morning and for them to have bad service is very sad..FUCK THE MANAGER AND HIS SON...the Lil boy was at that shop all morning..so instead of trying to argue with a customer that's paying more then anyone else learn how to accommodate your customers you dumb ass..you the reason why black people don't deal with other black business...if I had a choice you would not get one star read more

This outfit totally sucks. Ordered a tire on Friday. On Tuesday got a call that the tire is out of stock. I called them back and they could not find the order. They finally located the order and confirmed that tire is out of stock as, as they put it, "website is behind on what is available". Really? Bought a used matching run flat for a fixer upper Acura TL that has a hole in the tire. We purchased the car as an around town vehicle while We address safety issues with our 2015 4 runner. They had an accurate description of the tread and the tire did not have any repairs. Thank you for being honest and giving us a temporary safe alternative for the time being. read more

Who knew you could get a slightly used tire that matches perfectly (brand and tread level) to the rest of your tires?! Also, they were so nice and helpful on the phone, and my tire arrived really fast. Thank goodness I found out about Champtires....I saved so much money and will definitely be using them again! read more

They sold me a torn tire. They offer a 14 day return but is not true. They are thieves. It is scam or fraud. I don't understand how E bay is supporting them. They just want to take your money and after that if you run into a situation like mine, you are done. read more
