Tires came with a leaky patch on day one of installation. Interrupted my trip on Thanksgiving. Thei Ebay description included false advertising such as "tires have been repaired using an industry standard patch that will last the lifetime of the tire." Unfortunately, I installed their tires a few days after return windows closed on Ebay. Sometimes it can be hard to find my tire size at the tread and price i want, so I purchased a used tire that had good tread on their ebay listing . When it came time to install the tire, I found out it had a pinhole leak in the sidewall. Since the purchase was out of the 30 day return window, they said there was nothing they could do. Not only did it cost me over 60 dollars to get this mounted and mount a different tire, but im out another 90 I paid for the tire. Im leaving a negative review because selling a tire with a damaged sidewall can cause a blowout and is a huge risk to my family and others on the road. If you are ordering online, call them first to make sure you are OK with the age of the tire, any repairs and how long they have had the tires in their climate controlled facility. All of this information is NOT available online. You have to ASK. I ordered 2 tires. One tire was almost 5 years old, the other was about 2 years old. I was not happy about getting a 2019 tire in 2024. Some sellers on eBay claim they are receiving champtires up to 10years old. ASK BEFORE YOU BUY. They are nice and will tell you. If you don't ask, it is your problem and you have to pay for return shipping if you are not happy. They got 1 star for selling tires that are both used and OLD. They got one extra star because they have a lot of info on their tires (but you have to ask before you buy). They claim this is all disclosed. (3) tires were just as described but (1) tire had a tread deformity and a small pin hole on the inside which could easily be missed. I found out about Champs tires from a small mechanic that I have frequented for years. On the previous order I got tires that had been patched on the inside. Besides the tread wear that I was expecting, the tire pulled when I put it on. I called Champs and got blown off. I once again tried to save money and ordered two tires. They sat in my garage untill I had time to get them installed. One of the tires had multiple pinhole leaks in the sidewall. I had to submerge the tire to see them. I emailed Champs to get this resolved and quite frankly their customer service was terrible. Since the tires had like new treadwear I paid a pretty good price for them. Now I will go to another retailer and get a new tire for not much more, not to mention better warranty. I will never do business with them again. As a side note, I was talking to the owner of the company that told me about Champs they have had problems with them also. One star rating is too high. read more

Champtires.com had a set of 4 of the most perfect tires for me with 9mm tread remaining on all of them for under $90 per tire, including FedEx shipping! After notifying C.H.A.M.P. tires, and supplying photos and receipt of fee paid to mount tires, they told me I was out of time period for returns. Is that their lil scam? People who wait to mount tires dont know of the defect until its too late. I wasted $148.00 - down the drain... After contacting them, they responded via e mail they would take of it, then the next email was " NOPE ", we in fact - wont . BEWARE. Just look at all the same 1 star reviews. Horrible customer service. They did an alignment on my car. My mechanic put four new tires on my car and had Champs do the alignment. They worked on it for four hours and couldn't get right. My car then breaks down after and has to be towed. My mechanic recommended having the dealership run a full diagnostic. The result were that the tire rod came apart causing the steering rack to break. Champs now claims that they never alignment my car and that my mechanic is lying. I have a copy of the alignment and have had three different people examine my car. All three says it's a result of the alignment not being done correctly. Thank you for the reply. However your mechanic claimed that my car was not touched and that there was an issues. I had a full diagnostic done at the Nissan dealer and and the only issue was that after the alignment a rod was bent causing the steering rack to break. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Took my car for a simple tire change and they ended up totaling the car. They messed up the alignment, refused to fix their screw up without more money, which ended up fucking up my power steering and blowing my tire. This shop literally ruined my life. I need my car to do my job and now I'm homeless because these "mechanics" couldn't fix a hot wheels car let alone a real one. I've kept pretty good care of my car and NEVER had an issue until they worked on it, and within two months of them working on my car it has become completely undrivable. The owners should be in jail. My review is for the Champ Tire location on Washington Blvd...I had such a great experience with them! I went in for 2 "new to me" tires for my Subaru in order to pass inspection. I found what I needed online ahead of time and when arrived they were indeed, in stock. Corey offered me a couple other options, just to make sure I knew my options but I felt no pressure to go with different tires. I left very satisfied and passed inspection. Unfortunately, one of my tires was slowly losing air. I would fill it and it would be fine for a week or so, so I kept putting it off. A month after my purchase I decided to go back and get it taken care of, fully expecting to pay for a new tire or repair, since I was 2 weeks beyond their 2 week guaranty. Amazing find! A few weeks ago, I got multiple punctures and sidewall damage in a tire on my new car with only 9000 miles on it, putting it completely beyond repair. Very frustratingly, a replacement for that particular tire in the size needed for the car is almost impossible to find new at any price. The other three tires are practically new and it would have been expensive and incredibly wasteful to just replace all four. I randomly caught a local TV ad for Champ Tires, and checked their online inventory. They had the exact tire in stock, barely used and with one professional puncture repair. Called them up on a Saturday afternoon and within an hour had the replacement tire mounted and balanced for easily $150 less than what a new one would have cost. The tire is in excellent condition, drives great, and matches perfectly with the original other three. I'm fortunate enough to be in a position where I mostly value my time over my money, and can afford to repair or replace things as they break. I previously would have never, ever considered used tires, assuming they were just a low quality stopgap for folks who just can't afford anything else. Champ Tires completely changed my mind. i Had good luck with Champ tires in the past but the last time i purchased 4 tires it was not a good experience. The tires were very high rated run flat tires but within a month 1 tired developed a huge bubble on the side wall and one of my air pressure sensors on another tire was broken. I was getting an odd noise while driving about a week after the tires were mounted. when the tire was removed we found the sensor strap was broken and pieces of metal and the sensor were rolling around inside my tire. those internal sensors are about $150 so the air pressure light remained on my dash until i traded the car. Also they were not balanced properly while driving over 60 mph there was a lot of vibration. i dont know if any warranty is offered when you buy You will save money but your taking a risk. good for replacing one tire in a pinch but not recommended for a complete set. read more

For used tires I can't complain for whatever you're asking for just make sure they're telling you the right amount of tread that you have on the tire that you have purchase from them. Also look around and see if you can get a brand new tire for the same price that they're quoting you for a used tire, also make sure you are checking your options before you begin to buy a used tire. They said I could return it. But I have to pay the shipping which is 2/3 the price of the tire.
