They don't keep full pairs on the sales floor so when they are busy, the wait just to see if they have your size could be a giant waste of time. Luckily it was not crowded and the salesperson was pretty quick in locating my shoes. I was also surprised to find that they were on sale and there was not mark down sticker on the shoe or the box. Check out went pretty quickly and I logged into the app to receive my points for my purchase. Dick's carries whatever is needed as a sports enthusiast or a heavy duty athlete. Parking was not great because of so many businesses sharing one lot but I was albe to find parking pretty easily.

The man kept getting close to us inside the store, and continued escalating until we felt we had to leave. I asked employees to call the police, but they appeared completely disinterested and did not intervene, say anything, or take any visible action. They seemed more like spectators than staff responsible for customer safety. I understand that stores cannot control every customer who walks in, but they can control how they respond when customers are being threatened. The lack of employee involvement or visible security made the store feel unsafe. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

Socks were in multiple places and the shoe section had shoes in the wrong box or just one shoe not a pair. I wanted to find a pair of HOKAs, which I did. I also got a cute pair of flamingo socks for my dad and another pair of SmartWool hiking socks that were marked $22 but rang up at $6. Nice! Definitely ask for the prices at check out. They had discounts on top of discounts, so a few of the SPF shirts that we bought were heavily discounted and a few we left at the store. Still, Going, Going, Gone is a nice place to hunt for a bargain in South Florida.

Located on Glades Road, this is the kind of store where you can walk in looking for one thing and end up discovering all kinds of products and ideas for enjoying the outdoors. REI carries an impressive selection of hiking and camping gear, backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, water bottles and hydration equipment, bicycles and cycling accessories, hiking and running shoes, outdoor clothing, travel gear, paddling equipment, and much more. They also carry their own REI Co-op and Co-op Cycles products, along with many well-known outdoor brands. (REI⁠) One thing that makes this location especially useful is the full-service bike shop. REI's trained bike-shop staff can help with bike maintenance and repairs, making the store more than simply a place to purchase equipment. The Boca Raton location also participates in REI's Re/Supply trade-in program, allowing members to trade eligible used outdoor gear for an REI electronic gift card. (REI⁠) A fascinating history What I find particularly interesting about REI is how humble its beginnings were. REI was founded in 1938 by 23 friends who loved climbing and the outdoors. We ended up with a new gray glove, green helmet, black bat, blue backpack, black pants and green socks! One of the cool things HIT has is a glove steamer, which sits in what looks like a popcorn machine to soften the hard leather. It takes a few minutes and then its good to go! The store has had other locations before and moved to this location in 2019. They do a lot of business on the web and for league teams across the county.
