His property is beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains; we looked forward to our breakfast on the patio each morning. It's convenient to access Middlebury, Lake Champlain and Burlington by car; but the guest house is so comfortable you could spend a couple days there just escape. Also definitely hike Snake Mountain very close by - it's a short drive, a manageable hike and a rewarding view. If you're looking for a few days away from NYC area or a Vermont experience, I wouldn't go anywhere else. We can't wait to go back and have already recommended a stay here to our friends.

We decided to travel to Vermont last minute for New Year's Eve. We booked the Moose Meadow Lodge on the drive up. We were welcomed with open arms. Greg showed us around the property, the lobby shop, brought us to our room and explained all the unique and exciting details of the house and property. We woke up each morning to a beautifully prepared breakfast. Since our trip was so last minute, we didn't have much of a plan. Greg was kind enough to sit down with us and help us map out our entire journey. He even helped us map an alternate route home that was more scenic. We didn't get to everything on the list, but everything he mentioned was perfect. You can tell he has a genuine love and passion for what he does. His advice and planning alone made the experience excellent. I can go on and on about the perfect stay we had. You can tell Greg and Willie are very passionate about what they do. You will never experience this kind of attention and care at a hotel. We are already planning our next stay here.
