Well it's time to finally write my official review of this business. The entire team from start to finish was overall excellent. Once we sent over our protocol to Champion, they were first to respond to the inquiry. Once pricing rolled into from all the others, Champion's pricing was right in the middle of the three which is always a good sign. A clear indication that have the right balance between approach, knowledge, and price. In the office you have Connie which was always very communicative. The business manager (forgot her name) was very nice also when she reached out to just talk before we signed our contract. The estimator Susan was very thorough over all the rest of the companies bc she by far spent the most time getting everything she needed while on the site visit to prepare the estimate. Nate and his helper tech were very thorough. The messed up on one little thing regarding our A/V equipment which I will get to in a second. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the main guy Wayne. By far a super nice guy but not the best when it comes to management in my opinion. Upon completion of the work, I made it happen to where they were able to pick up their equipment before the long weekend and was called to let me know final payment should be prompt. I questioned that but completed final payment as requested and was told it's normal. That said, when all the dust settled, we noticed that our elec equipment for our surround sound system in living room was not working properly. We troubleshooted it all weekend but could not get it working properly as it did before. We ended up calling the A/V company to come out and get it back to working properly and incurred a $139 additional service which we understood. I brought that to Wayne's attention and he said he will look into it which he did. He reported back that since the account is closed out thats pretty much it and Champion would not be able to cover the $139 fee we incurred. I let him know that was unfortunate. This is why I do not like paying the final bill until we have the opportunity to verify everything is in working order. At the very least they need to possibly revamp the final payment to 40% with a 10% retainer for things such as this. That $139 reimbursement could've possibly come out of the final 10% owed. Otherwise, I highly recommend Champion in your considerations for hiring. read more

Remediation can be a very stressful and overwhelming experience, but the team took excellent care of our home and were beyond respectful, courteous, thourough and extremely clean. This company did provide a timely estimate, but the prices they charged were outrageous... $255 to change an air conditioning filter (as an example)? They claimed on their invoice to have cleaned rooms and items that either did not exist or were very poorly cleaned. I would avoid ever calling this company to restore your home after a fire (or any other catastrophic event to your home). Many of the light fixtures in the house were cleaned on the bottom where you can see from the floor, but when I had to remove the globe to change a light bulb, the top third of the fixture had never been touched. I was very disappointed with their services, even though my insurance company was paying the bill! I thought a small company would have been a little more attentive and honest, but apparently that is not part of their business model! read more

I wanted to take a moment to say that this is an honest company that stands behind their work. We had water damage in our kitchen we worked with Zayne who handled the entire process. We needed different contractors to do different things (paint, pull flooring, back splash, etc.) and he ensured that each contractor was timely. I also felt safe with the contractors in my home, and even left a few of them alone while I ran errands. Zayne was patient throughout the entire process, and in the end helped up update our entire kitchen, which is beautiful and we now LOVE. They came within 30min of being called, were extremely respectable, kind, and understanding of how frustrating a situation like this can be. My crew chief's name was Tyler and he had two helpers who were great! They had the mitigation stage complete within 4 days and worked with my insurance company to setup everything for construction to start. Truly appreciate Tyler's patience, willingness to flex to my schedule, answer all my questions, and his overall service. 10/10 would recommend this company! read more

We were very impressed with Champion Restoration! They came out on Father's Day to deal with a bathroom sink that flooded the bathroom and adjacent carpet. Their professionalism was reassuring. The humidifiers and fans they brought dried everything out, and we quickly got back to normal. They even helped me move the furniture back in place. read more

Extremely dissappointed. The workers came out and did an extremely efficient, although expensive, demo of the area damaged by a leaky pipe. They installed dryers and dehumidifiers. Once the storm came to Houston, their facilities flooded so they could not pick up their equipment as promised. That was not an issue, but when they did pick it up, they did not provide an estimate and begin repairs as promised. I called requesting an estimate to include a schedule. Once I received the estimate, it had a lot of extra line items that did not pertain to my situation such as debris removal (paid for that the week prior) and moving furniture (there is no furniture in that area of the house). No schedule estimate was provided. I contacted the company again asking for a schedule and an updated estimate. Their response on schedule was "sometime in the next two weeks." When I requested something more solid that I could plan around, I received no response. They never sent an updated estimate either. read more
