I wrote a bad review about Champion Plumbing on 7/17/2021. The following week I received both an email and text message from Champion regarding my reviews and concerns. I finally called and talked to them about my experience and they agreed to send a technician out to do the repairs that I needed to be done at no charge and even offered a full refund for the $1,200 I paid for another repair. I chose to have the repairs done at no charge and the technician Adam came out and not only fixed my original plumbing issue but also fixed my refrigerator water line which needed a 1/4 inch brass fitting that I could not find at any Lowes or Home depot. I tried to pay him for that as that was not part of the original job and he refused to take my payment. I was very pleased about that. Most of the time, I see bad reviews written about companies, and they go mostly ignored. Champion went above and beyond to fix my concerns and all my needed repairs. At least they care about their reputation. Just try not to call plumbing companies during the weekends as all will charge after-hours fees. Based on this new and improved experience, I will call Champion Plumbing to do my plumbing repairs again when needed. Just not after hours. Based on this, I now give them 5 stars for sending Adam and him going above and beyond to take care of a customer-Me! read more

I recommend you do your research... This company will rip you off!! Charge you for services not rendered and then say they did something else to make up for overpriced services you didn't ask for... They pride themselves on good reviews, I'm sure since this is a franchise the reviews are from other areas... The service they quoted to do for the price that we agreed was not performed... Left us with the same issue... Had a Plumbing company come do the same job they where supposed to do the first time, for 3k dollars cheaper... Got quality and more then reasonable price.. P.S Owner did not appreciate being called a crook... A spades a spade no matter how you look at it... read more

Thank you for the quick response during the holidays and for the dedication on finding the leak and getting us back in business. Having a water leak is a nightmare especially with family in town so thank you! read more

Champion Plumbing - Hidden waterline, thankful it's not in the slab. - Plumbing Near Me - Yukon, Oklahoma

Called to ask for an estimate for a patch job on a 2 inch length of exposed pex that the home builder put a nail hole through when the house was built. They wouldn't give me any upfront pricing. After missing the first appointment, they came out to look and quoted me $425 AFTER a "discount". Tech put me of the phone with whatever passes as the manager, and he actually told me that I wouldn't find anyone else to do it for less. Watched a youtube video, went to Lowe's and bought ALL of the tools (cutter, crimper, and even a de-crimper just in case) and way more repair line and parts than I will ever use for $150. The job took me, not a plumber, almost exactly 10 minutes. I don't understand how they justify their ridiculous prices. read more

This company is an over price Gave me a price $18k to install tankless water heater with filtration. crazy.

Tried to charge us $1350 to install a kitchen faucet we had already paid for. Tried to sell us a hot water heater, garbage disposal, repiping to the tune of $7800. Ridiculous and laughable. read more

Quoted me $750 for a kitchen faucet installation. I called 1 other plumbing company (Rucker Mechanical) and got it done for $160; job took less than an hour. Champion charged me $90 for the service call just to quote the job. read more

The bathtub spout had a slow leak so they were going to replace my two handle faucets with a single handle and a new spout. They said it wouldn't work to put a single handle in so they replaced both faucets. Took 4 days & 6 different plumbers to do it. Two of the plumbers told me they would be back the next day at a certain time, but weren't. Charged me over $700 & invoice indicates they installed a single handle. There were broken tile around spout that they said they weren't responsible for. I asked about putting some kind of flange behind the spout to cover tiles & they said it wouldn't work, not sure why. The new handles which they provided (didn't ask/show me first & I hate) are pointed down & toward spout which I'm pretty sure aren't supposed to look like that. Now have to hire someone to fix area around spout And see if handles were installed correctly. read more

Broke My Washing Machine I hired Champion to fix my washing machine pipes. Before they began work, I showed them the locking mechanism and the manual for moving the machine. They told me that wasn't needed and moved the machine. At the end of their work, they hooked up the machine and it was unresponsive. They were quick to tell me they were not liable for any damage to the machine that they caused. I had to hire a separate repair company to fix my 1.5-year-old washing machine, costing me nearly $400. The repairman confirmed that the machine's locking mechanism was damaged by improper moving. Beyond this costly mistake, this company was unprofessional from the start. They did not show up on the first day they were scheduled to work. After calling them that day, they assured me that they were on their way. 4 hours later they called to tell me they were not coming. What I was told would be a 1.5 day job ended up being 4 days, at the end of which I was left with a broken washing machine. read more

I was out of the country when a hose in my restaurant style kitchen faucet started leaking. My elderly sister was house sitting so I told her to call Champion Plumbing. They had fixed the faucet once before when she was house sitting and I was in Japan. That time it was $230 for the trip when I already had the hose. It was high but not crazy unreasonable since my husband and I wouldn't be back for a couple of weeks and it needed to be done. This time Ethan Patton came out and told my sister that it would be $430 to troubleshoot the problem and that I really needed a brand new faucet! She called me in New Zealand and I told him EXACTLY how to fix the problem. He stuck to his story so I sent him away. When I got home I got a hose and fixed it in 15 minutes using a pair of pliers. I am a 68 year old lady. It was easy. I have called the office manager at Champion and all she would say is that it was Mr. Patton's "professional opinion". I will never trust these people again. read more

Wow these guys are expensive. They charged me $1000 to replace my kitchen faucet. The installed faucet can be purchased on Amazon for $120 and it only took 30 mins for them to swap faucets out. They originally told me it would probably take 1.5 to 2 hours, but that doesn't matter as they don't even charge by the hour just fixed rates. I only let them go ahead with the install because my sink was unusable and I wouldn't have time for another plumber to come out for a week. I will never use them again at their rates, and will recommend everyone I know avoid them too. I wish I had read all these yelp reviews about their price before trusting a blind google search. read more

Brent with Champion was very helpful and answered all my questions. I appreciated his help.

The backyard faucet was leaking, bathroom sink valves were leaking and needed a tank less water heater installed in the kitchen. Called Champion Plumbing and they sent Danny Haper out the very next morning. Danny quickly and efficiently took care of all the leaks and had my new tank installed in no time, a little over three hours later and he was done. So impressed with the work that was done and the kind, professional and friendly manner that Danny displayed the whole time, even when Cujo our Maltese tried to have a go at him. Danny deserves a raise and Champion Plumbing deserves the highest recommendation. read more

Called them to run a snake threw my main sewer line. Told me there's a $45 device charge for coming out. (So far so good) I have 35' of my main sewer line with a clean out in the back yard. Supposed to be here between 3 and 5PM. (I'm in Moore) got a text at 4:00PM he was on his way! (So far so good) he gets here at 5:10 looks in the back yard said he has to give me 3 quotes! Cheapest one was $243 to the highest $800-something! Totally outrageous to run a snake 35'. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

i Live in Dallas & have a rental property in OKC. The water heater busted last week, and I was lucky to find Champion on the first call. They rushed out there & saved the day! I was nervous dealing with a new company remotely, but they had amazing communication & fair pricing. The guys need 5 stars all over the web. I'm happy to contribute to their Yelp page. read more

I had Champion come out and run a camera down my main sewer line. They determined the pipe needed to be dug up and replaced, which I scheduled. Had utilities marked before the dig to be safe. I tried calling multiple times to ask about the utility lines that I found out intersected the dig area, and how that would be handled, but my calls were not ever returned. When I called to cancel the work, they didn't question the cancellation or try to make things right at all. They sure didn't have a problem texting me every day asking for a review though. read more

Charged 900 dollars for less than an hour of work and parts that were probably 40 dollars with no explanation on receipt of parts or labor cost. YEAH I KNOW I GOT SCREWED . I think the owners are are trying to compensate for an extremely lavish life style they have by ripping people off , might Even be on drugs .If you complain about the price they'll just mask it by saying there basically doctors for your plumbing and should be compensated the same way , do your research. read more

I understand not being able to give an exact appointment time, but giving an all day window timeframe is beyond inconvenient. I ended up missing 2 1/2 days of work, waiting on them to show up and fix the problem that they had already diagnosed. I called and requested a bit more specific timeframe (morning or afternoon) to try to work at least half a day and not have to be home. I was guaranteed my apportionment would be in the morning timeframe. After it reaching 1pm, I ended up canceling their services completely. Do not recommend this company. read more

The plumber came in to fix a broken hose bib, which the hole in the wall was already there. The job cost me 450.00 for literally 15 minutes of work. I found the bib online from $30.00-$50.00. I tried to call to get an itemized receipt but apparently they charge by job!! Not hour or parts. This could of been done by my husband over several days, but they knew that I needed it done. WILL NOT BE CALLING THEM AGAIN!!! read more

I decided to use them based on rave reviews that I no longer see on here, somehow the reviews were removed, sadly not before I used them. First red flag, they do not charge by the hour. $$$$ After receiving their knock out ( as in I almost hit the floor) quotes ( they don't give quotes over the phone) I really had no choice but to go with them because I was loosing a pay day to have Champion come and it would have made any plumbing prohibitively expensive for me to take another day to schedule another plumber. The work done was top notch, however, BUT they tossed my manuals that came with the various installs. I ALWAYS keep these for my house records and one of the things installed has no identifiers, I do not recall the brand as they tossed the boxes as well. If I have any issues with the install I will not be able to get any parts!! Pet peeve of mine is having service personnel use my bathroom, especially after they were gone an hour and a half to get a part (and most likely stop for lunch), just NO. Some of the work I inquired about faucet installation $900+ they supply all parts. (My last faucet installed for 135) Wanted gaskets changed on an out door faucet $365-395 are you kidding me! For a .15c piece, shut the front door. Shop around, unless you have money to burn. read more

If I decide to use Champion I'll do a complete review then. The men that were here were very nice.

Outrageous. Unbelievable how much they charge!! Called them to put our gas fire pit back together after my husband took it apart and fixed the issue. They were crazy high and charge by the job not the by the hour. So, if they think you have money to throw away the sky is the limit. No thanks champion!! read more

I wouldn't use them if they were the last plumbing company on this earth! Snobs in the office, irresponsible people, trying to get credit card info before you know what they are charging. Wants a card on file because their tech didn't show up to the job but he supposedly did and called me yet I was calling them to find the tech. I never got a call. Jeez now they need my card so they can just charge it up! Nope! This place is horrible! I doubt their honest. I won't ever do business with them! When you are met with this deceit upfront just run! They are not offering at minimum good customer service. Horrible place! I'm letting everyone know about this place! They suck! Hope the owner reads his reviews! Some of his crew is dragging his company down! If I could give them a zero rating or negative zero that would be very appropriate for his I was treated! read more

We chose Champion due to some really high ratings on another site but it pays to read other sites for reviews because we did not get the value of their visit. Had a clogged toilet. That took them maybe 15-30 minutes to check. We knew that a cap off a Lysol lid fell in there as we flushed. Our efforts to remove with our own plumbing tools failed thus the call for a professional plumber. They used the same tool I used and came to the conclusion that the toilet had to be removed to check and unclog it and the possibility of it being damaged through the efforts of trying to unclog. A quote of $800 to replace the toilet was given plus a $200 bill for a 15-30 minutes of their time. I should have asked about their service fee in advance but was swayed by their high ratings. Anyway, we declined the toilet replacement. Reluctantly paid the $200. I removed the toilet myself, unclogged it, and replaced the seal, $4. Lessons learned to shop for services, ask about their service fee, and I learned to remove a toilet, unclog it and replace the seal. I'm sure they are a competent plumbing service technically but I got turned off by the service fee and unusually high quote to replace the toilet. read more

Extremely expense to to the point of unethical. Charged me $1300 for less than an hour of work and maybe $200 in parts. Wouldn't have accepted it if it hadn't been a gas leak. Find someone else. Tell everyone you know they will screw you over. read more

How do I put a negative number of stars on here? Don't EVER use Champion Plumbing!!!! I had a pinhole leak in my refrigerator water line on a Wednesday. I cleaned up the water -- which was nowhere near my hardwood flooring. Then I put the leaking line in a bucket to contain the water while I was at work. I came home after 5 hours and emptied the bucket. There was no water on the floor -- it was all in the bucket. Champion came out to fix it on Thursday morning. They replaced the line for $163. During the repair at some point, their plumber knicked the line from the refrigerator -- which burst wide open Saturday morning. There was 2" of water in my kitchen. Today they tell me they're not repairing any of the water damage to my hardwood floors or the bedroom behind -- which wasn't even affected by the first leak. Their plumber who cut the water line has no culpability for sabotaging my water line in the first place or the resulting water damage that was caused by the second leak -- which was much more catastrophic. I have damage to my hardwood floor, my kitchen cabinets, the wall between the kitchen and bedroom and the carpet in that room. read more

Pricing is preposterous. I was ripped off by a 20 something year old kid of $1678.50. I had a slow leak under the kitchen faucet and a minor leak under a bathroom sink. He changed the faucet in the kitchen and changed the outlet trap of my bathroom faucet. Does anyone think an hour and a half job like this deserved $1678.50? Even if you subtract maximum $300 for the parts this job did not deserve $1378.50 . The reason I agreed for him to work on the leak was because I felt this was an emergency as the wooden cabinet under the sink was getting damp and mold had begun to grow in the area. He was a nice guy but took advantage of my helplessness. read more

Our hot water heater started leaking at 7:30 at night. Called around to different plumbing companies until someone answered the phone. .. It was Champion Plumbing. They told us what to do for the night and said a technician would be out the following morning. Well, Woodrow came to work on the heater, came in and took charge of the situation....He is the best...very knowledgeable and knew what to do. We ended up with a few more issues and Woodrow handled all of it. Very efficient, he was working alone and did a lot of work. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and Woodrow for any job! read more

We had a running toilet and needed the flush valve replaced. We were told by the Water Company that if we sent them a receipt from a plumber we could get reimbursed for the water bill. During a recent cold streak I got a busted pipe, that's my fault I like the water hose plugged in. So I google plumbers and I click on champion plumbing and book a reservation with them they tell me will be there Monday between one and six, that's fine. I can do that. I never saw a plumber on Monday. He got lost or something trying to find my house, whatever it happens, so they say Tuesday at 9am, I'll be first. And I was. The guy was nice but informed me that he didn't fix pipes. What kind of plumber doesn't fix pipes? They thought I had a drain issue? I don't know, he blamed their dispatch software or something. So he called in for ANOTHER guy to come out. So after waited a few more hours (I think I'm total, I spent around 10 hours just waiting in them) for the guy to show up, I explained my problem, and with ZERO investigation the guy comes back to me with an absolutely absurd quote for fixing the pipe. I told him no, I know what plumbing usually cost, and you did nothing to even figure out the problem yet so how can you know how much it costs?? I'm good on that. It's at this point, I go and wrote a bad review on Google (which is now suspiciously missing, I might add) and within minutes I get a call from their office manager with whom I felt like we had a good conversation, came to an understanding, and the gist of what she tells me was "we'll make this right, we'll get somebody out, let me call our service manager and we'll get back to you." I waited a few more hours for the phone call that never ever came. Nobody got back to me, and not having water is an urgent issue. It's been out 3 days, I only want to get by until Monday. So naturally, I just called a different plumber. I called EdCo around 3:30, and the plumber they sent was done with my work by 5, and for a price that was half of what Champion wanted to charge me. Moral of the story, unless you are a consumer who just loooves getting ****** over by a company that's willing to take advantage of people who don't have knowledge about plumbing or how much plumbing work should cost, don't call Champion. Call literally anybody else. If somebody says "don't worry, I know a guy" and it's like his friend who shows up in a rusty 1996 F-150 with mismatching rims, call them instead. read more

I chose Champion Plumbing based on the google reviews, but I did not have a good experience. I had 2 bathroom Delta faucets that both had slow drips. The estimate I got after the technician arrived was $981.85. He did not explain any details about what was wrong with it and why the cost was so high. He also tried to sell me a water softener. I did not appreciate a service call being used as a chance to try and sell me something. I paid the $89 service call fee, but told him I didn't want to do the repair. He then told me that he might be able to talk to the owner and get a better price, which I declined. After my experience I read some additional reviews on Yelp and saw that others had the same experience I did - ridiculously and shockingly high prices. This was a very disappointing experience and definitely won't recommend Champion plumbing. Update: I have tried to find my review on google but it only shows up if you are logged into google - which I wasn't when I initially looked for a plumber. I also ended up replacing my 2 faucets for around $400 which I bought from Lowes. Champion told me they were an old model and out of stock and to replace them would be $2000. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber! read more
