Came in for a freeze & squeeze special (cryo therapy followed by compression therapy). It was awesome! Todd is very informative as to the history and science behind the treatments, as well as being a great distractor during your first freeze session; which helps the time go by faster if the cold is getting to you! I really like the feeling of the intense cold, and I could see how it could become an addiction -at least this kind of addiction is beneficial for health and wellness! I came across Champion Cryotherapy from their Facebook ad and I wanted to wait until after I'd gone a few times to post a review. I recently started half marathon training and was looking into how to speed up recovery after workouts and runs to get the most out of my training. I've been doing cryotherapy and normatec boots (squeeze n freeze as they call it!) 1-2 per week and it has been amazing. I'm not as sore/stiff from my training and the soreness doesn't last for nearly as long. The cryotherapy is really cold but definitely worth it! The staff is good about talking to you and letting you know how much time you have left to keep your mind busy for 3 minutes. I like to do cryo first and then normatec boots after so I can thaw out! All of the staff are amazing! Super professional and friendly. They make the experience so comfortable and go out of their way to help in any way possible. They've also done a great job of making it feel like a community, whenever I'm there I either see people I've met during previous appointments or get introduced to the other people. I'm really happy with my experience there so far and always look forward to my appointments! read more

You HAVE to try this! I was scaredy-cat because I absolutely hate being cold. They do give you heavy warm gloves and booties to wear. For me, it only felt very cold for the first 30 seconds. Three minutes went by very quickly. Staff is there to walk you through it the entire time. When it was over, I felt re-energized. The store is very upscale and clean. I didn't know what cryotherapy was until I walked in for an appointment. Todd Pendleton, the owner, is genuine and friendly as are his staff. They delight in educating you about the process. After three minutes in the cold-air sauna, I felt invigorated, and the NormaTec compression massage for my legs was wonderfully relaxing.
