I saw him again in July to assess how my new blood pressure pills were working. It worked great & my blood pressure was controlled right away. All of my labs are normal so he said it's ok to have a follow up in 6 months. I like the PA. I have no issues with him. My issues are 100% about the protocols in place at this office. They require you to call the office every 3 months for your refills. Why can't they just give me a prescription with enough refills for one year like normal doctors offices??? If that's not frustrating enough, I can't call for my refills until 7 days exactly before I run out of meds. I use a mail order pharmacy so this is not ok. The first time I tried to call for refills, it was a month ahead & they said I have to call back a week before. So I called back 8 days before my prescription runs out, and they said I had to call back THE NEXT DAY!!! Why???? This is so ridiculous. They said it was because my prescription insurance won't fill it early but that's a lie because I receive notifications from my pharmacy to get a refill a month before it's due so they would have accepted it a month in advance. So now (early Dec) I'm almost out of my meds again, and I asked for another refill. I have my 6-month follow up appt in Jan. The office said they won't refill my med unless I see the doctor again before hand. I just saw him 5 months ago, and he said I just need to come in after 6 months. I told the office this, and they said it was office policy. Their policies make no sense, and I feel like it's all just a money making scheme because I keep getting charged here & there for things that should be completely covered under my health insurance. I never argued about it, and I paid what I owed since it was only $20-50. This ridiculous refill process is just not worth my time. I switched to another doctor that I know for sure gives one year refills. Save yourself the trouble & do NOT go to this office.

The front desk staff even wear blazers instead of the ugly scrubs. It's just super adorable(I know I so sound like a female) but that's what this office is catered to lol Now on to the staff: the nurse and the Doctor were very friendly and prompt! I didn't have a long wait and I never felt rushed when addressing all of my questions and concerns with the doctor. She listed all my possible options for my concerns and we picked the best option for me. I even explained I was moving and she gave me the name and number to a gynecologist in my new location! Overall once I left out the office I literally told every female I knew to switch to this office!

At 36 weeks, I was sent to Labor & Delivery for extended monitoring after a brief fetal heart-rate deceleration during an NST. The extended monitoring was reassuring, but my blood pressure was elevated at the hospital. I have a history of anxiety and white-coat syndrome, and my home readings were consistently normal. Dr. Russell recommended delivery and repeatedly told me I was "having a baby today." I understood that she needed to explain the potential risks, but I felt pressured rather than included in a respectful discussion about my care. At my next appointment, my ultrasound, blood work, vital signs, and baby's condition were reassuring. I brought detailed home blood-pressure readings, but I felt they were dismissed. Dr\. Russell repeatedly told me I was putting my baby's life at risk, shared frightening stories about other patients, and moved very close to my face while speaking to me. My three-year-old son was in the room, and I eventually told her I was done arguing because we were getting nowhere. I left crying. I waited until I completed my postpartum care before filing a formal complaint. My six-week postpartum appointment was September 21, and I was cleared. I later received a termination letter dated that same day, citing noncompliance with recommended prenatal care and medical recommendations. I understand doctors must take pregnancy complications seriously. However, patients also deserve respectful communication and the opportunity to participate in decisions about their care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I have tried treatments in Michigan and also in Florida and was giving up on Acupuncture as an effective healing method for me. I was finding that I was in worse shape after the treatment, than I was when I arrived. Then I found the very talented Dr. Bragg. I was in a severe auto accident several years ago that caused disc damage along my entire spine, hip issues, neck and shoulder issues, 17 knee surgeries resulting in knee replacements, relentless fibromyalgia and has developed degenerative disc disease. Yup ........... I'm a disaster!! LOL I'm very touchy about my back and neck especially. If you don't come highly recommended, I won't even take a chance on you touching my body. I need someone that is highly skilled and has an exemplary knowledge of how the body works together. I need someone that truly believes in the healing powers of universal energy and has an unending knowledge of how it works to make my body function at its best. Dr Bragg truly understands the meaning of Qi and the importance of ying and yang ........ balance. The excellent energy of the surroundings adds to your healing experience and the efficiency that this office runs under Jim's guidance is a wonderful beginning to your experience. Miss Sarah is the kindest and most pleasant gal that makes your comfort her number 1 priority. The office is quite relaxing and laid back. Dr. Bragg draws from her vast knowledge to make sure you leave her office in optimum condition. I've never found another acupuncturist that is more knowledgeable and willing to utilize everything and anything that will leave you balanced and feeling much better than when you walked in the door. I look forward to my weekly appointments to keep me in fine tune!! If you need an Acupuncturist that just has "the touch" and is surrounded with a pleasant support staff ............... do yourself a favor and let Dr Bragg show you how good you can feel!! When I came to the front desk to check in, the receptionist could not find me in their system. Apparently, she became frustrated and had an attitude that she could not locate me and told me several times that I was not in the system before telling me to have a seat. After she received help on what to do, I was called for my appointment. That's when she yelled at the nurse assistant that I am not in system and needed to fill out paperwork. By that time, I said something to her about her attitude and unprofessional behavior. Her behavior & attitude impacted my health. When I left, she had told the other receptionists at the front desk who retaliated on her behalf doing little subtle things that I picked up on to retaliation. This is unacceptable. I understand that working the front desk & dealing with patients can be hard but if you do not have the patience, professionalism & maturity to do the job then you need to find another. The front desk is the first point of contact before seeing the physician and last point before leaving the office. No one who is not feeling well wants to encounter attitude & retaliation for speaking out about it. Bay care needs to request & evaluate patient reviews as well as put technology in place to monitor this area for improvement & better customer service experience.
