After giving him the down payment, she had to contact him multiple times to come start the job and to finish it. They never completed it, and the porch roof continues to leak. She has made many attempts to contact them via text, phone calls, emails, and certified mail, and all correspondence is ignored. Cape May Consumer Affairs contacted Mike Trainor on her behalf, but they ultimately suggested that my mom sue them when that attempt went unanswered. It has now been 5+ years of an unfinished, leaky roof and Mike Trainor is nowhere to be found, despite signs all over the neighborhood for new jobs that he is doing.

He was super informative and very patient through the entire process. He went above and beyond installing my new roof for me. He repaired my skylight and replaced some rotted wood and took several pictures and videos along the way showing me his progress. Several days after the roof was installed we had an aggressive wind storm and my weather vane ripped up out of the roof and was laying down. Stateside completely scammed me. They re-sided my house and repaired my porch roof. They charged me for vapor wrap and insulation and when the siding blew off my house I realized they never put on any vapor wrap or insulation.
