South Jersey gas shut off my gas (for potential carbon monoxide safety reasons) because the flue for the water heater had rotted away. Majewski Plumbing and a heating was able to get it repaired quickly even though it was a tight working space. I feel that they took great care to cause the least amount of damage to the drywall to get to the problem area above and the estimate was a fair price for the work that had to be done. Went with these guys for a while because they always get back to you and show up promptly. However, after getting a new line installed and then being told by the township that all we needed was the trap to be cleared (for free), and then a $270 service charge for them just to tell me our propane tank was empty, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Called Majewski to get 2 faucets installed and a kitchen drain. The kitchen was a new countertop so there was no removal of the old faucet or drain. I personally removed the cabinet doors and made sure everything was cleared out for them. They did respond on time and were very friendly. The job was completed in about 1 hour. My biggest complaint was the price. It cost me just under $800. I feel that is very high. This is not our primary residence and can't be going back and forth, plus shopping around for a plumber out handyman, down the shore is very difficult. read more

I was shocked to find that after a one hour service call and minor cleaning that I would be charged $270 for something that they didn't fix. Told me that cleaning the head with a dollar bill would fix my problem. It did not. when I called back Stated that they could order the part which probably cost more to replace and the additional service call then to replace new system. I don't normally post, but I was pretty shocked at the excessive charge for something that they didn't fix. read more

I rarely write bad reviews but I'm so frustrated with the cost of his repair, I feel completely taken advantage of and ripped off. They installed new outdoor spigots last Oct'23. By spring / summer '24, the one spigot was leaking and was always so difficult to turn. We called him back and he claimed it wasn't their product. Then Said it was our fault because it froze. False because the water was turned off all winter. Ugh. Then he replaced it, took about a half hour then charged us $469. We will never call them again. read more

I woke up this morning to water pouring out of my light fixtures and ceiling in my kitchen! Not a peaceful way to start my day. I had someone from my condo association shut off the water, and they suggested calling Majewski plumbing for help. I called Franks number and immediately got a text that he would call me right back, and he did! I explained my problem, and he came out within an hour, shut my water off at the problem sink, turned the water on in the rest of my condo, emergency solved. He will be out tomorrow to fix the problem at my sink. When you live in cape may county year round, it is very difficult to find such quick, reliable service. I will tell everyone I know about Franks business. Today was another reminder for me, of how some people have to live without water and housing. I am grateful for my roof, running hot water, and the great service I received from Majewski's plumbing. read more

I had a leak that was pouring out of under my quad into the neighbors property. We had no idea that the leak was ours. I contacted the city and the guy who came said he could only handle out front. Called Majewski without any knowledge of them and they send out a plumber who was very nice and very helpful. He was also very quick. Christopher was the man that came out quick and was really nice. There was a pipe under the cover and it got turned off by accident and we had no water the next day he came back out and fixed it right away. He did charge for a service call because he didn't know who did that since there was someone else looking under house the day before. Either was he was nice quick and professional. When I needed papers for city of proof of work Frank got them to me right away as well. Will use them again and request Christopher Grant. read more

On Saturday we had a major plumbing issue and called Majewski plumbing because of the great service we had from this company in December and January. Do not use this plumber. He came over told us we needed a cartridge. He then left for over 1.5 hours to get it. When he finally returned he informed us he did another job in between. Took him 5-7 minutes once he got back and then charged us $247. Having been a resident of the shore for 40 plus years and with many friends and family here we've had the opportunity to come in contact with many service professionals down here. Be advised that Frank Majewski repeatedly refused to wear a mask when he came to repair our Navian heater. He said he "can't work" wearing a mask and that if we didn't like it we should get someone else to do the work. We did. His lack of professionalism and willingness to risk his own health and ours is counter to the mitigation measures required by the Governor of New Jersey's executive orders.. read more

I had them replace a leaking hose faucet and they did - no problems. When a second one on the side of the house started leaking, I called them again and described the situation. They couldn't come while I was at the house (a vacation home) but they said they could do the work without me being there. This turned out To be a mistake. The replaced a functioning non-leaking faucet on the front of the house. I called when I discovered what they had done and the person I spoke to said that the front faucet was the one I had asked them to replace. Why would I want to replace something that wasn't broken? I was not offered a refund or compensation for their mistake. read more

I hired these guys to install a hot water heater in an emergency. They came out ASAP , the owner is a nice guy but took advantage of the situation and charged me $1800. Ridiculous! I decided to give them a second chance when I needed a dishwasher installed ( because I am clearly dense) . They came out and quoted me a price of $530 to just install a washer I just bought from Lowe's! Are you kidding me? I called Breuss plumbing and they did the job for less than $200! Don't give your business to these guys. They are rip-off artists. read more

Very happy with the work. First, they answered the phone, showed up for an estimate and then actually came back to do the job! unfortunately so many contractors these days just don't. Buyer Beware: We have a Navien Tankless Water Heater that needed a yearly maintenance. I was referred to Majewski Plumbing. I called and spoke with Frank the owner who at the time was very nice. I asked about how much the maintenance job would cost and he responded by saying, " the service guy will give you a price when he arrives." At that point I should have realized this will not be good but since he was referred to me I would give him a try. When the service guys came out they quoted us $400.00...I was shocked. The service guys were very nice and seemed to do a nice job no complaints with the service men. Later I decided to call around to get quotes for this type of service and the prices I got were $180-$200. My bad for not checking before hiring Majewski. Anyway I decided to contact Frank Majewski just to let him know that his price was way out line...I was not asking for any money back or a credit, I just wanted to let him know. Frank was extremely rude to me and told me I didn't need to tell him what others charge...that those others don't have the overhead cost that he has...blah blah blah... I know for a fact that those others do have the same overhead cost. So my question is why couldn't Frank give me some idea of the cost when I called him to set up the appointment? So buyer beware the company may rip you off. So not right, but then again I will take responsibility for not checking around first. read more
