Dr. Wright has fixed errors from another dentist for my daughter. We moved out of town but I will still drive down to Urbana to get my teeth fixed here. I am only sad we will be moving out of state soon but we are considering planning dentist appointments with Dr. Wright around our trips back up to visit kids and grandkids. When you know you are in excellent hands it's definitely worth doing so.

They neglected to tell him after several visits he would need a tooth pulled to be cleared. Instead they sent him on his way and said the would fill out the paperwork.( to our knowledge it was done.) We find out two weeks later he had to have a tooth pulled and we found out from the transplant center not the dentist. They sent us to another office for the tooth extraction. They had a week to fill out 1 single paper. ( my husband called and reminded them in the middle of the week) So my husband case could be reviewed this week. Yet they still couldn't get that done. Now we have to wait even longer because this office simply just couldn't be bother to fill out a paperwork to help save my husbands life. While my husbands life Very obviously is a joke to this office he is my world. .

I found Dr. Gioiello on my dental insurance site and then looked him up on Yelp. I would like to thank those who Yelped before me, because this guy and his staff are GREAT!! When scheduling for a procedure for a special needs person or for anyone else, there should be a timeline given, approximately a time to the caregiver or family so they can judge accordingly for the day for appointments. Please don't just assume that we know the times, schedules of procedures,... Also, when I requested to go back to speak with my client after 11/2 hours later about our upcoming appointment, I was refused. Then right after my request a Haitian man with another man was permitted To go back, claiming he was his interpreter. This experience was a double standard which I strongly disagree with! I work with special needs adults and today my client had an appointment for a filling and a repair for a cracked front tooth. # 1 complaint- We were not informed of the time that it would take. #2 complaint- Then after sitting for 1 1/2 hours I asked how much longer it would take because of an appointment coming up soon and they said, possibly 1 more hour. #3 complaint- When I finally spoke with the dental assistant ( I assuming) I asked how much longer it would take because we had another appointment in 30 minutes, she said, they weren't informed of another appointment coming up and my answer was, I didn't know I needed to inform this. #4- complaint- This was at 11:30 @ Lunchtime... We were not informed up front of not being able to eat for 2 hours after the procedure until after you were finished. We can all learn from this experience. There should be exceptions with certain circumstances such as special needs and Haitians. I'm very disappointed with your customer service team.
