SOLID brunch spot. Great location, sitting outside is a must. Probably the best eggs Benedict I've had, ever, and I have had a lot of eggs Benedict. Good flavor, light and fluffy hollandaise sauce. It was so good my wife and I had it 2 mornings in a row. French toast was also notable. They also get extra points for selling entire bottles of champagne (in an ice bucket) for us girls that just wanna have fun. It is not full service and you must order at a counter FYI. Finally stopped in Champagnes Kitchen and happy I did! Had an excellent experience! Went on a Sunday afternoon with a couple of friends, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Got seated right away. They have a full bar (woot woot!) We really enjoyed everything that we tried. I will definitely be back to try more things and my friend wants to try breakfast. Here's what we got: Lemon Drop Martini Bacon wrapped dates - small little pieces but they were good. Champagnes Burger - Thumbs up from my friend. Champagnes Club - I got it on Brioche - it was really good. Avocado Toast & Turkey Chili - Thumbs up from my other friend and I tasted them too, so, Two Thumbs up! Tried Champagnes Kitchen for the first time tonight and was amazed by the service and food! Great location for dinner on the patio during the street fair. Hope you enjoy 80s music and people watching! Our server Kate was great. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food. We got the turkey chili, twice baked potato fritters, cheeseburger, and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata was light and the pasta it came with was delicious. This is a great size for dinner. We ended up taking a salted coffee cookie home. From the hostess Taylor, to our waitress Kate and the owner Matt , I'm so glad you guys opened in HB. At noon on Sunday, fairly full but still some booths inside for the 3 of us. Patio seating was full but we wanted the a/c so it suited us fine. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. We ordered the two egg breakfast, a BLT, and club sandwich. And passion fruit ice tea. It was ready in 20 minutes. Our bacon was extra crispy with no chewy parts, perfect. I was first introduced at the Taste of HB- their kale salad is out of this world. I brought our business group here for their soft opening. Breakfast and lunch are order at the register. Place is mid - went to the soft open - maybe had higher expectations or maybe they're not just fully set up. The place is really cute, big improvement from the previous establishment. We came for dinner and ordered the turkey meatloaf, the shrimp and grits and regular salad to start, with a drinks. The service was spotty. Our server was super friendly, but she kept forgetting things we were asking for (like hot sauce, or napkins - at one point she came and brought a box for leftovers but left with the bag for the box...) Our starters came with the mains - which was fine. The salad looked so sad - looks kind of like the premade ones from the supermarket ... Turkey meatloaf was tasty but came with super salty spinach. Newly opened branch - right at prime hb location. On the main street near the peer. To me location of the spot is perfect, food was really good too. Parking can be a bit challenging and I went there over weekend so I had to pay $5 in parking lot. They dont do any validation. Family owned restaurant and they make felresh past and pizza. Been wanting to try this new HB location as I love them in Newport Beach. Finally ate here last night. Was impressed with the southern fried chicken - made with breast and it was so tasty and moist - ask for extra gravy on the side as it is so good with the mashed potatoes and green beans. Prices were very reasonable - great wine selection as well. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and of course great company from the table next to us. They had the burrata and also the cheeseburger and said both were to die for. I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast and also Rueben sandwich. My friends and I just had the most wonderful meal at this new Restaurant in Huntington Beach on Main Street called Champagnes Kitchen. It has been open for three months We were there for either breakfast or lunch for a party of five. And each every order was divine, the ingredients were fresh, flavorful and so well seasoned. We have shared our compliments with the owner Matt and the highest praise to the chief, his wife and co owner. She is a professionally trained CIA (Culinary Institute of America) certified culinary genius. Two of us had the delicious omelets Mediterranean and veggie they were the most light and deletable creations. The flavors of the Mediterranean olives, spinach, Kalamata olives and feta just melted in your mouth. The veggie were all so fresh and flavorful. The others in our party had sandwiches, the French Dip, Italian Beef, Reuben all were well recieved and raved about upon completion and review. Matt mentioned the restaurant gives locals a 20% discount on happy hour menu on Tuesdays and kids eat free on Thursdays nights. The atmosphere and welcoming vibe from Matt was one of the reasons we all said we will be retuning to the restaurant in the future telling our family and friends about our fabulous experience. Thank you Matt for the friendly discussion and willingness to hear all our feedback. Just a few little things like the lids difficult to fit the cups, menu on wall difficult to read, marketing on table flyers hide the deals in small print. You can tell they actually care about what they're putting on the plate. What stood out just as much was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and never made us feel rushed, even though the restaurant was busy. That's getting harder and harder to find. OMG - this place is such a GEM. I stumbled upon it during my walk and I was delighted to see smiling faces and a fun yet classy vibe. Vanessa was the sweetest and took amazing care of me - as did the gentleman that delivered my drink. Food: I'm not a huge fan of Eggs Benedict solely due to my admitted pickiness, but Vanessa recommended it and I couldn't put my fork down.
