It does get busy on weekends, but the queueing system works well--just put your paddle in the rack and wait for your turn. Even if you're solo, it's easy to find open slots and join games, which makes it a great spot to meet other players. The only downside is that refilling your water can be tricky, so make sure to bring a large water bottle. If you get hungry, Neomonde is a great quick option just down the street. Overall, I've found everyone at the courts to be welcoming and inclusive, making it a great environment for newcomers like me.

Unique features here: - Lots of sitting areas - Top floor indoor track - Large men's and women's locker rooms on the bottom floor - Ample space available to spread out from people - Hair stylist station in men's locker room - Treadmill in men's locker room No complaints here! It's a discombobulated puzzle on the top floor. Each open room offers a different quadrant of machines. One room has your benches/incline/decline. One room has all the treadmills/stairsteppers. One room has yoga/pilates. One room has your weight machines. And the room I finally found is hidden in the back and has all your dumbbells/pulley machines/smith machines. Word to the wise, you'll get a workout going from the bottom to the top floor. Three floors of fun! Enjoy your treasure hunt when you arrive.

Lockers downstairs, spacious and very well kept. Sauna was a delight and good thing it can hold a lot of people because there were like 8 of us inside at one point. A lot of workout equipment, all types of machines like 3 or 4 rooms upstairs for weights/ machines/ cardio/ etc. Areas for stretching and walking circle. The basketball court was great to finish the workout. I will definitely consider visiting again if in the area.

When they have soccer its a chore to find parking but eventually you do. He loves the park. Write a great review and make it sound like me. Every time my grandson comes to stay with me, one thing is guaranteed we're going to this park. It's become our spot, and honestly, it never disappoints. The playground is perfect for kids. There are plenty of slides, swings, and even a sand area, which my grandson absolutely loves. He could spend hours there and still not be ready to leave. It's one of those places where you can just let them play, explore, and be kids without overthinking it. Now, I will say when there are soccer games going on, parking can be a bit of a challenge. You might have to circle around a little and be patient, but you'll find a spot eventually. And once you do, it's completely worth it. Overall, this park is a win for us every time. My grandson loves it, and seeing how excited he gets to go back? That alone makes it a 5-star place in my book.

The workers are friendly and helpful, and the facility has a lot to offer. The aquatics center in particular is fantastic, the depth of the pool at it's deepest is 11 ft, and at the shallowest is 4 ft. For members there are times during the week and on the weekend for "kids swim" so that all members of the family can join! The basketball courts were recently redone this past year (2014) so that NC State's team could practice there for a few months, so they are really fantastic to play on. All and all I have had a great experience with this gym, it is very popular among students and almost never too crowded to break a good sweat. Definitely check it out! Even if you're not a member I believe the price for a day-pass is $10 which is pretty reasonable!

Becca and Jenna are my fav teachers and all of teachers are really nice. They motivate you throughout the entire class and I'm telling you, these classes? phew! a great workout! I stopped by this park yesterday afternoon to wear out my kids on the playground. I was stunned…read morethat the playground was completely empty and all to us! The playground equipment was all brand new and the area was mostly enclosed with a fence. Within this space, the play equipment is appropriate for kids 5 to 12 years old. The floor of the play area is rubberized for safety. There's a super tall slide that you have to climb up via webbed ropes (so not very easy for smaller kids unless they are avid climbers). The slide is not for super tall people. It has sharp turns inside it that cause you to knock against the sides as you go down (I know from experience). It also caused my 4.5-year-old daughter to lose one of her shoes two times she slid down. There's a giant spider-web-like climbing area for kids to play on, as well. There are a couple of benches for parents to sit on as they watch their kids. There is a smaller area off to the side for kids 2 to 5 years old that has sand, multiple spring riders (an animal, an airplane, and a car), a small Yogi-Bear see-saw, and a small slide with steps (though the steps are a bit steep). It's disappointing that this area is not fenced in - especially since it's for younger kids who tend to wander. Luckily, there's a bathroom facility building across from the playground and next to the tennis courts. There are two stalls inside the ladys' room, one sink, and a heated blow dryer. Outside the bathroom, there's a handy water-bottle-filling station. There's also a dog run area (next to the parking area that you enter from on Wade Avenue) with benches, trash cans, and a dog waste station. If you want to host a party or picnic, there's a picnic shelter you can rent for $12 an hour (it has 6 tables and can host anywhere from 36 to 60 people). There are 2 tennis courts that have push-button lighting that works from dusk to 10 pm year-round. If you like Sand Volleyball, there are 6 lighted volleyball courts to choose from (they are first-come, first-served). On Tuesday and Thursday nights during league play, courts 1-4 are unavailable from 6 to 11 pm. There are 2 softball fields and a youth baseball field. I highly recommend this park if you have kids!
